Also it says that On the bottom of your post, you will see the word "Edit" so click on it and you will be granted access to re-type or edit what was written on that post. I don't see where it says the word Edit.

You can click on the Report button of your own post and explain what the problem is. Mods will read your report and decide to make the edit for you or not. If you made a minor typo (for example you wrote haidth instead of hadith) Mods will not edit it. Everyone knows what you meant. Please make it a habit to read your reply after you post it, so that you can catch an error and edit it yourself, before the time limit is over.

Also I accidentally removed viewing the signatures which was below your name rays of hope. How do I undo what I did in settings to view the signatures again and also where do I go to make my own signature?

:salam: Sister,

We used to have a preview option earlier but since the upgrade the same has been lost. I found the preview button useful as we could proof read and also view the format of the reply before we post it. Is there any chance at getting back the same?

Salam! The replies are streamlined now. Whatever you post in the reply box is exactly how it will look in the topic. There is no longer a need for a preview.

When you click on your name, click on "Ignored Users" and undo that you ignored my signature. See the image:

To create your own signature, click on "Account Settings" then click on "Signature." to create your own.

At the bottom of your post. After the 1 hour edit time is over, you won't see the word edit, because it is not available after 1 hour. :D

Thanks... I prefer a Preview button for longer replies but that's fine. :D

When I went to ignored users it didn't have you listed as ignored can you access my account and undo that I ignored your signature? Also I couldn't find where it says signature under account settings. I found when you typed something under about me the text was placed where you had your signature.

Okay. I made a change in your account. Check it now to see if you can view the signatures of other members.

I can see your own signature in your account. If you cannot see it, then you should wait until you become an Advanced member and your settings will change, after you post 25 times in the forums.

    • Bismehe Ta3ala, Assalam Alikum  I would never celebrate the slaughter of a nation.  Curse be upon CC. Just like we hate it when people celebrate on Ashura, we should feel the same way towards this mass murdering day.  But every year I mention the same thing, just a reminder for the passerby. • Thanks the most relevant answer to the question i have got is given below:  Mirza Jawad Tabrizi Question: Isn’t wearing black while praying Makruh? On the other hand, donning black is commendable during the mourning period for Imam Hussein (AS). What is the justification for the contradiction between these two points? Answer: The undesirability of wearing black clothes in the state of praying or in other situations is not proven as an absolute fact. It is only derived from a number of narratives the chains of transmission of which are unreliable and weak. Regardless of their unreliability, wearing black clothes while praying will lessen its spiritual reward. But putting on black clothes in grief for Imam Hussein (AS) is a religious rite and commendable. Al-‘Amili; al-Intisar, vol. 9, p. 247; publication, Dar al-Sirat, Beirut, Lebanon, the first edition, 1422. Following the analysis of jurists’ ideas it was finally revealed that wearing black in prayers is Makruh. Another question which may come into the readers’ minds is whether praying in black clothes for black-clad mourners during the month of Muharram or ceremonies held for the martyrdoms of the Aimma is Makruh as well. The question has been answered by Haj Aqa Mirza Jawad Tabrizi. It is not Makruh if the motivation behind the clothing is the expression of grief. Al-‘Amili; al-Intisar, vol. 9, p. 247; publication: Dar al-Sirat, Beirut, Lebanon, the first edition, 1422. The considerable point in jurists’ decrees is bad this kind the prohibition implies that wearing black while praying will only diminish its spiritual rewards. In other words, donning black while praying does not nullify the prayer. It only decreases its rewards. So, wearing garments in other colors is recommended for the state of praying. http://www.valiasr-aj.com/english/mobile_shownews.php?idnews=251 wasalam
    • ^^^ A7SANTI sister, Mash'Allah.  God bless you. Allhoma sali 3la Mohammad wa Ahli Mohammad
    • Are you asking if they are makrooh to wear in Muharram? No they are not.  They are only makrooh to wear in days that are not mourning days. Sayyed Al-Sistani said it is makrooh to wear black in a normal day.
    • My intention is clear as given in my questions. Wasalam
