Allah bless you all my dear, dear friends at ShiaChat. Look at this live web cam. Today I saw the hummingbird leave her nest a few times and there are two eggs inside.

The person who set up the camera wrote that the eggs may begin to hatch on June 9, 2011. She is so cute I am in love with her.

Forgive the commercial at the beginning and the little ads. Just click the little x to close the ads in front of the nest.

Baby from previous hatching comes back to look at Mama's new eggs.

Forgot to mention, if she is very active while on the nest, she is turning the eggs over with her feet. :)

Thank you, Brother Mansour. Beautiful ^ nature video. Stunning.

REALLY WAS SO NICE PICX

Thank you for the ^ kind comment, Sister fatima2I. :)

FYI about the web cam. Some countrys block the Internet & can't see that site. Put the web cam of the nest on ur desktop using the pop out button to get it bigger,. Open Skype and they can see whatever is on ur desktop.

Wow. Great tip ^ sent to me in a private message. I don't understand that, but if you have Skype you probably do understand it. In case anyone cannot link to the web cam, I will try to post some more photos.

It is after sunset in California now, so the web cam is dark until the sun starts coming up. But this is a nice video of mama bird turning the eggs with her feet, and you can hear her song after the accomplishment. It does not look like the nest she is sitting on right now, so it must be a previous year. http://gallery.phoebeallens.com/displayimage.php?album=10&pid=1748#top_display_media

On June 3, I saw a message that said the eggs may hatch on June 9, but tonight the message says come 5:40 am California time on June 8, which is today! There is a big web cam with a clock so you can see when it is 5:40 am. For the bigger web cam view, go here: http://phoebeallens.com/big.html

We missed the nest construction, so watch this while you wait: http://gallery.phoebeallens.com/displayimage.php?album=topn&cat=-10&pid=1493#top_display_media

^ Mesmerizing is a very good description! I read that they fly around like that to create body heat.

Amazing that they never run into each other. Then they sleep near one another in the trees to keep each other warm.

This ^ is a very cute pic: Ostrich egg, chicken egg, hummingbird egg.

Oh yeah, the second baby hummingbird hatched today.

InshaAllah they will be ready to fly the week of June 27th.

(salam) Sister Hameedeh how are you?

every nice saying from Imam Ali A.S,

I like the Wisteria, they look so nice. the purple one looks the best.

(wasalam)

(bismillah)

(salam)

Alhamdulillah, Brother Hamzi, thanks for asking. From the various photos I've seen of Wisteria, the purple ones are the most abundant in gardens. I'm not sure if gardeners grow the purple one because people like it so much or they themselves love the color of it. From what I read, the flowers can also be pink, blue or white, but never yellow.

never yellow, why not?

How are you and your family, Br. Hamzi? You know, I read that at wikipedia and just now when you asked me, I thought maybe the person who wrote that never saw a yellow Wisteria. But maybe it does exist. SubhanAllah!
