Zayd, The Beggar of Wisdom (Part 1)

Recommended Posts

سبحان الله

Salam Alaikum, oh brothers and sisters around the globe!

This is a story, for you to read with patience.

STORY:

Not far from Karbala,

A place which had many afflictions in the past,

There was a child,

His name was Zayd,

Zayd,

Does this name tell you something?

For me it does,

He is named after someone,

But who?

He didn't know it,

But no doubt it was a beautiful name,

So he didn't look after it's history,

Rather, he looked at it's beauty.

Zayd,

He had no relatives,

Except his ill mother and father,

They were dependent,

On Zayd.

Zayd collected money,

With selling stolen materials,

From destructed homes,

Because in Zayd's time,

There was a dynasty ruling the region,

It stretched from the City of Jasmine,

To the City of Susa,

The dynasty consisted of a court,

A court,

But what did they do?

Collect money from the farmers,

Who had no vote against this law,

And what?

Nothing more for it's people,

Nor against it.

Zayd,

He did not care against those nobles,

They conquered from a domestic war,

Where they lied against their own people,

On Zayd.

The parents of Zayd,

Were tax collectors,

Active in the city of Babylon,

They collected the tax,

From the same poor population,

Which took the role,

From the parents of Zayd,

Taken by force?

The people took the city,

As their hub and capital,

But how?

After a civil war,

That was won by the people,

Who rule Zayd now,

Oh Zayd.

Zayd,

He sold and stole,

Sorrow never came in his nerves,

Only patience came,

On Zayd.

Everybody knew the family,

But after the war,

But after the birth,

Of beloved Zayd,

Who knew them now?

Only the traitors,

Who did not care,

But what about Zayd?

Oh Zayd,

You are just as unfortunate,

As your predecessors.

Zayd,

After the demise of his parents,

He learned to talk a poetic language,

He always submitted to One Force,

In contrast to the nobles,

Who were numerous,

On Zayd.

CONTINUING THE STORY LAYS ON YOUR HANDS,

A POLL COMES SOON,

BUT ONLY Allah KNOWS.
