Hello,

I heard a report on the radio claiming Kim Jong-nam had become more outspoken regarding North Korean politics and had even criticized Kim Jong-un.  If true, such activity is worse for your health than even a high cholesterol diet.

All the Best,

David

For once, I agree with you. It seems that people who run afoul of Kim Jong Un have short lives and die in spectacularly gruesome ways.

Hospitals were changed for performance of the autopsy. Nothing yet.

While in Macau, Kim lived under the "protection" of the PRC. So why he was on another of his multi-country excursions, l do not know.

al-Jazzera says the autopsy is being performed and DPRK officials are in the same building.

NOTE: Media reports say that Kim Jong-nam "criticized" the DPRK regime, BUT Jong-nam was/is known for scoffing about nearly everything.

The autopsy was completed Wednesday, Malay time. lt is still not decided if the report will be released. [OpEd: Since Kim was not assassinated but essentially collapsed and died on the way to the hospital, the report will probably not be released to save the faces of a lot of run-at-the-mouths]

The name on Kim's passport was earlier reported as "Kim Chol" which is the same name as his FaceBook account. He used a squirrel, reportedly, in his picture space. He has a few prominent people listed as friends, and has other friends from France, Sweden, Russia and Singapore.  http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/asiapacific/kim-jong-nam-shared-his-likes-on-facebook/3525044.html

2nd autopsy will be done Friday as the first one was "inconclusive".

4th person arrest in the north of Malaysia, a North Korean

Nobody has "claim" Kim Jong-nam's body. And no one has provided DNA samples.

The DPRK ambassador to Malaysia has been summoned to the Malay Foreign Ministry to "explain" disparaging comments made about Malaysia.

4 North Koreans still sought.

The "Murder on CCTV" was acquired by Fiji news (Japan) and can be seen here:

A] Malaysia has recalled its Ambassador to DPRK, on Monday.

B} lt is very unIikeIy that Kim Jong-un had his half brother murdered.

Module 1: Reaction from "Diminishing Status"

from Ontario, http://maoistrebelnews.com/2013/12/15/what-really-happened-with-the-jang-song-thaek-purge/   ln the early 1990s with events singling out the DPRK, such as the "fall of socialism" in the West allowing the US to focus more on the DPRK, North Korea adopted the Songun defense policy of military build-up. Example, DPRK can put 55 thousand artillery shells per hour into Seoul. Since 2005 in particular, the Songun policy is being displaced by "more bang for the buck" nuclear devices and missiles. The 'savings' are seen going into consumer goods, Chinese tourism, amusements parks and so forth. General Jang was also an economic liaison with the PRC. Kim Jong-un's anti-corruption drive and change away from Songun "threatens" the monies corrupt officials were/are getting.

With this backdrop, Kim Jong-nam's murder is a "warning" against further 'deep purges'.

For other officials purged see: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3080427/Brutally-executed-banished-disappeared-grim-fate-North-Korea-officials-purged-Kim-Jong-four-years-acted-pallbearers-father-s-funeral.html ; and http://38north.org/2013/12/amansourov120913/

Module 2:  Revenge and Malaysia

from Wikipedia, Kim Jong-un article, under "Purges and Executions",  Jang Song Thaek's family was eliminated down to the grandchildren, his son was Ambassador to Malaysia and Jang's family had many ties there-- (not Wiki-->) to include organized crime and Malaysian gov't and police personnel.

With this backdrop, Kim Jong-nam's murder  is "payback" by someone. Who?

USA "not involved": No reason for it.

The State Dept webpage states that US policy is the "peaceful reunification of Korea". This despite targeted sanctions and sponsoring UN Resolutions.

Plus, provoking the DPRK is not in US national interest. The DPRK's change away from Songun is reflected in the orbiting of a satellite with a Sohae missile on 12Dec12. Former Sec of Defense Ashton Carter's assessment can be found http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2017/01/north-korea-threatens-icbm-launch-blames-170108184012297.html

DPRK Ambassador to Malaysia held an "impromptu news conference".

http://www.upi.com/Top_News/World-News/2017/02/20/North-Korea-ambassador-says-Kim-Jong-Nam-died-of-natural-causes/9101487600403/

The names of the 4 men still sought are at the end of the article.

In the video:

Kim Jong Nam was traveling on a diplomatic passport.

The Ambassador accused South Korea of involvement @8 minute+

He also accused Malaysia of 'colluding' with South Korea @11minutes

He also objected to North Korean residents in Malaysia being subjected to raids without warrants.

Elsewhere: the PRC says it is monitoring events closely.

Added: 0900EST Al-Jazeera is reporting that 3 of the 4 sought suspects caught a flight to Dubai.

21Feb -nothing new

22Feb17: CNN, Sam,ir Mohsen, reported that the Malaysian Intelligence Committee has ruled that Kim Jong Nam was murdered, a heart attack has been ruled out but the toxicology has not as yet been determined.

The 4 DPRK suspects are believed to be now in North Korea.

Kim Jong Nam is in-morgue under the name of his diplomatic passport, Kim Chol. No one is claiming the body or providing a DNA confirmation. Allegedly, Kim's family "is in hiding".

OpEd: Did some search/research on chemical assassinations. The delayed casualty effect seen in the CCTV is consistent with VX but not consistent with the prompt casualty effect of G-series neuro-toxins. Because a glove was used, the victim's death delayed, VX would sicken the assassin's if sprayed, VX or other organo-phosphate can be ruled out. Apparently, an organo-arsenic such as Lewsite can also be ruled out. If this class of organo-metallics was used, it maybe an organo-antimonic.

In contrast to the above post, The Guardian is reporting that Malaysian police said the chemical used to murder Kim Jong-nam was "a VX agent". Whether "a type like or similar to" agent is meant is not clarified.

For a summary to date, see:  http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4252048/LOL-assassin-selfie-days-Kim-Jong-nam-killing.html

The slide show is a pretty good summary.

This personable multilingual was kind of isolated. Wary in many circumstances.

Ignore those geographic assertions --excepting Geneva.

Elsewhere: The one alleged assassin was sickened by the chemical agent.

The little runt has his feet in shoes bigger than himself. I believe he will not survive for long due to the evident power struggle within the regime which show its insecurities and weaknesses. My only fear is that in a moment of madness he might just send a nuke out of the skies. The Kims are mad enough to do that, regardless of what their apologists say.

Yesterday, North Korea said it was barring all Malaysians from leaving the country. Malaysia responded by barring all North Koreans from leaving the country. The two countries are holding each other’s citizens hostage over the murder of Kim Jong Nam.

It has been a month since the murder. Kim's body maybe buried inside Malaysia the Deputy PM said. Dismissal of the allegation that VX chemical warfare agent was used is continuing. [[Note: the same symptoms, times and then the continuous vomiting by Setti Ayisha is more consistent with a Halothane & Fentanyl(-or-more-likely-Carfentanil) binary assault. The Halothane explains the later vomiting. -ed.]]

The 04Oct17 PBS/WCET Frontline 2 said the same thing. Kim Jong-nam was in email correspondence with a Japanese reporter. The program did not indicate that that any of this was personalized towards Kim Jong-un.

The program also showed where Sieta Aisha had recorded her previous 20+ "pranks". According to the program, she said she never met Doan Thi Huong until the 13Feb assassination date. Both pleaded "not guilty" before the court on Tuesday the 3rd.

This is what l am still skeptical about:  http://www.newsobserver.com/news/article177134206.html   "The Latest: Chemist: VX could kill without affecting others",  an AP story. Which is BS. As the CDC and others back in February and March objected, it takes Iess than a drop for VX to be lethal. ***  As noted above, 18Feb, a second autopsy was necessary, 22Feb the toxicology and on 12March l posted a good mimickery of VX in time and in reactions. The Russians had used this in their Moscow theater siege years ago. Halothane in the spray bottle is consistent with Doan's vomiting in the restroom.

ln short, the testifying "chemist" is inconsistent in his testimony.

The program also said that Kim Jong-nam was a source of funds for the DPRK.

    • In Kitab al Tawheed by Sheik Saduq (ra) about the first chapter: The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "Whoever dies without ascribing a partner to Allah, will enter Heaven regardless of weather he has done good or evil." * * In Bukhari, The Prophet Muhammad (saws) said: "People must suffer the burning of Hell-Fire as a punishment for the sins they committed. Afterwards Allah will admit them to Paradise with His Grace and Mercy. So they will be called al-Jahanamiyyun." ---- This is also from Imam Ali (as) who said: The Prince of Believers, 'Ali, on whom be peace, was asked: Describe death to us. He said: You have, indeed, accidentally come to one who is well informed! It (death) brings to the person dying one of three things - either tidings of perpetual bliss, or of everlasting misery, or fear and dread, or an uncertainty (amrun mubhamun), if he (the dying person) does not know to which section he belongs. Now as for our friend and the follower of our command, he will be the recipient of the good tidings of perpetual bliss; and as for our enemy and one who opposed our claim, he will be given tidings of eternal misery: but one whose affair is doubtful, that is one who does not know his own mind, he is a believer who is prodigal regarding his own affairs (al-mu'amin al-musrif 'ala nafsihi), not knowing what his condition will be. Good comes to him after doubt and dread. Then Allah will never mingle him with our enemies, but will take him out of the Fire by our intercession. So act (righteously) and obey (Allah) and do not rely solely upon yourselves, and do not belittle the punishment of Allah. For verily, he, who does not obtain our intercession except after 300,000 years of Allah's chastisement, is to be counted amongst the wasteful (musrifin) ---- Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (as) said: "Verily, Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى, has given the Believers a gurantee." I asked, "What is it?" He replied: "If a Believer professes his faith in Allah's Divinity, Muhammad's Prophethood, and 'Ali's Imamate, and carries out his duties, He guarantees him eternal life in His Presence [jiwar],  I said: "By Allah! This is a blessing with which none of the blessings bestowed upon the sons of Adan can compare." Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (as) replied, "They have done little but they have enjoyed much."
    • Brother, Have you tried to verify the hadiths with the verses of quran by some research? or  Do you like to reject he authentic hadith like hadith rejecter? The verification of the hadith of the prophet saaw in the light of verses of quran through the research has already been conducted as mentioned in the thread the  link is given below: This efficiently provides  the evidences for confirmation of the fact that the verse of purification covers the prophet saww his daughter, and 12 Imams. ie 14 persons. The saved sect 1 out of 73 as per hadith of the prophet saaw follows his purified progeny. wasalam
    • Yeah man, I'm offended by such ridiculous words of Yasir Qadhi. I finally got an answer as to, why he doesn't believe in Imamah etc
    • As I said I do not believe in this mentality. I said it's an invaluable job. Of course I do support women who participate in society and and work with Hijab. It's self esteem and a good picture of Islam. Somebody said that men use their money(I don't believe in their money. It's our money) on their own whims. I do not believe this. A good man buys everything that his wife needs within Islamic rules and his budget. Why not doing that really? Of course forcing on something like buying stuff is childish behaviour. I feel there's a deviation from the main topic. Differences between eastern and western marriage is my point. Working was just an example.
    • We live in this world, and have social and political unity/alliances and peace treaties with other humans with different nationalities, Way of life(Religion) . We coexist. But for Muslims, only social unity is not a long term solution. Can’t have political unity against an outside enemy, when we will turn against each other, after using each other for our own benefit. It just doesn't work or Once we come across an inflection point. We all go back to our Beliefs and politicians play with it. i.e. Iraq, Syria . So, to say, we are doing this and that together , great, no one is against it. Everything except the most important issue our Religion.  I read comments like we work together and we hang out together, or help each other. That is not what we are talking about here or against it. If people think that talking about this is going to create more problems, so keep it to the side. What exactly, is out long term plan? This is a place to have an intellectual, academic, dispassionate discussion. I am a layman, I have no knowledge, I post here  after reading a topic. so, stuff in my mind is critiqued and I increase my knowledge. I have no ability to teach others. But at the same time, we have some intellect and some basic knowledge about our faith, not much in fiqh or hadith or quranic. But enough to formulate a stance on faith issues. And we can read and understand and connect the dots in a logical way regarding history. So, at least in faith matters, we have got to learn from each other.  All we have /know is through, Seal of the Prophets, Prophet Muhammad al Mustafa, (peace be upon him and his pure progeny) the best of the creation, the best example to follow for you, the one who has more right on you then you yourself. People have different understandings about, the best of the creation and it translates into how they understand Islam. If we do not get this issue resolved. We will be responsible for misguiding and loosing the young ones other ideologies. they may become Faithless individuals, because WE did not correct the wrong that was instituted by the elite/powerful for their benefit to exploit the people to take/ stay in power. Some of them are not interested, and will block all efforts as their kingdoms, and Presidencies will be in trouble. We will loose a generation of so, But People  will find the truth, in time and there will be an islamic revolution in the Middle East, may be in phases but it will, to much information is out there,  like the one in 1979.  http://www.shiachat.com/forum/topic/235006908-sunnis-and-shias-can-we-just-unite/?page=4&tab=comments#comment-3097753     So, what would be as issue in getting to a proper understanding here, Layman
