Are both of these called Sheesh(or seekh) Kebabs or do they have different names? If not then why. It's about time muslims of all sects get together and develop a proper nomenclature for kebabs. Bbq meat is the only thing that can unite muslim ummah!

What makes a forest 'wild' ?

When it somehow manages to stay unmolested by civilization.

My question:

Why do people believe cats to be holier animals? (except because of abu huraira's alleged fondness of them)

^^^ Is that cat still bothering your pigeons?

No. My pigeons have abandoned their easily accessible places and now perch near the ceiling of their garage. I shot at the cat a few times and it seems to have started avoiding my home now. Good riddance. ^^ Meanwhile in its stead three new cats have started visiting and thankfully none of them seem to notice my pigeons. ^^^

Pics of pigeons would be nice. How many?

You shot one and in its place three emerged lol. They are plotting and planning, 3 measuring up and the almost recovered 4th lurking in the shadows. I think an AK-47 might be in order.

The room behind them is where they nest and some parents are in there while the rest are in the picture having a sun bath. I didn't take close ups, the fancier ones have been eaten by that cat.

Nope I have shot and missed so far. The cat is extremely lucky. This last time I was hiding next to it with a handgun and the cartridge fired with a slight delay, which is sort of a misfire, and it got away. Truth be told as long as my pigeons and stuff in the kitchen are safe I'm not bothered enough (if door is left open it goes inside to wreak havoc and breaks things). Otherwise, AK-47 is for amateurs, I have better stuff.

Bismehe Ta3ala,

Assalam Alikum

Nobody asked a question.  So I'll start it again.

When you something wrong with your friend here are some scenarios,

Something on their teeth

Body odor

Mishap with their clothes

Bad breath

What would you do for each scenario, knowing that they are sensitive towards constructive criticism?

Please a response from a brother and a sister.  Thank you.

When you something wrong with your friend here are some scenarios,

Something on their teeth = tell discretely.

Body odor = do not say anything. Nothing can change it and the brother probably already tried several body sprays.

Mishap with their clothes = Give a suggestion of what would suit better

Bad breath = laugh at it asking what on earth he had for lunch.

What would you do for each scenario, knowing that they are sensitive towards constructive criticism?

Please a response from a brother and a sister.  Thank you.

It depends of its just a one off or if its a recurring problem.

Something on their teeth is fine, just subtly mention it.

Body odour: If they've just come back from a 12 hour shift and theyre knackered and been in the same clothes all day running around im hardly going to bring it up. But if it' something I notice regularly I may slightly mention it and say something comforting like "Oh my cousin has a similar problem but she uses this new deodrant which works wonders"

Mishap with their clothes: Some people take it really personally and get embarrassed when you mock their style, so I avoid doing it. I'll say something along the lines of, for example: Oh I like those trousers, but maybe a slimmer fit would suit you more?

Bad breath: I always have mints/gum with me and I'll offer. Sometimes they refuse and I close my eyes and just go 'take one' lool. Again though if its common I'd just tell them. Ill say it nicely though and tell them it could be serious and they should go dentist.

Hey, do I have something between my teeth? Triggers a motion in the other to check as well.

Body odor
Man, I stink today. Need to use more deodrant

Mishap with their clothes
Hmmmm

Bad breath
I have started going to bed after rinsing my mouth with Listerine.
You want gum?
Man, I have garlic breath...

comments in green above. I find it helpful by putting it on myself first.

What would you do for each scenario, knowing that they are sensitive towards constructive criticism? Too bad, I can't tolerate bad smell or indecent look near me. But if they are really sensitive I wouldn't be obvious about it, like I'd say "man I wanna have some gum" then offer him some.

There are hadiths from our side which talk positively of cats.
