Salam Aleykom

So here is the translation to the best of my ability and understanding of the nasheed.

My salam to the beloved and the joy of his lights

Salam along with the scent and its colors and flowers

Salam along with the sunset and the return of its birds

The salam of the night and its salam to the days

---------------------------------------------

My love, O breeze of longing

My love, O dearest beloved

I love you, O who are as far as my distance

I love you, and the salam hugs my sufferings

--------------------------------------------

My admonish coming from a lover, O [who are] my life

My admonish is tears flowing for you the river of my patience.

My admonish is that you left and your leave turned off my fullmoon

My admonish is the night and the waiting for my dawn's light

----------------------------------------------------

My love where can I find you

My love, and that I can meet you

Far away, there, with the stars, my beloved

You are far away and out of my sight because of my sins

----------------------------------------------------

I remain with the hope, and at your door is my body

I remain, and my little heart begs you through my sorrow

I remain lost and alone, and I hope you find me

I remain in my foreignness and don't know where I am.

-----------------------------------------------

The End.

I hope the translation made sense and sorry if it was not perfect.

Salam :)

Thank you very much brother, may Imam Mahdi (as) accept it from you.

do you happen to have the time units of the translation? Or is this the chorus?

I was hoping to add the word by word translation to match the video clip. insha Allah

You see, I divided the translation into 5 sections. The first section is from 0:44 to 1:14 also from 1:17 to 1:50 is the first section

From 1:52 to 2:20 is the second section

Then it is the : Salam Salam Ya Mahdi Salam

From 3:18 to 3:50 and from 3:52 to 4:25 is the third section

From 4:27 to 4:57 is the forth section

Then it is the : Salam Salam Ya Mahdi Salam

From 5:52 to 6:26 and from 6:30 to 7:00 is the fifth section

Oh I just realized there is one more section after 7:00 I will translate it now.

From 7:00 to 7:35 is the following:

I search and the road turns around

I search and I do not see the light

A dream of ending my sufferings from my illusions

A dream of my salams being received and ending my pains

From 7:35 to the end is: Salam Salam Ya mahdi Salam

My salam to the beloved and the joy of his lights:

By lights do you mean Noor? Could I use "radiance"

Salam along with the scent and its colors and flowers
Is the scent, and colors of the flowers referring to Imam Mahdi (as)?

Salam along with the sunset and the return of its birds

The salam of the night and its salam to the days

---------------------------------------------

My love, O breeze of longing

My love, O dearest beloved

I love you, O who are as far as my distance
I'm not sure what is mean here. Do you mean, Imam Mahdi (as) distance is as a result of our personal distance?

I love you, and the salam hugs my sufferings

--------------------------------------------

My admonish coming from a lover, O [who are] my life
By admonishment, do you mean like "my punishment is..."

If you don't mind, may I make a couple of tweaks? (maybe just use different words (synonyms) . Thank you very much for your help!

Radiance, can be

Scent, colors, flowers, no I don't think he is refering to Imam Mahdi (as)

Distance, I believe so.

Admonishment, like blame (عتاب in arabic)

Yes ofcourse, in fact I don't like some of the words I used, do whatever you like with it, it's all yours.

By the way, you don't need to include my username in the credits.

Bismillah,

Salaam brother @gerashi_mp. May you be well, insha Allah.

I was wondering if you could take a look at this clip, and let me know if the video matches the Arabic recitation? Or what is the recitation talking about?

If so, if you find the time. Do you think you could translate it? Sorry to bother you.

Salam sister @jannahismygoal

It is about Allah and also doing dua that Allah purifies him, supports him. And that how Allah is there at trials and hardships.

As for the video if it matches the recitation, yes it is good in general.

I wrote the nasheed down so I will include the translation soon inshallah, and forgive me for the late reply.

@jannahismygoal

Salam Aleykom sister! so here's the translation (to the best of my understanding)

I have asked the son near the door so that ..   (did not understand what he means)

I might receive the divine blessings ..

O God of the throne, purify the temptations of my Nafs ..

from the sins, O God of hope (x2)

----------------------------------------------------------------

Towards you the caravans of love are moving..

And the tears of the eyes are the aid for supplications ..

So be my shelter and be my hope if ..

the winds of despair blew in my nights ..

O God of the throne (x2) purify the temptations of my Nafs

-----------------------------------------------------------------

I kneeled down praising the Merciful, my God ..

and the swarm of birds have sung praising [Him] ..

And He [Who] blesses, it appears in the dark like..    (did not understand what he means)

The moons .. like necklaces [made of] lights..

O God of the universe (x2), purify the temptations of my Nafs

-------------------------------------------------------------------

And when the rains have overrun my space [my existence/my being]..ِ

And [the building] of my sorrow has become a fort for trials ..

And [when] the people have shut the doors of salvation ..

I found [and realized that] Allah is enough for me [moreover, He is] my consolation/comfort ..

O God of the universe (x2), purify the temptations of my Nafs

The End ..

Please note that some of Arabic words/expressions does not make sense in English but I tried to do a literal translation so that you do not lose the real taste of it, and be able to picture what he's saying.
