Farsi and Arabic

As main difference, there are 32 main letters in Farsi (Persian) / 28 in Arabic. Namely:

There are four letters which are not in Arabic, but are in Farsi, namely:

گ = g (e.g.: go)

چ = ch (e.g.: chair)

پ = p (e.g.: pen)

ژ = ZH/J
