:ws:

I live in Birmingham and there are two main Hussainiya's I know of:

KSIMC of Birmingham - Clifton Road - B12 8S6 - Balsall Heath ---It's the one I've always been going to. There are plans for its extension (not sure when its going to happen though - http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news/balsall-heath-mosque-extended-75-9918571)

Hussainia Mosque - Regent Park Road - B10 0QP - Small Heath

Both centres have English and Urdu speakers.

Insha'Allah, you will find it nice here. And feel free to ask anymore questions!

Thank you very much. May Allah(swt) reward you.

I have another question. I will live in Solihull InshaAllah and I don´t have a car, so I have to use public transport but when i look for the location of the KSIMC in google maps it only appears a journey by car. I wonder if there is any public transport that I can use to get there.

Thank you.

Well Solihull is like an hour and a bit away from Birmingham by bus. I went to Solihull Sixth Form and it took me forever to get home, but this depends on the bus you take.

The first option would be to see if there are any Hussaniya's in Solihull.

If there aren't then you can take these buses from Solihull (from Touchwood Shopping Centre) to the Sparkbrook area:

5 or 31 - these take very long (approx 1 hour/15 mins)

6 - this takes pretty long as well

37 - this is the quickest (approx 30 mins but depends on traffic)

Once you get to Sparkbrook you can either walk to the masjid (approx 20 mins) or catch the 50 bus from Mosley Road to the Masjid (takes like 3 mins).

I realise this must be a lot to take in all of a sudden but it is worth it. The second option may seem daunting at first but you'll eventually get used to it.
