Vice: Killing Cancer

Recommended Posts

Well, its a documentary about this...basically cutting edge research which involves using viruses to destroy cancer cells.  They go through various types of cancer and a handful of viruses and interview a number of doctors performing these practices.  By the end of the film, they note one doctor who has had a 90% of his patients (of 39 total) who have experienced complete remission after his treatment (they experience no signs or symptoms of cancer).

And they interview patients who have been saved etc.

Pharmacy as always will do their best to postpone cures.

Imagine if they would give 1% to every research leader to postpone their result.

That would be like billions of dollars.

There are probably many cures out there, that hasn't been publisheD.

These people will do everything to get billions, create viruses, and then create vaccines for viruses themselves created.

It's amazing that some years ago, people thought viruses were pure evil. Now, everyone trying to eliminate bacteria and many species have already disappeared. Changing our microbiom has a lot to do with modern diseases. Using viruses for cancer treatment and gene therapy can help more than cancer patients i.e. autoimmune and allergic patients. I am looking forward to see what medical science brings us next.

Once cancer is gone, what else with nature throw at us?

...scary thought

Autoimmune diseases, dementia, allergies and cardiovascular diseases, can be just as bad if not worse than some types of cancer. Living with something like SLE can be really really hard.

Interesting fact:

Heart failure kills faster than cancer and while cancer can be treated to some extent, heart failure is just a death sentence.

I read this a couple days ago, detailing another possible treatment strategy with regards to pancreatic cancer via inhibition of interleukin signalling. Some of you might be interested in it.
