LOL, you might want to look into the authenticity of that book before you start using it as proof.......

Looking oneself into the authenticity of narrations/books is not a simple matter, I think you will agree. Anyhow, our pious ulama regard it as authentic and I go by their deep research and knowledge. Furthermore, you should consider that the Imams of Ahle Mohammad have declared it authentic.

Yes indeed, they are the closest to the original shias. They believe that Imam Ali (as) should have become caliph, but at the same time, accept the first 3 caliphs (ra). Take a look at this narration from Imam Zayd (as):

"A group of their leaders assembled in his (Zayd's presence) and said: "May God have mercy on you! What do you have to say on the matter of Abu Bakr and Umar?" Zayd said, "I have not heard anyone in my family renouncing them both nor saying anything but good about them...when they were entrusted with government they behaved justly with the people and acted according to the Qur'an and the Sunnah"

Sahih Muslim Book 019, Number 4349:

It is reported by Zuhri that this tradition was narrated to him by Malik b. Aus who said:,,,,, Then he (Yarfa') came again and said: What do you say about 'Ali and Abbas (who are present at the door)? He said: Yes, and permitted them to enter. ,,,,,, When the Messenger of Allah pbuh passed away, Abu Bakr said:" I am the successor(arabic wali ) of the Messenger of Allah pbuh." Both of you came to demand your shares from the property (left behind by the Messenger of Allah). (Referring to 'Abbas), he said: You demanded your share from the property of your nephew, and he (referring to 'Ali) demanded a share on behalf of his wife from the property of her father. Abu Bakr said: The Messenger of Allah pbuh had said:" We do not have any heirs; what we leave behind is (to be given in) charity." So both of you thought him to be a liar, sinful, treacherous and dishonest . And Allah knows that he was true, virtuous, well-guided and a follower of truth. When Abu Bakr passed away and (I have become) the successor of the Messenger of Allah pbuh and Abu Bakr, you thought me to be a liar, sinful, treacherous and dishonest. And Allah knows that I am true, virtuous, well-guided and a follower of truth. I became the guardian of this property ,,

Oh really, how? did they somehow deny tawheed?

Yes they did, They have committed Shirk al-Akbar! Have Allah given right to someone to appoint a Caliph?

وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً

Lord said to the angels: "I will place a succesor (khalifa) on earth... Quran [2:30]

يَا دَاوُودُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاكَ خَلِيفَةً فِي الْأَرْضِ فَاحْكُمْ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ

O David! We did indeed make thee a succesor (khalifa) on earth: so judge thou between people.... Quran [38:26]

Funny when Shia's talk about shirk, lol. Nice job at taking those verses out of context.

Out of context? Can you show me from Quran; that Allah (swt) has given right to someone else to appoint a Caliph or a Prophet or a Imam? :) I will wait Omar worshiper :)

Funny when Shias talk about shirk,

Alhamdulillah - we do not believe that Allah is young boy with curly hair like you

If imam Ahmed said that, then we reject it,he is not holy to us ;) Koran is thousand times before hadith

we are not shia to make up rules ;)

It's okay brother, these 12rs are extremely misguided.

I get the feeling their imams and "marjas" are incredible manipulators

Q: A Shia friend of mine does not believe that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was illiterate. He also doesn't believe in any of the hadiths of Sahih Al Bukhari, Sahih Muslim and so on. Is he a disbeliever---will he have to abide in hell forever?

A: If he rejected something known by default of Islam, he is a disbeliever. If he doesn’t believe in the Hadeeths in the Bukhari and Muslim, he is not a believer as there are lots of things that are in the Sunnah and not in the Quran.

(salam)

One thing they failed to take into account is that many Shi`ah hadiths agree with the hadiths from Saheeh Al-Bukhari and Saheeh Muslim, so we don't fully disbelieve in the Bukhari's and Muslim's hadeeths.

Much, but in my opnion the 2 biggest

1.they hate the 3 first caliphs,Aisha r.a

2.Their view on the "imams",,it reminds about Christianity to be honest

If thats your view then fair enough, brother. Can i ask what is your purpose of joining a forum with a majority of twelver shias?

you know what reminds me of Christianity, that you think Allah has hands and feet astagfiiruallah, or that umar is better than the prophet, or that prophets make mistakes, or that you can change the religion and make up your own laws after the prophet...

    • salam brother. i read the questions you posted to your scholars and to be honest, you hit the nail on the head. these are exactly some of the questions i am looking answers for, and not just from shias. very similar questions apply to sunni literature as well. did you get any response to the questions where you were told that it is better to answer you in person? it would be really really helpful if you did.
    • Brother this was a very nice argument you gave, I am also curious what if The Prophet is Rasoolullah [sawa] and Eijah is Imam Ali [as]?    Of course brother  you know any sites that I can contact Ayatollahs/Allamas?
    • Believing in oneself more than belief in God is proud and lowering status of Allah which is kufur.
    • 1. To die as a Momin since one this whole world is of no use, I want to die as man of belief and principles. 2. This world is a trap, I would be cautious to take every step as many before me had fallen into it and therefore, I will try my best not to usurp anyone's rights and fall into this wicked trap and Hope Allah AWJ for the sake of Ahlebait will prevent me from anything which is harmful for my Akhirat. 3. The sense that since many good who had power and will to achieve this world kicked her and preferred Allah, I should do the same for separation of Allah is irreparable. 4. To help the needy in whatever way I can. Bring people together, if get job should focus on teaching youth the real way of obtaining education. Write some books and be an expert in some field that if Imam wants me, I could be of use to him. 5. Jahl is my worst enemy, he always comes with incites and leaves in humiliation. So, I remember it's nature to repel it.  6.I want to die in a momin and ask Allah that you know better what is good for me and easier for me. 7. Revolution is not Iranian or Iraqi. Revolution is Islamic and I am trying my best to minimize corruption and maximise morals, ethics and love. 8. Money is good as said by Prophet if one utilises it in a way that is meant for it. A portion of money is for our brothers in faith and Allah and a portion for us. Life is gift that we received without any service and it shows God is beneficent and gives without asking. Life is source of His love and Marifat.
