How Do I Gain Weight?

No matter how much i eat, my face my body never changes shape. PPl think i hve not had food for yrs.

So what should i do ?

Just for bg info.. like for the last 6months i ate alot and did nothing else/ nvr left home. but still i c no change. i want to be fat for once in agesss. But no luck :no:

I have the same issue, no matter how much I eat and whatever I eat (I gorge on cheese, chocolates, cakes, all high calorie content) I don't put on even half a kilogram.

No, you can't get fat. But it's not impossible. Why ? Because your body type is ectomorph. Ectomorphs is a body type where your metabolism is very high and so it makes it hard for you to gain weight. But as you age, your metabolism slows down. That's when it becomes easier to get fat.

Watch your diet and exercise daily. Drink plenty of water everyday and have a healthy and active lifestyle. It is better to eat healthy foods like vegetables and fruits than eating junk foods and process food. Natural is the best and safe for us.

It's depend on your genetic. Some of my family members are in this situation like you. One of them use some drugs prescribed by doctor. Now he has a big belly but nothing changes in face or other...

Well its a lot more complicated than the usual hearsay about fats deposition / gaining weight.

 

- It depends on your lifestyle. If you are, say, an automobile mechanic who does physical work a lot then it is difficult for you to put on weight as compared to say someone who's job is to sit behind a desk all day.

 

- There may be parasite infestation in your digestive system somewhere. A single tablet prescribed for this (Zentel) can take care of that usually. Otherwise account for the extra diet for the parasites too.

 

- To put on weight you have to have smaller more frequent meals which are rich in calories.

 

- Best that you talk to a experienced physician. They will give you a plan after running some tests perhaps, to keep you healthy and safe through the process.

Honestly, never go for a temporary change in diet. An unhealthy diet will make you fat but will also effect your health. If you can't gain fat, you'll most definitely gain muscle. Just have those protein shakes/bars, hit the gym and go crazy! Exercising will help you gain weight in muscle mass, help your brain release more serotonin (i.e. happier you), allow you to go out and about, make new friends and socialise :D it has win written all over it! :D

btw once you gain fat, if you lose it, it's very easy to regain. You can make new "fat" cells, but you can't get rid of them. They only shrink. So be careful what you wish for...
