Vaseline Helps Grow Your Eyebrows And Eyelashes !?

Rate this topic

Salam,

I have been researching how to grow thicker and longer eyebrows and many people have said that Vaseline works! Yh that's rite , the small cheap tub that nearly everyone has in their bedroom :) ! ... Now , I haven't tried this yet but I will tomorrow inshallah ... Have any of you tried it ? Does it Really work? The reason they say it works is because it has this "mineral oil" that "stimulates hair growth" apparently ....

Now , I already have kinda "bold" eyebrows , but I wouldn't mind if they were more long longer and perhaps a bit more thick ... If Vaseline really does give thicker eyebrows , can I add Vaseline above my already thickish hair?

And about the eyelashes ... And I'm sure this is important for all you sisters who use eye curler ... Apparently 99.9 percent , Vaseline is a secret way of making your eyelashes longer , and stronger ! I've read so many reviews and mostly all say it worked for them !

So yh I'll try it out and get back to you ... And tell me if petroleum Vaseline works for the eyebrows ... Don't give me an analysis without trying it out first .. :)

thanksss

w salam

I used to sometimes put vaseline on my eye lashes lol (I honestly don't know what was wrong with me)... about the eyebrows, I don't think any girl would appreciate having thick eyebrows ^_^

LOL no there's nothing wrong with you, it's said that Vaseline makes eyelashes longer .... Did that work for you? ... And btw girls with finely shaped thick eyebrows look healthy and beautiful but many don't realize :)

I've never used vaseline, but after occasionally moisturizing my whole face with coconut oil, I've noticed my lashes & brows have thickened. From what I hear, olive oil, castor oil, coconut oil, vaseline, etc. all appear to thicken lashes & brows because they condition and moisturize the hair, allowing it to grow for a longer period of time than usual before falling out.

Thx autumn :) did coconut oil help thicken your eyebrows a lot? ... Also what do you mean by "allowing it to grow for a longer period of time before falling out" .. Will your eyebrow hair fall off if u use Vaseline?

It doesnt actually make them grow....it just gives the illusion of thicker hair...

I use vaseline instead of mascara (just a tiny bit, so it dont go sticky!) and it really works, makes your eyelashes stronger, look thicker and protects them.

For actual growth of hair - castor oil is known to be good, as autumn suggested

I would think vaseline would be too greasy. I wouldn't suggest applying it on the lower lashes as it may cause your eye makeup to smear.

I've heard that applying mineral oil or coconut oil to the eyelashes before bed helps though. I've also heard about the Revitalash Eyelash Conditioner and am considering giving that a try.

You can even use Olive Oil or Castor Oil to have long beautiful lashes. It will eyelashes grow long and full fast...I have personally used it and it shows great results...

    • Brother, all Muslim women who don't observe Hijab know that it's Wajib. They all know that it's in Quran. Your approach should be changed. When I said be nice to her, I mean be super nice. For example, see what she likes to drink in the morning. Wake up early, GI to kitchen, make a perfect coffee or whatever and go to her room and give it to her. You should try hard. It's a Jihad. You can also peel fruit and give it to her during the day. She should feel that her brother is supportive and trustful first. I know you are good to her now, but for a big change like Hijab observation, you should try harder. When I was back in Iran, I used to do similar things for my mother, and it affects on the person. I made breakfast and gave it to my mum on her bed when she woke up. I didn't do that to ask my mum to do sth, I did that because I love my mum. I realized that women like it. After several months of supporting and being nice, you can gradually start talking about Hijab. That time you can be HOPEFUL to see some small changes in her dress style (maybe wearing long shorts or leggings instead of short ones). Regardless of whatever result you'll get, you did your effort and Jihad. If it's a small change, you should be proud of yourself.
    • 1. The narrations from Ahl albaayt AS indicate the permission of wearing black clothes in  month of Muharram  for the  mourning for Imam Hussein over the calamities  faced by him 2.  The views of ulema indicate that the black clothes are not permissible while praying. The simple question arises here does it mean that the praying during the month of Muharram with black clothes is Makrooh . haram? Similarly, if the Kaaba is clothed black in all does it mean that all the persons praying there have makrooh  prayers because of black Kaaba? would you please like to clarify? wasalam
    • See this http://holywatcher.narod.ru/iblis.pdf Very dangerous path.  They keep saying that Iblis did not prostrate because he did not want to worship other than Allah. However the Quran, and Iblis' response in the Quran is not so! Iblis says in the Quran that he did not prostrate because Adam a.s. was made of 'mud' ... in essence saying he is higher... or in other terminology known as 'Racism' and Arrogance.  So why and where on earth are these people forcing the image that Iblis acted out of love for God?? Completely absurd.  @Haydar Husayn
