LOL..don't worry. This is the right place to ask questions and Urdu is similar to Farsi so it's easy to learn Farsi if you know how to speak Urdu. Firstly, You left out the alif ( الف ) in this sentence so here's how it should be:

اگرکمک لازم داشتید من می تونم به شما فارسی یاد بدهم

Also, brother Mojtaba said If you need any help I can teach you Farsi. Komak = help, Important = Mohem or there's other ways to say it as well.

I thought surely she would become "ershad" and then she and Saeed would get married. That's how Iranian movies work.

I don't watch many Iranian movies, but here are some old ones that are good:

خلبان (Pilot)
(Lizard) مارمولک
لاکپشت ها هم پرواز می کنند (Turtles can Fly)

Here is a site where you can download Iranian movies and serials:

http://www.persianhub.org/

I don't have a TV, but I really like some of the Iranian serials and films. I often download from persianhub, but be aware it doesn't usually give english subtitles.

To add to the above post, here are some of the serials I enjoyed;

- All those about the holy personalties emam ali (as), yusofe payambar, maryam moqqadas (as)
- Rooze hasrat
- Miveye mamnooe
- Delnavaazaan
- Narges (this got really big in Iran)

Some classic films are range khoda and bachehaye asemaan

SalamAlaykum,

I am unsure as to what in particular you wish to learn. The following link is to a Pakistani forum which has simplistic and speedy one-by-one lessons on key Persian (Farsi) phrases and basic verb connections. If there is anything in particular you may refer to me as I do have knowledge of the language.

These two were really good serials. I loved them. The stories had a deep and powerful meaning behind them.

Salam alaykum,

The very best website to learn farsi, and that's the one I used for a while, is www.easypersian.com
It is very well explained, very well structured, and if you are serious, you will make quick progress.
Having some iranian friends or penpals also helps a great deal because you can learn the proper pronunciation.
Good luck, omidvaram be zoodi farsi yad begiri. B)

Arabic is more important than farsi, if u have such time learn Arabic so u can understand quran/hadiths. Farsi is a great language but Arabic is the best! :D
