You can have a look at these:

http://sistani.org/local.php?modules=nav&a...60&pid=3159

http://sistani.org/local.php?modules=nav&a...60&pid=3160

http://sistani.org/local.php?modules=nav&a...60&pid=3161

You can also ask a scholar who knows the details of fiqh. If you know Arabic you can refer to the books with more detailed rulings.

asalamailaikum.

Thankyou very much for the website you have given me. It was very useful.

I almost got all the details except for the answer, whether a step grandfather can be considered as false grandfather and whether he will inherit the granddaughters property if she dies/

    • ^ That is what I was getting at, brother. The way the OP described his  sister sounds like that situation. It is more wajib and therefore more responsibility on the parents than it is on the brother, they have more rights over their daughter than the OP has over his sister. I wasn't trying to say that we should ignore enjoining good and forbidding evil; It may very well be that the parents are very aware of the situation, more so than the OP and have a solution.
