Selam alaycom,

Um Hassan, he isn't married yet.... so if you have any candidates to nominate, feel free. Please note that he has obsessive compulsive hand washing disorder though. Neat and clean shia hejabi applicants only. :D

Peace,

Um Ali

Kenapa :o :o :o? kita main-main sahaja.

anyway, just wanna ask again, are there malay shias in Perth? We are thinking of moving there. Melbourne is too cold for hubby. Perth is said to be nice and warm and friendly (to asians). would appreciate your feedback, bro Aba.

jazakallah khair.

Selam alaycom,

Um Hasan: your mission was to get all of your housework done... was it accomplished? Atleast in Perth the laundry will dry nicely. :P

Peace,

Um Ali

(salam)

Sis Um Ali, that's Mission Impossible!

Sis Um Ali (and others)-you have to type one malay word every time you post in this forum (it's a mod requirement :D )

some helping words:

kita=we

main-main=play/joke

sahaja=only

Apa Khabar?= How are you? (literal translation=what's the news )

Selamat datang = welcome.

jangan marah= don't be angry

kenapa?= why?

terima kasih = thank you (literal translation is ' receive love/affection')

i have not met one shia malay or singaporian or indonesian..lol

There goes my hope of finding a malay shia for my daughter. I guess i have to import one from overseas! :D

Itulah Sarah..umhasan sudah make suggestion..at least a malay word must appear in the posting :)

u know what? we could be posting any thing in Malay and no moderator will know what we are talking about :!!!:

anyway ..the ruling here: one malay word must appear in the post..do u all agree? :)

terimakasih.

p.s what is the equivalent of the word 'peace'(the way Um Ali signed off) in Malay? aman?tenteram?

Mannu hon = He's not here..lol

(salam)

LOL.

Did you hear the joke about the man from Jordan who went to Beirut? He went to a house and ask for Mr. A. The voice from inside the house said "mannu hon". The man from Jordan said, ok then let me speak to "mannu". LOL.

Orang dari Beirut kelakar.

(People from Beirut are funny)

Orang = People

Dari = from

Funny = Kelakar / Lawak

Dik Sarah,

have 2 malay words Durian and Banyak in previous 'benang'

Yes, saya akan terbang ke Brunei weekend nie sampai le next week Friday. Saje je jalan2 makan angin. And i akan tinggal at Empire Hotel (six star hotel, not five!!) Care 2 know about hotel 6 star nie? then check dalam internet. Nak tahu lagi tak? kita fly royal brunei first class lagi!

buat dosa kering je, bongkak betul.

actually i hv to do business presentation, anyway my company pays everything, and apalagi as usual top management must fly business/first class. that is the best part.

kesian adik sarah, still bebudak sekolah lagi. dah tu pi belajar.

    • Salaam Alaykum When I was back home, I thought my dad is abusive. He made me cry at 2 am by creating a family fight. That time I was 7 years old. A 7 years old boy was crying at 2 am. A 7 years old was in the middle of family problem with a HUGE amount of stress. Now I gained the freedom that you are seeking. Now after living seven years away from my dad, I just want to see my same dad and kiss his feet and hands for his effort on raising me. He never let me grow up on street, he supported me financially. I'm grateful for that. I wish I could squeeze his hands one more time. When I have stress and pressure, I need my dad support. To the OP: you're dad is a good man. One time with all of those restrictions that you have, just sit down and have a tee and biscuits with him and enjoy.
    • It does not look pretty. They freak me out. Wear an aqeeq and call it a day please!
    • Salaam First part: what's that?  Second part: no I wear aqeeq, dur e Najaaf, feroz, yaqoot. I also have the threads we touch the zaris with in ziyarat.
    • Everyhing is instant now a days  Fine....
    • One muslim asked me that why we do latmiyah and cry, so I told because of mourning the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (saws) martyrdom, then he answer: "So you beat yourselves to this day for that reason.. Really.." And that's how it saddens to hear how the hearth have become so blind, that nothing but insulting the 'Aali Muhammad.
