  1. Prophet Muhmmad (PBUH) & Aisha Nikah

Salam to all! Can someone please help me clarify the age of Aisha during Nikah ceremony with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)?
  2. (salam) (bismillah) A NICE HADITH: Intercession on Day of Judgment The Holy Prophet (pbuh) (said to Hazrat-e Fatemeh): On the Day of Judgment, you shall intercede for the ladies and I shall intercede for the men; every person who has wept over the tragedy of Husayn (as), we shall take him by the hand and lead him into Paradise. Bihar al‑Anwar vol. 94 pg. 192,
  3. 1. The Prophet saww closed all the doors opening in the mosques except that of Imam Ali AS. The following hadith describe this closing of doors: Zaid b. Arqam narrates – Some companions had a path through the mosques one day the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said – Close all the doors except that of Ali. Zaid says that people [the companions whom we are told would accept any order of the Prophet (s.a.w.a.)] started speaking (against the order). Thus, the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) stood up and praised Allah and said – I have ordered to close all the doors except the door of Ali, by Allah! I have not closed anything nor opened but I have been ordered to do so and I obeyed. i. Musnad-o-Ahmad vol. 4, p. 329, tradition 19,502 – Imam Ahmed b. Hanbal is one of the four Sunni Imams of jurisprudence ii. Sunan-e-Kubra of Nesaai one of the authors of Sihah-e-Sittah (vol. 7, p. 422, tradition 8,369 & later edition vol. 5, p. 118, tradition 8,423) iii. Al Bedaya wa al-Nehaya of Ibn Kathir, vol. 5 p. 456 – he was a student of Ibn Taymiyyah who has rejected this tradition as a Shiite fabrication iv. Haakim in Mustadrak alaa al-Sahihain (vol. 3, p. 125, tradition 4,688) records that this report is with correct chain of narrators (Sahih al-sanad). v. Zahabi in his Talkhees al-Mustadrak records that the report is Sahih vi. Fadhail al-Sahaabah vol. 2 p. 618-620/985 vii. Majma al-Zawaaid vol. 9 p. 114 tradition 14,671 viii. Riyaaz al-Nazarah vol. 4 p.136 2- The hadith in sunni books mention Imam Ali as ordinary person, The detailed analysis on the subject in the light of verses of Quran and hadiths of the prophet saww reveal that such hadith are fabricated by Ummayad and their followers just to degrade the image and status of Imam Ali AS and Ahl al bayat AS. The detail can be seen at the given link: 4. The verses of quran and hadith indicate that Imam Ali is Sideeq Akbar. The confirmation of the fact comes by the sayings of the prophet Muhammad saw by the following hadith: In: "Sun'an Ibn Maj'ah (سنن ابن ماجة)", By: Muhammad bin Yaz'eed Al-Qazwini Abu abdullah Bin Maj'ah (محمد بن يزيد القزويني أبو عبد الله ابن ماجة), Investigated by: Muhammad Fo'a'ad Ab'd Al-Baqi (محمد فؤاد عبد الباقي): Association: Da'ar I'h'ya Al-Kutub Al-I,miyah (دار إحياء الكتب العربية), volume #1, Page# 44, Narration# 120: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَلِيٌّ: «أَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَأَخُو رَسُولِهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَنَا الصِّدِّيقُ الْأَكْبَرُ، لَا يَقُولُهَا بَعْدِي إِلَّا كَذَّابٌ، صَلَّيْتُ قَبْلَ النَّاسِ لِسَبْعِ سِنِينَ Told us Muhammad bin Isma'ail Al-Razi, said: told us Ubaidullah bin Musa said: informed us Al-Ala'a bin Sal'eh, from Al-Munhil, from Ab'ad bin Abdullah said: Said Ali (a.s): "I am the servant of Allah and the brother of his Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, and I am the greatest truthful (righteous) (Sideeq Al-Akbar), and no one says it after me, except a liar. I preformed Salat before the people for seven years." In Al-Zawa'id, this is an Authentic (Sahih) Isn'aad/chain, and its men are trustworthy (thiqa'at). Narrated it Al-Hakim in his Mustadrak from Al-Mun'haal, and said: Authentic on the guidelines of Bukhari And Muslim. Thus confirming no one is Sideeq Akbar except Imam Ali AS. The following link describes the details based on the verses of Quran and hadith. 5.The reasons for the door of Imam Ali kept open in the mosque and other doors were closed are enforced by the hadith of the prophet saww as given below: a) The Prophet said, "The verse of purification was revealed concerning five people: myself, ALI, Hassan, Hussein, and Fatima." (Is'af Al-Raghibeen, p. 116; Sahih Muslim, Kitab Fada'il Al-Sahaba) b) The Prophet said, “The carrier of my flag in this life and the Hereafter is ALI.” (Kanz Al-Umal, 6/122; Al-Tabari, 2/201; Al-Khawarizmi, 250; Al-Fada’il of Ahmad, 253; Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 42/200) c) The Prophet said, “Every prophet has an executor and inheritor, and my executor and inheritor is ALI.” (Kanz Al-Umal, 6/158; Tarikh Baghdad of Al-Khateeb Al-Baghdadi, 11/173; Shawahid Al-Tanzil, 2/223; Yanabi' Al-Mawda, 94) a) The Prophet said, “We were created from the same tree, I and ALI .” (Al-Tirmidhi, 13/178; Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 122; Asad Al-Ghaba, 4/26; Al-Riyadh Al-Nudhra, 2/216) b) The Prophet said, “The most knowledgeable person in my nation after me is ALI .” (Manaqib Al-Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib of Ibn Al-Maghazeli Al-Shafi'i.) c) The Prophet said, “The first of you to reach the Pond is the first of you who accepted Islam: ALI.” (Kenz Al-Omal, 6/154; Al-Tabarani, 5/32; Al-Riyadh Al-Nudhra, 1/165; Dhaka’ir Al-'Aqil, 65; Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 230) d) The Prophet said, “No one is permitted on the Bridge except by the sainthood of ALI .” (Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 15; Al-Isti'ab, 2/457) e) The Prophet said, “There is a tree in Paradise called Tuba. Its roots are in the house of ALI, and its branches are ALI .” (Mustadrak Al-Sahihain of Al-Hakim Al-Nisabori, 3/109; Musnad Ahmad, 4/370; Al-Khasa’is of Al-Nisa’i, 25; Al-Tirmidhi; Al-Tabarani.) f) The Prophet said, “ALI is the distinguisher between truth and falsehood.” (Mustadrak Al-Sahihain of Al-Hakim Al-Nisabori, 3/132; Musnad Ahmad, 1/331; Yanabi' Al-Mawda, 92) g) The Prophet said, “The most righteous one is ALI .” (Al-Bayhaqi, 4/35; Kenz Al-Omal, 7/176; Al-Jami' of Al-Suyuti, 2/276; Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 93) h) The Prophet said, “The hand of ALI and my hand are equal in justice.” (Mustadrak Al-Sahihain of Al-Hakim Al-Nisabori, 3/14; Al-Tabari, 2/272; Al-Tirmidhi, 2/299; Ibn Al-Maghazali) i) The Prophet said, “ALI is my brother in this life and the Hereafter.” (Al-Khasa’is of Al-Nisa’i, 5; Al- Tirmidhi; Yanabi^ Al-Mawda, 61; Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 37; Yanabi' Al-Mawda, 57) j) The Prophet said, “ALI is to me what Harun was to Musa.” (Mustadrak Al-Sahihain of Al-Hakim Al- Nisabori, 3/137; Ibn Al-Maghazali, 65, 104; Al-Tabarani; HAliyat Al-Awliya’, 1/63; Akhtab Khawarizm, 229) k) The Prophet said, “ALI holds a right over this nation like the right of a father over his son.” (Muslim, 2/361; Al-Tirmidhi, 2/299; Al-Hakim, 3/130; Musnad Ahmad, 3/198; Al-Nisa’i, 7; Asad Al-Ghaba, 3/40) l) The Prophet said, “ALI is with the Qur’an, and the Qur’an is with Ali.” (Al-Bukhari, 5/19; Muslim, 2/360; Al-Tirmidhi, 5/304; Mustadrak Al-Sahihain of Al-Hakim Al-Nisabori, 3/109; Ibn Majah, 1/28; Musnad Ahmad, 3/328) m) The Prophet said, “Love for ALI is faith, and hatred for Ali is hypocrisy.” (Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 67; Al-Khawarizmi, 236; Fara’id Al-Samateen; Yanabi' Al-Mawda) n) The Prophet said, “The position of ALI amongst the people is like Surat Ikhlas in the Qur’an.” (Muslim, 1/48; Al-Tirmidhi, 2/299; Al-Nisa’i, 27; Musnad Ahmad, 6/299; Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 191) o) The Prophet said, “ALI is the beloved between two friends, myself and Ibrahim.” (Yanabi' Al-Mawda, 88; Fara’id Al-Samatin; Al-Abrar; Moniq Ibn Ahmad Al-Khawarizmi) p) The Prophet said, “Whoever splits with ALI has split with me, and whoever splits with me has split with God.” (Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 45; Yanabi' Al-Mawda, 181) q) The Prophet said, “ALI is from me and I am from him, and he is the protector of every true believer after me.” (Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 69; Yanabi' Al-Mawda, 125) r) The Prophet said, “ALI is the most beloved of God and His Prophet in all of creation.” (Kanz Al-Umal, 5/33; Al-Riyadh Al-Nudhra, 2/211; Ibn Al-Maghazali, 219) s) The Prophet said, “Mentioning ALI is a form of worship, and looking upon him is a form of worship.” (Mustadrak Al-Sahihain of Al-Hakim Al-Nisapuri, 3/123; Kenz Al-Omal, 6/156; Al-Tabarani; Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 240, 278; Al-Khawarizmi, 62) t) The Prophet said, “ALI stands in relation to me as my head to my body.” (Mustadrak Al-Sahihain of Al-Hakim Al-Nisabori, 3/141; Al-Jami^ of Al-Suyuti, 1/583; Tarikh Baghdad of Al-Khateeb Al-Baghdadi, 1/51; Hiliyat Al-Awliya’, 1/182; Al-Riyadh Al-Nudhra, 2/219) 6- The Prophet said, “ALI is the door of servitude, and whoever passes through that door is a true believer.” (Mustadrak Al-Sahihain of Al-Hakim Al-Nisabori; Kanz Al-Umal, 6/156; Al-Dilmi) 7- The Prophet said, “ALI is the door of my knowledge, and the one who will clarifies for my nation that which I was sent with.” (Tafsir Al-Tabari, 3/171; Shawahid Al-Tanzil, 2/356; Al-Darr Al-Manthour, 6/379; Yanabi' Al-Mawda, 61) Thus it is well proven that the Prophet saww never closed the Door leading to him. It also confirms that all the doors were closed except the Door of Imam Ali AS to the mosque.
  4. Rahab 27 - 28.docx
  5. Hi, I'm at a struggle with this one. Any insight would help immensely. So, I have read that she was one of the wives of our prophet who bore him a child, Ibrahim, who passed away in his infant years. So I suppose it's a reason why she was considered highly from amongst all his other wives at the time. A fellow mominah asked me regarding her interference between Hafsa bin Umar and our Prophet, for which Surah Tahrim speaks of where he vowed to stop himself from all contact with Maria Al-Qibtiyya to please Hafsa bin Umar? can someone pls shed some light on this? TLDR: prophet spent night with one wife on the day he was supposed to spend it with Hafsa bin Umar, did he act fairly/equally/justly? I'll be honest, I'm stuck Coz the mominah that asked me this doesn't seem to follow normal logic(well I hope mine is normal)
  6. Islamic Quotes

Quotes By Imam Ali: "The moment you start arguing with an ignorant fool, you have already lost." "Do not be a slave to others when Allah has created you free." "Beautiful people are not always good, but good people are always beautiful." Quotes by Prophet Muhammad: "The strongest among you is the one who controls his anger." "There is no beauty better than intellect." "When you are angry, be silent." "Hussain is from me and I am from Hussain." Quotes by Imam Hussain: "It is better to die on your feet, than to live on your knees." "The most merciful person is the one who forgives when he is able to take revenge." "If you never believe in religion nor fear the hereafter, then at least be free from Tyranny and Arrogance."
  7. Salaam, [Shakir 17:1] Glory be to Him Who made His servant to go on a night from the Sacred Mosque to the remote mosque of which We have blessed the precincts, so that We may show to him some of Our signs; surely He is the Hearing, the Seeing [Shakir 53:13] And certainly he saw him in another descent,[Shakir 53:14] At the farthest lote-tree;[Shakir 53:15] Near which is the garden, the place to be resorted to.[Shakir 53:16] When that which covers covered the lote-tree;[Shakir 53:17] The eye did not turn aside, nor did it exceed the limit.[Shakir 53:18] Certainly he saw of the greatest signs of his Lord.. So we got into a philosophical discussion about meraj over the weekend. A teenager asked the question that if Allah is everywhere, why the need to call the Prophet to the edge of creation - Lote-Tree (Sidrat Al-Muntaha). Shia belief is that it was a spiritual and physical journey. The reason was not to meet Allah but see his ceation (show our signs). What did the Prophet see? What did the Prophet do?
  8. The purpose of the thread is to analyze the differences between Sahabi / companions of the prophet saww and the members of the Ahl albayat in academic manner. Few are outlined below: 1- The members of the Ahl albayat of the prophet saww are covered by the prophet under the cloak / kissa. while no companion / sahabi can come under it 2. The members of Ahl albayat are taken alone by the prophet saww in Mubahila against the Christians and no companion / sahabi can come with the prophet for such representation 3. The members of Ahl albayat are never separated from quran but the companions / sahabi do not have such affiliation with the quran 4. The members of Ahl albayt alone can come at the back of the prophet in his prayer and companion / sahabi remain in their prayer behind the prophet saww as their Imam. ......Many more. Wasalam
  9. Hi. This is my second asking here. As the political topic was controversially I expect this topic not be. I am just trying to learn. Is about the difference between Prophet and Imam. As you know sunni tradition take the difference just in a social and political sense. But I read in Henry Corbins' works, and some shia's works, that shiism have a metaphysical view about that. Of course this topic overcomes rational knowledge, but within my limits I would like understand something. Some sufis, like sheij Al Akbar Ibn Arabi, talk about Prophet Muhammad as pure divine light (nur muhammadiyna) which in our world appears as the individual known as Muhammad, but in this essence is not a mere individual. Is not just an historical figure. I saw something similar in shia tradition about Ali. So, from my point of view if we try to overcome the individual and historical understanding about Muhammad and Ali, we can not means them as two individuals. Their difference is not like difference among common people as John and Matheu or Sayd and Samid. Then, it seem like the sufi's view and shia view are the same, or at leas very similar. So, why the status of Muhammad and Ali became a controversial topic? Which is the best source (translated into european language) for to study that? can you recommend me something? Thank you very much. Be well
  10. Shajra Tayyaba

  11. In the upcoming weeks I will be attending a sunday service where we will have a public speaker come and give the word, and this lady goes by the title of Prophet. My question is, could someone help me understand on how the Christian faith coin the term 'Prophet' ; what does it mean? How can we have modern day prophets--- what is the necessity of modern day prophets if we maintain the belief that Jesus was also a prophet. Furthermore, how do some Christians assert that Muhammad was not a prophet when they believe in prophets that come after Jesus? (what is the criteria of being a prophet?) proph·et ˈpräfət/ noun noun: prophet; plural noun: prophets; plural noun: Prophets; plural noun: the Prophets 1. a person regarded as an inspired teacher or proclaimer of the will of God. "the Old Testament prophet Jeremiah" synonyms: seer, soothsayer, fortune teller, clairvoyant, diviner; More 2. (in Christian use) the books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, and the twelve minor prophets. (in Jewish use) one of the three canonical divisions of the Hebrew Bible, distinguished from the Law and the Hagiographa, and comprising the books of Joshua, Judges, Samuel, Kings, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Isaiah, and the twelve minor prophets. Also, I was wondering if I could get some explanations or commentaries on these 3 verses, 2 Corinthians 11:13-15New International Version (NIV) 13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.
  12. Cursing The Sahaba...

Why do shia curse the sahaba's of the Holy prophet Mohammad?? Sometimes i hear this when i listen to lectures by high shia scholars. So if you any can answer this question that would help :) thank you
  13. Nabuwah and Imamah

Question. What is the difference between Nabuwah and Imamah (Prophets and Imams) in terms of characteristics and Qualities? As there are many narrations in primary shia hadith books which are creating serious doubts. For e.g the following narration says like Messengers and Prophets, Aimah also receive revelations through angel Jibrail, with the only difference being Aimah only hear from Jibrail without seeing him. Here is one more confusing statement from Allama Majlisi.

  15. why? And why is this not mentioned in the Quran?
  16. Brother and sisters, I have a question today on the shrines/tombs over graves. Were there any graves or tombs at the time of Holy Prophet ? As salafis say that if shrines would have been allowed Prophet Muhammad would have build the shrine over the grave of Hazrat Hamza (a.s) and I have also heard them saying that he did not allow to build shrine over the grave of Seyeda Khadija (a.s). Is it true ? If yes why ? If no, is there any source ? Some extra proofs proving the construction of Shrines over graves permissible from their sources will be appreciated NOTE : I POST QUESTIONS LIKE THIS BECAUSE I JUST WANT TO PROVE THEM WRONG AND ALSO TO PROVE MY BELIEFS RIGHT FROM NON SHIA SOURCES
  17. Salam all, I hope these couple of questions can be answered by people from the 4 sheikh schools of thought, especially Hanafi: If a member of Ahlul Sunna stops following or believing in any of the first 3 caliphs, is that person still considered a muslim? Also, if a member of Ahlul Sunna stops following or believeing in Imam Ali or Sayeda Fatima, is that person still considered a muslim? I need to know the opinions of the general sunnis on these questions because the shia position is clear, however, I am lacking knowledge on the sunni opinion.
  18. Questions for all Muslims

Please mention it. 3. What is the criterion of selection / appointment of the caliph / leaders / imams other than prophet mentioned in quran? (by Allah swt or by the people)? 4. The purpose of the thread is not a discussion but the just an academic point of view to compare the answers of the questions asked. The answers will provide a good comparison for the truth. A final conclusion can be mentioned on the basis of these answers after a suitable time (like 2 week) after start of this thread. All Shia and Sunni friends are welcome to send the answers to these questions. Wasalam
  19. Sincere Questions for our Shi’a brethren 1. Imamat for Imamiya Ithna Ashari Shi’as is considered as Usul e Deen and in maqam and position it is considered greater than Nabuwwah or atleast equal to Nabuwwah. We would like to ask you that how has this Usul e Deen not stated in Quran al Kerim. Allah Almighty time and again tells us to Believe in Allah and the Ambiyaa in Kutub wa Suhuf e Ambiyaa a.s, in Maa’d in Jannah in Jahannam in Meezan in Malak and many other important matters. But no where in the whole Quran al Kerim are we commanded or told to Believe in Imams or the understanding of “Imamat” is not in line with Quranic dawah. How can an Usul e Deen be established when it finds no mention in the Quran al Kerim? 2. Imam ‘Ali a.s did not consider the rebels of Shaam as Kuffar for they did not believe in the Imamah/Khilafah of Amirul Momineen and also those who did not accept Imamah of Imam al Hasan a.s were not unbelievers. So does a disbelief in any Usul e Deen imply Kufr and if not then please give us your definition of what “Usul e Deen “ is. 3. In Nahjul Balagha we do not find any support for the Shi’a concept of Imamah raher on contrary maters of Imamah wal Khilafah were considered as per consensus of Muhajireen wal Ansaar and at many places Imam ‘Ali himself stated that people have no option but to have an Amir be it good or bad. A sincere study of Nahjul Balagha will prove that the understanding of Imamah which was later developed by Shi’a was not the Manhaj and belief of Salaf e Saliheen and is a later innovation. 4. Is Khilafah of Imam ‘Ali a.s mansoos MinAllah if yes then how can Imam be ready for arbitration to chose a Caliph whereas this mansab is from Allah Almighty and not men. This amal of Imam Ali and also of Imam Hasan a.s proves that Khilafah is not Mansoos MinAllah in the sense the shi’a believe it btu rather as per the agreed upon choice of the best of Muslims of their time and that decision is condiered Mansoos MinAllah. 5. We would like to ask the Shi’a that whether the Promise of Allah Almighty in Surah Nur to give Khilafah and then peace and security to the Muslims , whether this promised has been fulfilled or we wait for time of Imam al Mahdi a.s for this to be fulfilled. In Nahjul Balagha the advises and words of Imam ‘Ali a.s to Hazrat ‘Umar r.a is a shining proof that Imam referred to a promise from Allah in terms of victories of Muslims over Kaiser wal Kisra. And referred to Khalifa as string for the beads. And many others words of wisdom from ‘Amir a.s are shining proof that Salaf e Saliheen understood Khilafat e Rashida r.a as fulfilling this promise of Allah for khilafah to Muslims . 6. Tahrif e Quran: The shi’a state that it is foundational belief of Shi’a Imamiya that there is not a Tahrif of a single Alif or a letter and it is present with us as it was before pure and in original form. Shaykh Saduq, Shaykh Tusi, Sharif Murtaza, Ayatullah Khoei and others are all unianimous on it. We have to give them the credit of trying to educate the Juhalaa among the Shi’a but we ask the Shi’a that do they consider those who believe in Tahrif of Quran al Kerim as Muslims anymore or Kuffar. However it is saddening that the shi’a do not do so as Al-Majlisi, Tabrisi, Qummi and Al-Mufid and others believe in Tahrif e Quran and yet the shia still looka t these scholars as leaders of guidance. Clearly this is a sign of their dishonest and hypocritical stand! Any sane and sincere looker can see through this fallacy and deception. I really believe that because of the stance of Shi’a towards Quran al Kerim they have produced very very scarce and few Huffaz and even they cannot meet the caliber of the Huffaz from Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaah. The urge and great love for Tilawah and organizing the study of Quran al kerim and to do Hifz is found in Ahle Sunnah and not in shi’a and the reason is centuries of their Aqaaed of Tahrif e Quran and doubts over its being in original form and also in their notion that it is not present in the Tartib ‘Ali a.s had compiled. But now in Iran a lot of people are arising from this deception the late Ayatullah Tabatabai felt this big gap and hence produced a Tafsir known as Tafsir al Mizan. 7. Sahaba: In Quran al kerim, Nahjul Balagha, Sahifah e Sjaadiya if we look at the understanding of Sahaba then only way of Ahle Sunnah wal Jamaah is in line with Quran al Kerim and Nahjul Balagha and Sahifah e Imam Ali bin al Hussain. The fact that their praise in mentioned in Quran al Kerim and authentic ahadith is enough a proof for the Fazilat e Sahaba e Kiraam. The Shi’a never attack the companions of Imams and it seems from their ways that they honor ‘Ali a.s more than Rasoolallah saws as they do not realise the branches are not like the root. And the Adab and love of Rasoolallah Saws would have demanded from them to keep their tongues shut in matters of Sahaba e Kiraam and realized that they had believed and occumpanied Nabi e Akhiruzamaan saws and fought for Islam and laid their lives and wealth for the cause of Islam and spread the Word of Tawhid across the world. This is the reason that we find less love for Quran al Kerim, Implementing Sunnah and Jihad in the Shi’a as Sahaba e Kiraam are the real Pioneers in them and this Deen spread through them. This is why very few books on Seerah and few Naat khaawn were found among the Shi’a. This is why their hearts do not Brim with Zikr e Mustafa (Saws) like you find with Ahle Sunnah. Their support of Yahud wal Nasara and despising Jihad and how Allah Almighty has always strengthened Borders of Islam through followers of Sahaba e Kiraam and Ahle Sunnah wal Jamaah is another shining proof of the Shia being on misguidance. We will only focus on Usul. I fail to understand how can the reports of Holy Prophet Saws be relied upon unless we do not remove the shi’a way of thinking. In terms of Ilm e Rijaal and science of Hadith Shi’a cannot match the hardwork and knowledge base of Ahle Sunnah wal Jamaah. The foundation of Shia thought process is very weak but that of Ahle Sunnah is like steel so on what should one base his/her Aqaaed. Taqqiyah, Rajat and Badaa all these aqaaed are indeed not in line with understanding of the Quran al Kerim by the Salaf e Saliheen and hence are later innovations of the Shi’a. We seek sincere answers of the Shi’a to these questions of ours and ask them that is not their line of thinking actually trying to paint a very negative picture of First Muslims and What hope does his generation or many others have in a revolution and change and Tazkiyaa wa Tasfiyaa if he Greatest of all Teachers Nabi e Akhiruzamaan Saws could not bring such a change only handful of Muslims remained true to their belief and then their belief of Imamat and Taqqiyah . I believe these are genuine questions every shia should ponder over and Allah has power over all things and He alone is Al-Hadi
  20. Salaamaulaykum, brothers and sisters i am a below knee amputee , lost my leg six years ago in a road accident. I am completely independent, do daily tasks just like normal person. Just completed by undergrad and now I am going to United States for my masters . It's been a year, since I broke up with the love of my life, whom I loved from the most deepest region of my heart, towards whom while looking, no matter how many chaotic situations I was circumscribed by ,when I looked at her, was always at ease. During our relationship, I never touched her, you know what I mean to say...no physical or haram contact...just respected and loved her just the way she admired and followed Islam. I thought , she was the one, but all of a sudden everything just changed, her mother came to know about my scenario, that I was a handicap, although I use one of the best artificial limb, imported from germany, I can run too and it's hard for anyone to recognize that I use an artificial limb. Her mother started looking for marriage proposals for her..and I remember it was my birthday she texted me "Good luck for everything" and that was the worst day of my life. I asked her why, and their was just a pin drop silence on the other side..believe me the pain of losing the limb was nothing in front of this one, what I felt at that very instant..The reason her silence indicated that "I was a handicap or disabled person"...I just retracted myself because the reason was like..Her mother could have said something else like any other reason but she just remained silent and believe me ,if the reason was other than "being disabled" .. I could have said to her mother that "Ok give me some time, I'll be the man , whom you would like to offer your daughter to " . But In my scenario even if I had the extra time , It was impossible for me to get the thing back , I lost long ago. Every morning I woke up, the very first thought is this one only and tears come off my eyes. I used to play guitar, sing . Now I have just given up on singing and guitar. I read Quran translation nowdays, but whenever I think of falling in love with someone or marrying someone, my soul gets dilapidated and all I have found is just peace in the recitation of quran and offering salah, previously I was a gregarious person and now I have transformed myself into a brutally conserved one. And I dream of a place now, where people like me are not considered as something as an ostracized element of the society. And when I think of falling in love or marrying someone , thinking about ""the story of Julaybib, one of the contemporaries of the Prophet, is another vivid example of inclusion. In addition to being poor, Julaybib had an unpleasant physical appearance and nobody wished to let their daughter marry him. Upon the Prophet’s request, a noble family gave him their daughter in marriage."" I say to myself that only prophet can reduce the pain i am going through... I told you my story, Now I was to ask, that ""people like me are not considered for marriage"" you can assume the reason according to my past encounters... I know it's haram to go in a relationship before marriage in islam....Is it permissible for peple like me to have a relationship before marriage resulting in love marriage.. you know the reason..when people will hear about my disability they would just say "NO" ..hence the question ".Is it permissible for me to have a relationship before marriage resulting in love marriage "?????
  21. Why Prophet was exempted from the dividing the time among wives ? Some opponents of Islam say that the Quran is not from God because there is some verses that talk about personal life of prophet that is not related to Islam and Muslims. (Al-Ahzab.51) "You may put off whichever of them you wish and consort with whichever of them you wish, and there is no sin upon you [in receiving again] any [of them] whom you may seek [to consort with] from among those you have set aside [earlier]. That makes it likelier that they will be comforted and not feel unhappy, and all of them will be pleased with what you give them. Allah knows what is in your hearts, and Allah is all-knowing, all-forbearing." Actually , the social life of the Prophet was so busy and nearly any month has been imposed a war on him.. In addition, the responsibility of education and training people and resolving conflicts of people and fighting against hypocrites and guiding Islamic nation was upon the prophet (SAWA) So if he wanted to take the time to divide among women could not do the great responsibilities , And the prophet's life should be relaxed to perform its responsibilities without concern with peace of mind. And this is mentioned in the Quran to Muslims know this decision is only for the Prophet not others.. Also if Quran did not exempt the Prophet and the Prophet could not divided time in difficult conditions the Prophet lost the people's trust and hypocritical accused the Prophet that he introduces himself as an example, while deal with it's wives in injustice way! Therefore because of prevent this misunderstanding this verse came in the Quran. In addition, we know that the Prophet, even in the final days of life were divided time between women fairly.
  22. I was watching Sayed Ammar's recent lectures and he brought up an interesting point about the prophecy of Muhammed in the OT and NT. To our fellow christian members I was wondering if you guys can break down these bible verses to me: Deuteronomy 18:18 18I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. 19 He uses this verse in the bible to show how Moses was actually, by his wording, mentioning the Prophet Muhammed (as) in this verse ( I believe that christians use this to say Moses was actually mentioning Jesus Christ here). What do you guys think? then he uses this verse, the interesting part Luke 7:28 28I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John, yet even the least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.” He uses this by saying that-- This was Jesus talking about John the Baptist ( prophet Yahya (as) ) and Jesus explicitly says that there is no greater man then john, however in Matthew 3:11-12, John says 11“As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12“His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear His threshing floor; and He will gather His wheat into the barn, but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” Who is John referring to? The problem is , is that John can't be referring to Jesus because Jesus already confirmed the presence of John with Luke 7:28, and not only that but giving him the greatest compliment, so John could have just used word's like ' Lord' or 'Jesus' or even' Son of Man' or 'Son of God' if he was referring to Jesus, but he kept it at future tense, where Jesus was already present. Who is John referring to here? John seems to revere this man to the point where he uses an analogy of not being able to touch the sandals of this man to show how great his status is.
  23. Ghadeer - Meaning of Mawla

Ghadeer - Meaning of Mawla: Then the Messenger of Allah continued: "Do I not have more right over the believers than what they have over themselves?”People cried and answered: "Yes, O’ Messenger of God.”Then Prophet (S) held up the hand of ‘Ali and said: "Whoever I am his Mawla, ‘Ali is his Mawla. O’ God, love those who love him, and be hostile to those who are hostile to him." First we should look the prophet has what characteristics being Mawla of believers in order to derive its real meaning for the Imam Ali? The Prophet is Mawla of believers; First I make this clear that he prophet is the seal of the prophets and there is no prophet after him. Ye have indeed in the Apostle of Allah a beautiful pattern of (conduct) for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day and who engages much in the praise of Allah. (33:21) But he has declared himself Mawla of the believers, so that we should find specific characteristics attributed to him in relation to the believers قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ ٱللَّهَ فَٱتَّبِعُونِى يُحْبِبْكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ ٣١} : Say: "If ye do love Allah follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins for Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful." But if they turn away, indeed Allah does not like the faithless. 008:020 O you who have faith! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and do not render your works void. 003:132 and obey Allah and the Messenger so that you may be granted [His] mercy. 005:092 And obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and beware; but if you turn your backs, then know that Our Messenger’s duty is only to communicate in clear terms. 008:046 And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not dispute, or you will lose heart and your power will be gone. And be patient; indeed Allah is with the patient. 064:012 Obey Allah and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away, then Our Messenger’s duty is only to communicate in clear terms. 049:001 O you who have faith! Do not venture ahead of Allah and His Messenger, and be wary of Allah. Indeed Allah is all-hearing, all-knowing. Similarly for imam Ali being Mawla: “Obey Allah and messenger” / (who is also mawla). So obeying the Mawla is mandatory. Thus confirms that the meaning of Mawala as given in Ghaderr narration is leader who is to be followed/Obeyed, like for the prophet who is also Mawla of believers. Thus confirming that Imaam Ali is Mawla of believers and he is the leader after the prophet and he should be obeyed with the same authority as that of the prophet on believers. Hadith Manzlia: The Messenger of Allah said to ‘Ali: "Your position to me is like the position of Aaron (Haroon) to Moses, except that there shall be no Prophet after me" أنتَ مني بمنزلة هارون من موسى إلا إنَّهُ لا نبيَّ بعدي Sunni References: (1) Sahih al-Bukhari, Arabic-English version, Traditions 5.56, 5.700 (2) Sahih Muslim, Arabic, v4, pp 1870-71 (3) Sunan Ibn Majah, p12 (4) Musnad Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, v1, p174 (5) al-Khasa’is, by al-Nisa’i, pp 15-16 (6) Mushkil al-Athar, by al-Tahawi, v2, p309 The hadith is recorded in two Sahiheen. It is graded as Sahih: by many sunni scholars., وَلَقَدْ قَالَ لَهُمْ هَٰرُونُ مِن قَبْلُ يَٰقَوْمِ إِنَّمَا فُتِنتُم بِهِۦ ۖ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ فَٱتَّبِعُونِى وَأَطِيعُوٓا۟ أَمْرِى {٩٠} 020:090 Aaron had certainly told them earlier, ‘O my people! You are only being tested by it. Indeed your Lord is the All-beneficent. So follow me and obey my command!’ This verse was revealed describing the Haroon told his people that they should follow him and obey him. If we look in the quran then this word فَٱتَّبِعُونِى has been used only in two verses of quran. First in the verse 3:31 as given below where the prophet Muhammad saww has said that the Muslims should follow him. قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ ٱللَّهَ فَٱتَّبِعُونِى يُحْبِبْكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ {٣١} 003:031 Say, ‘If you love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins, and Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful.’ In the light of Hadith Manzila Imam Ali has same relation with the Prophet as Haroon has to Musa. The quran confirms that haroon was minister / adviser and successor after Musa like wise as per hadith Manzila Imam Ali is minister and successor after the Prophet Muhammad saww. Also the verse (20:90) "Fatab-uni" confirms that the Children of Israel should follow Haroon in succession to Mosa as likewise Imam Ali should be followed in succession of Muhamamd saww. Also the people should obey Imam Ali likewise they were ordered to obey haroon as. Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those vested with authority among you. And if you dispute concerning anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you have faith in Allah and the Last Day. That is better and more favorable in outcome. 038:029 [This is] a blessed Book that We have sent down to you, so that they may contemplate its signs, and that those who possess intellect may take admonition. The Prophet has more authority over the believers than themselves. (33:36) Thus it confirms that Mawla has more authority over believers than themselves. This is the real meaning of Mawla who is Leader after the prophet Muhammad saw. And Imam Ali is Mawla (Leader) of believers.
