    End of ISIS

Gen. Soleimani congratulates Ayatollah Khamenei, Muslim world for end of ISIS https://en.isna.ir/news/96083017322/ Tehran (ISNA) - In a letter to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei Khamenei, the Commander of IRGC Quds Force Major General Qassem Soleimani announced the end of ISIS's domination over Islamic lands. Following the historic victory of Iraq and Syria's resistance movement over the sedition of Takfiri terrorism and the end of ISIS's domination, which manifested by lowering the flag of this American-Zionist group at Abu Kumal--the last key area in the hands of ISIS--General Soleimani issued an important message to Ayatollah Khamenei. The following is the full text of Major-General Soleimani's message to Ayatollah Khamenei: In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful "Indeed, we have opened for you (Prophet Muhammad) a clear opening." Quran: 1, 48) To the dear and brave Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei: Salamun Alaikum, Six years ago, a dangerous plot like the ones at the time of Amir al-Mu'minin (as), which prevented the Muslims from truly understanding the Pure Islam of Muhammad (pbuh), this time, mixed with the poison of Zionism and arrogance, covered the Islamic world like a devastating storm. This devastating and poisonous sedition was created by the enemies of Islam with an aim of initiating widespread war within the Islamic world and a fight among Muslims. The evil movement, under the name of the "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant," managed, in the early months, to deceive tens of thousands of Muslim youth from both countries, causing a very dangerous crisis for the influential and crucial countries of the Islamic world: "Iraq" and "Syria." They occupied hundreds of thousands of square kilometers of land from these countries along with thousands of villages, towns, and provincial centers; they destroyed thousands of factories, manufactures, and major infrastructure of these countries--including roads, bridges, refineries, wells, gas and oil lines, and power plants; they destroyed or burned important cities with valuable historical monuments and national civilizations by bombing them. Although it is not possible to calculate all the damage caused yet, the preliminary investigation estimates damages to be around $500 billion. In this event, there were extremely horrendous crimes that could not be shown, which included the following: decapitation of children, skinning men alive before their families, taking young girls and women hostage and raping them, burning people alive and group massacres of hundreds of young people. People of these countries, astounded by this poisonous storm, became part of them or victims of the takfiri criminals, and millions of other Muslims left their homes and were displaced throughout other cities and countries. In this dark sedition, thousands of mosques and sacred centers of Muslims were destroyed or ruined, and sometimes a mosque along with the Imam and all the people in it were blown up. More than 6,000 young people, deceived in the name of defending Islam, blew themselves up by way of suicide bombings, using explosive vehicles at city squares, mosques, schools, even hospitals and public places of Muslims; as a result of these criminal acts, tens of thousands of innocent men, women, and children were martyred. 6. I've read this Hadith on his Link https://www.al-islam.org/an-overview-of-mahdi-s-government-najimuddin-tabasi/imam-al-mahdi-s-mode-conduct-enemies#f_319c07f8_24 This is very shocking (Quran) “While to Him submit whosoever there is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly.” The Imam (‘a) replied: “This verse has been revealed about al-Qa’im (‘atfs); it is when he rises up against the Jews, Christians, Sabeans, materialists, those who turned back from Islam, and the infidels of the east and west while offering Islam to them. He will command anyone who accepts it out of his own will to perform the prayers, pay the zakat and do whatever a Muslim ought to do. He will behead anyone who refuses to become Muslim so much so that not a single infidel will remain in both the east and west of the globe.” ‘Abdullah ibn Bakir asked: “May I be your ransom! There are a lot of people on earth. How could the Imam (‘atfs) make them Muslims or behead them?” Imam al-Kazim (‘a) replied: “If God wills something, that which is few will become plenty and something plenty will become few.” Ayyashi, Tafsir ‘Ayyashi, vol. 1, p. 183; Nur ath-Thaqalayn, vol. 1, p. 362; Ithbat al-Hudah, vol. 3, p. 549; Tafsir Safi, vol. 1, p. 267; Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 52, p. 340. Any thought?
  7. Salam all. I am slightly confused as to the laws behind Jizya. I understand that the Quran says non-believers and non-muslims have to pay a tax so they are protected and as a contribution to the government. However, what is the amount dictated by this tax? As an example, I think ISIS charges around 20 to 80% of a households income. Now I fully condone [i think you meant condemn - moderator] the actions of ISIS, and understand that they do not represent Islam in any way. But we have to agree that the vagueness of the Quran on this matter allows people in that scenario to charge whatever they like, leading to the atrocities which are happening in Iraq at the moment. Shouldn't Jizya be standardized across the board, and be equivalent to Zakah to ensure fairness amongst all?
  8. What is the Shiite standpoint on this issue? And if it's true then aren't ISIS and taliban following religion in it's true form? And why should we expect benevolence from non-muslims while we can't be benevolent to them and their place of worship? 1 – Muslim (969) narrated that Abu’l-Hayaaj al-Asadi said: ‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib said to me: “Shall I not send you with the same instructions as the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sent me? ‘Do not leave any image without defacing it or any built-up grave without leveling it.’” 2 – Muslim (832) narrated from ‘Urwah ibn ‘Abasah that he said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “With what were you sent?” He said, “I was sent to uphold the ties of kinship, to break the idols, and so that Allaah would be worshipped alone with no partner or associate.” Source : https://islamqa.info/en/20894 Do answer with facts and references rather than mere opinions.

  11. What makes a Muslim youth leave his life in Marseille, London, New York or Kosovo behind and join a group like IS/Daesh? What does Daesh promise, socio-politically speaking, that the materialist liberal West can't offer? It offers the same utopia that the zionist state PR firms advertise to jewish youth from Brooklyn, North London and Krakow. The attractiveness of being able to BE the 'ideal' Muslim, living in the 'ideal' islamic state, ruled by a descendant of the Prophet, is no different to the effective propaganda of ideal jewish life in occupied Palestine. Muslim youth living in the West no longer have to put up with islamophobic oppressive intrusive and humiliating governments. they can fly Syria or Iraq, look and behave they way they like, and become the 'TRUE' representation of what it means to be Muslim. the added bonus is that Daesh is in a state of war with anybody who refuses to join this utopia, and the reward in the end are 72 pure virgins etc.. A simple life and death, without the headache of juggling multiple identities, switching one off and turning the other on depending on the situation. Being a muslim youth does not mean anything to the liberal materialist westerner. he doesn't care about your religion or your God. he's got problems up to his nose, and instead wants someone to propose solutions AS A HUMAN BEING, or at least as a Brit, or American. Keep your faith at home and tell me how to resolve the rising homelessness, alcoholism, drug abuse, crowded jails, broken families, abused children, millions on food stamps,.... Multiple factors have reduced Muslims in the West to the insignificant entities they are. A major one, in my opinion, are the establishment scholars who push the individualistic, tribal behaviours and passive worldviews. Instead of a collective and united socio-political force, providing perfect examples on the ground on how to resolve issues i mentioned above, we have a pakistani mosque, an arab mosque, a turkish mosque, a wahabi mosque, an ahmadi mosque, a shirazi circus and no socio-political representation with power to influence discourse and policy. Daesh on the other hand, has done just that. It has given YOU the Muslim youth yearning for social impact, and true representation, to live your socio-political utopia in the caliphate and reach your perfection.

  14. US, Britain and France now air force for terrorists in Syria For nearly six years, Washington and its allies have gotten away with playing a cynical double game in Syria’s war. But now the mask is slipping to reveal the ugly face of Western involvement – it is openly siding with terrorists..... Washington and its allies are not just trying to give air cover to the terrorists in Syria indirectly by setting up so-called no-fly zones. They are evidently now giving the terrorists air fire-power. As in the NATO regime-change war in Libya in 2011, the Americans, French and British are riding shotgun in the air for terrorists on the ground. And the truly disgusting thing about this criminal collusion is that the Western powers claim to be concerned about international law, war crimes and human suffering. https://www.rt.com/op-edge/362107-us-france-uk-syria-terrorists/
  15. This recent two-part research essay/article written by a Western journalist under a pen name caught my attention. Thought I'd share:- First part - Washington's Sunni Myth and the Civil Wars in Syria and Iraq Part two - Washington's Sunni Myth and the Middle East Undone To those who know more than me about post-war Iraq and wartime Syria, how accurate is this author? Is it really true that Sunnis were "oppressed" by Shia death squads after the invasion (if they were, I hope the "victims" were just the ones who enjoyed mutilating and torturing the Shias in Iraq for 20+ years under Saddam)? I would appreciate if the Iraqis and Syrians as well as anyone else on this forum well-versed about the ongoing conflict enlighten me on the accuracy of this article.

    Former ISIS Member's Interview

The New York Times recently posted an interview of a German citizen who is a former ISIS member and is now serving a sentence in a German prison that I found rather interesting. 19. Salam all, I am very concerned on many Shias here that don't understand the situation in Syria correctly. We have to have a general consensus on this issue I will try to make things clear through simple points Israel, USA and Uk (the West) including KSA, are against Assad. Hizbullah and Iran are with Assad To bring democracy and freedom to Syria is a lie, KSA, the GCC and Jordan are not democracies. If Assad were to fall today, who do you think would take over? there is no such thing as FSA, there are no moderate Syrians rebels. The war on Syria was created by the west to stop weapons from Iran to Hizbullah and Palesitine Takfiris' number one enemy is shias The West support takfiris to help them get rid of shias There is no anti Assad force that like Shias All Western media is FAKE and LIE, stop believing them Do I have to keep going? Honestly, You may say this is a fitna post, but I say that believing otherwise is a fitna. Everyone must be on the same side and must be educated. There is a worldly force led by satan that is trying to target Shias, because they are the essence of resistance and truth. They got Iraq, the got Yemen! all they want now is Hizbullah and Iran. And they are too scared to confront them so they used the sunnis to do it. There should be no Shias in this forum that support this "Syrian revolution"

    Mosul to be Liberated

Scenarios to liberate Mosul city, military sources Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Iraqi military sources reported that the forces moved this morning towards Nineveh province to participate in clearing the province from Da'ish (ISIS) gunmen, particularly in Shirqat and adjacent areas. The new military movements are part of the plan made and supervised by the international coalition to liberate Mosul city. The sources disclosed that 70 tanks were moved to Nineveh provincial areas from Salahal-din province. Military expert Staff General Mohammed al-Jbouri pointed out that the Iraqi forces were moved for two directions, the first is the international highway that connects Tikrit with Mosul cities and the second to the west through the desert to reach Hatra areas. Iraqi military expert Staff General Mohammed al-Jbouri, ex-army officer, pointed out that the Iraqi forces heading for Mosul city is moving into two main directions, the first towards the international highway that connects Tikrit with Mosul city and the second towards the west desert till reaching Hatra area to cover the rear of other armed forces from Da'ish attacks, then to move to the east towards Qayara cross-section, 50 kilometers to the south of Mosul city. General Jbouri added that the Iraqi forces will encounter a problem for reaching its targets in Qayara area, because the area is desert-like with no population concentrations or towns, except the areas to the north of Beiji city. "The international coalition took Qayara air base as the center for Mosul Liberation Operations", he clarified. Qayara air base is one of the best air bases in Iraq which was used by French Mirage planes. It overlooks the main four routes that lead to Nineveh province, as well as connecting with the bridge that leads to Arbil city. General Jbouri clarified that the Iraqi forces in Tikrit areas will control the western side of the Tigris River, while the forces coming from Makhmour area, south east of Mosul, will control the eastern side of the river. "In other words, it is possible to build a bridge between the two sides to facilitate the movement of the forces between the two banks", he elaborated. "Da'ish gunmen will not be able to threaten the Iraqi forces, except in minor cases like the bombed vehicles or long-range bombardment from the artillery gained when occupying Mosul's city two years ago", General Jbouri added. As concerning Shirqat area, 110 kilometer north of Tikrit city, General Jbouri pointed out that the area will collapse because Da'ish supply lines will be completely cut off, as well as for Haweeja area in Kirkuk province. "The US-led international coalition's forces will have the upper hand in liberating Nineveh province", he added. http://www.iraqtradelinknews.com/2016/06/scenarios-to-liberate-mosul-city.html
  21. Is it wrong to call ISIS an example of "Islamic Radicalism" ? if yes, why ? And if no, why ?
  22. So we have several Sunnis on ShiaChat and I think it is a great thing. Some of the Sunnis ask great, thought-provoking questions; others not so much but as Shias, we welcome all. We get asked some really dumb questions and some very smart questions. This may have been asked before but can any Sunni reading this answer this simple question - What have you done to stop the terrorism that is being spread in the name of Sunni Islam? What specifically in the Sunni doctrine creates terrorists?
  23. No Casualties. May Allah protect our brothers in Madinah. The evil eye was googling them last week So after Fallujah.. A huge number of militants in one big parade, shamelessly drove in the desert to flee the Iraq to Syria or wherever they were heading. IT seems there was some arrangement. Will give Fallujah , but let these militants out... The iraqis did not let these militants flee so the explosion in Karradah was an answer Also, Iraqis said that they will liberate Madinah and Makkah ... Now eyes turned to the Shia there plus some explosions Suicide bomber strikes near Prophet’s Mosque in holy Saudi city of Medina (VIDEO) https://www.rt.com/news/349472-blast-saudi-arabia-medina/

    Can Russia be trusted?

(salam) Hezbullah and Iran has suffered huge loss particularly after intervention of Russia in Syria. Some people believe that Russia can not be trusted. Russia is protecting Israeli interest in Syria and the series of senior Iranian and Hezbullah Officials is due to Russia. What you have to say about this? Can Russia be trusted?
