  6. YSRC leader Jagan Mohan Reddy granted bail in DA case Hyderabad: In a huge relief to YSR Congress chief Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, a special CBI court on Monday granted him bail in the disproportionate assets case. The 40-year-old leader was granted bail after spending nearly 16 months in the Chanchalguda Central Jail. Special CBI court judge U Durgaprasada Rao granted bail to Jaganmohan Reddy on a personal bond of Rs two lakh and two securities of the like amount. The judge directed Jaganmohan not to leave Hyderabad without the court's permission and not to directly or indirectly induce or influence the witnesses. Besides, he was asked to be present before the court during the proceedings in the case. The court said CBI can approach for cancellation of bail if Jaganmohan violates any of these conditions. The case relates to investments made by various companies in Jaganmohan Reddy's firms as quid quo pro for various favours bestowed on them during the tenure of his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy as Chief Minister between 2004 and 2009. There were celebrations in the court premises soon after the order was read out with YSR Congress supporters and workers bursting firecrackers and exchanging sweets. Jaganmohan's wife Bharathi and several YSR Congress leaders were present in the courtroom. Later, YSRC spokesman Ambati Rambabu expressed full faith in the judiciary and said their leader will come out clean after the trial. Earlier, the CBI opposed Jaganmohan’s bail petition contending that the Kadapa MP, if enlarged on bail, could influence the trial in the case. Jaganmohan had moved the court for bail on September 11 on the ground that the four-month deadline set by the Supreme Court for completion of investigation by the CBI had ended on September 9. The Supreme Court had on October 5, 2012 and on May 9 this year rejected the bail petitions of Jaganmohan, who has been lodged in the Chanchalguda Central Prison here since his arrest on May 27, 2012. In May this year, the apex court had directed the CBI to complete its investigation and file the charge sheet(s) within four months. Thereafter, the appellant could move the trial court, which would be "free to consider the prayer for bail independently on its merits without being influenced by dismissal of the present appeal," the Supreme Court had said. The CBI counsel, however, had argued that "the observation of the Supreme Court pertains to completion of investigation and the petitioner (Jagan) is not automatically entitled for release on bail." "The petitioner is a highly-influential person and if he is released on bail it will frustrate the process of trial," CBI counsel said. In his bail plea, Jaganmohan said in view of the ongoing agitation in coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions over the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, there was a need for him to be with the people and lead the stir as a leader of a political party. After hearing the arguments from both sides, the court had reserved its order on the bail plea for Monday. The premier investigative agency has filed 10 charge sheets in the DA case against Jaganmohan Reddy so far, the last two on September 17. Several former and serving ministers and bureaucrats are also accused in the case. Jagan's case: Timeline * What began the YSRC leader's disproportionate assets case was a petition filed by former state minister P Shankar Rao, who had alleged that Jagan had amassed wealth to the tune of Rs.43,000 crore during the regime of his father Y S Rajsekhara Reddy between 2004 and 2009. * Y.S.R. Reddy's election declaration of 2004 included tax returns showing Jagan's assets at Rs. 9.2 lakh, out of a total family assets of Rs. 50 lakhs. In April 2009, Jagan revealed total assets of Rs. 77 crore, and by 2011 it was Rs. 365 crore. * In 2011, CBI began investigating the case following a High Court order. The CBI officials launched country-wide searches on Reddy's offices and residences on August 18, 2011. * On August 27, 2011, the CBI registered the FIR and cases against him and 74 others under various IPC and CrPC sections for criminal conspiracy, cheating. It alleged that since May, 2004, he had floated a number of companies including Jagathi Publications. As quid pro quo to investing in his companies, investors were given the benefit of allotment of lands for Special Economic Zones (SEZs), contracts for irrigation projects, etc. * In March 2012, the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) alleged that the state had lost Rs 1 lakh crore revenue through favours granted to land and construction companies by Jagan. * The CBI report said Jagan's auditor V Vijay Sai Reddy had manipulated the valuation reports of Carmel Asia and Jagathi Publications to enable them to sell the shares at a premium of Rs.350 per share. * CBI DIG H. Venkatesh informed the Supreme Court that “India Cements made illegal quid pro quo investments to the tune of Rs 140 crore into the group companies of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy". In return, they received benefits such as permission to draw extra out-of-norm water from rivers and lease of land. * CBI filed the first chargesheet on March 31, 2012 with Jagan as accused no. 1, Vijay Sai Reddy as accused no. 2 and 11 others. * In March 2012, the Supreme Court directed the CBI to extend their investigations to six ministers (Kanna Lakshminarayana, Mopidevi Venkata Ramana Sabita Indra Reddy, Ponnala Lakshmaiah, J Geetha Reddy and Dharmana Prasada Rao), and eight senior bureaucrats. * CBI freezes the bank accounts of Jagan's companies Sakshi daily, Sakshi television channel and Janani Infra on May 8. * Jagan Reddy was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation over the charges of embezzlement on May 27, 2012. Andhra Excise minister Mopidevi Venkataramna was arrested on May 24, 2012. * Reddy's bail plea was rejected serveral times, including the last time in September, 2013. * In August 2013, Reddy had started a hunger strike in Chanchalguda Jail opposing the United Progressive Alliance's decision to endorse the creation of a separate Telangana state. After 125 hours of indefinite hunger strike, his sugar levels and BP were down and he was forced to end it. * The CBI filed another chargesheet against Jaganmohan Reddy on September, 17, 2013. http://www.deccanchronicle.com/130923/news-current-affairs/article/ysrc-leader-jagan-mohan-reddy-granted-bail-da-case late cm of andhra pradesh ys rajashekar reddy was very popular amongst muslims in the state. he implemented many welfare schemes and reservations for minorities including muslims. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Y._S._Jaganmohan_Reddy muslims along with other minorities including christians may go for the ysr congress party in the coastal andhra and rayalaseema districts, deserting the congress party. 8. Will It Be Sin, If A Shia Man Marry A Revert?

"O you who believe, seek help through patience and prayer. Surely, Allah is with those who are patient." Say, "O My servants who have believed, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world is good, and the earth of Allah is spacious. Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account." (39:10) Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere And We shall try you until We test those among you who strive their utmost and persevere in patience; and We shall try your reported (mettle) On no soul does Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray:) “Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which You did lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith

  12. Mukthar Al Thaqafi

salam wa aliakum, i watched mukthar nama serial on youtube. i couldnt understand some of his actions (as per the serial mukthar nama) 1st thing - is the serial authentic? why did mukthar al thaqafi lie? he claimed that ibn hanafeya gave him a verdict declaring jihad and that ibn hanafeya made him the leader of the uprising why did he forge the seal of ibn hanafeya? and in his verdict it is inscribed as "mahdi" did he believe that ibn hanafeya was the mahdi? was his aim to secure power (reign over iraq) in disguise of "revenge for hossein a.s." ? he took the help of abudullah ibn omer ibn al khattab to escape from prison twice.why did he do so? in the serial they also show that the shiites respected the 2 caliphs. is it true that the hatred towards them came only much later in the shiite communities? what is the opinion of scholars on him?
