    Ziyarat in Cairo

^ Like some people believe Imam Ali (as) is buried in Mazhar-i-shareef, Afghanistan.
  4. You writing your problem here and asking for advice is Him answering your prayers. If your parents are no longer in this world then give charity on their behalf, if they missed any prayers, fasts etc - hope this helps.

    Driverless cars?

That montreal car pile up was hilarious because been there, done that. But anyway, highly recommend you folks watch the movie wall-e. lots of insight on where we're going w on science and technology.
  6. UponTheSunnah reminds me of this Mullah Only Ya Allah Madad, who once said that if you were to compare Imam Hussain and Allah then you should know that Hussain is an ant and Allah a mountain. Glad I had the honor of telling him that Hussain is not an ant. Hussain is a mountain and Allah, The Creator. Never attended his lectures after that and fortunately he stopped coming anyway.

    [Closed/Review]Prostration to 'Alams'?

Not sure what sister UpTheSunnah is so stressed about but I'm from Pakistan and I've never seen anyone prostrate themself before flag of Hazrat Abbas(as) and also never seen anyone abandon them during any suicide attacks from yazeedi muslims.

  12. 1Question: We usually receive wedding invitation cards, which have ‘In the Name of Allah’ written on them. What should we do with them, as we are not allowed to throw them in the sea and it is difficult to bury them? Can we give them to the places that gather paper to be recycled? Answer: If you cannot bury them in the ground, you can give them to a recycling company. 2Question: Other than throwing papers with the name of Allah and other personalities in water (which is technically not permissible according to the laws of the West to avoid pollution and other things) what can Muslims do? Are we permitted to recycle these things in government-sponsored programs? Answer: If the papers are not mixed with najis things and throwing them into recycle bin is not considered disrespectful, there is no problem. However, if possible, you should bury those pieces of paper in a clean place. http://www.sistani.org/english/qa/01214
  13. Yes, thoughts do have the potential to turn into actions but not in mraza001's case because he's not deriving any pleasure from these thoughts.
  14. Instead of avoiding or ignoring these thoughts, let them be. Man is punished for his actions not his thoughts.
