    missing someone

W/Salam, I know it’s really hard losing a loved one especially if it’s one of your parents. When My mom lost her mom she was devastated. I always told her to remember the fact that we are all here for only a short period of time. We all have to go one day and then we reunite with our loved ones for eternity inshallah! Death is not the end it’s a new beginning of the eternal life. Till then recite as many Duas and Quran on your fathers behalf and give charity on his behalf as well. I hope this helped! Sending lots of prayers and love your way. May Allah give you patience.
  2. It feels like we are in the 1940's again This is upsetting.

    Ghosts

What about dreaming about a loved one that has passed away? I have heard of people who have seen huge religious personalities in their dreams. I have heard of an Ayatullah's son having a dream about his father and his father told him what happened to him after he died. Isn't that a form of contact?

    What's your Personality Type?

Just took the test and turns out I am an INFJ-T (Advocate). It was very interesting to read through it.
  5. I don't know what the Islamic ruling is regarding your situation but I say you move out ASAP. It sounds beyond sick! I am so sorry you have to go through it. Lots of love and prayers <3

Tell Me Something Good For Once

    its almost nawrooz!
  7. Omg! First of all I pray to Allah that may you be okay and find a good spouse 10x better than this guy because it sounds as if he was just playing with you. Sister, honestly speaking you shouldn't have met him in person and when he purposed, you should've told him to talk to your parents and not you. But for right now just try to forget what happened and you can do that by praying to Allah and asking for help from him, Just cry your heart out to Allah. He knows and he is the only one who can help you 100%. If you ever need someone to talk to I'm here for you! Wish you the best!
  8. Thank you brother! It makes more sense now :)
  9. If destiny is made based on our decisions then how do we know what decision is good for us and what is bad for us? I think it is kind of unfair that we don't know if something will be good for us or not. How do we decide? What is the best way to make a decision?
  10. Salam everyone I was recently offered a job opportunity which I accepted but now I'm having second thoughts because I am Muslim and I am a hijabi and i will be traveling and staying away from family for two months the thing is that I haven't travelled with people I don't know before and everyone in my family really wants me to get this job. most people I've talked to are up for me going to it but I am not sure what if sow thing happens. I honestly don't know if I should listen to my family or listen to my brain. What do you guys think I should do? Should I do istikharah? Can someone also tell me what is the best method of istikharah? Thank you!
  11. Wow that's soo weird yet interesting but then again it might not work because sometimes experiments like these fail in the long term. But it is pretty interesting.

    Adad E Qamri (Numerological Charts)

  13. Please be extra careful everyone especially sisters that wear hijab! Things are getting worse day by day
  14. If you really love her ask for her hand in marriage. It's a good things she's not talking to you because that you both are avoiding anything sinful to happen :) good luck!

    Paki Probs?

Okay so this a Late reply but we used to have a joint family system which means everyone lived in the same house and encounters na mahrams on daily basis but hijab was never a problem because whenever one of my uncles were about to enter the room they would always cough really loudly so the ladies know that he was coming you should've tried that
