  1. Hadith Of The Day

Authors note: Important to note here are the words ‘After Me’. This indicates that the Prophet (saww) is referring to Imam Ali (as) as His successor after the Prophet (saww) passes away. https://sunniscan.wordpress.com/hadith/ali-as-is-the-master/
  2. Hadith Of The Day

The 2 Caliphs after the Prophet (saww) Notes from the Author: This narration is quoted and considered authentic by many Sunni scholars. Point to think upon is that it’s unanimously accepted that Ali (as) is part of the AhlulBayt (as). So he for sure is a rightful Caliph as per this authentic narration. But what about the Abu Bakr, Umar and Usman? They are for sure not part of the AhlulBayt (as). Then how come are they taken to be Caliphs after the Prophet (saww)?? https://sunniscan.wordpress.com/hadith/the-2-caliphs-after-the-prophet/
  3. Hadith Of The Day

Imam Mohammad Baqir (asws) said, "None of you can reach the true status of believe until he has three characteristics: 1) Death is more beloved to him than life. 2) Poverty is more beloved to him than wealth. 3) Illness is more beloved to him than good health. The narrator then said, "Who has these characteristics?" The Imam (asws) replied, "All of You." The Imam (asws) continued saying, "What is more beloved to you, to die with Our Love or to live with our hatred?" The narrator replied, "By Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى, To die with your love is more beloved to us." The Imam (asws) then said, "Similar is the case kn regards to poverty/wealthy and illness/good health." The narrator then said, "Yes, By Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى. قلت : إي والله [Source: Ma'ani al-Akhbar, Shaikh Sadooq, Pg. 189] http://www.marefateahlebait.com/…/merits-of-the-shias-muhibb Join us on Telegram: https://t.me/KnowTheAhlulbayt

Tawassul!!! al-Kalimu al-Tayyib, by Ibn Taymiyyah – Pg. 173/174: Narrated from al-haysam bin Hanash who said, “We were with Abdullah bin Umr, suddenly his leg became numb/paralyzed. So a man said to him, mention the most beloved person to you. So the man said, “Ya Mohammad”. And then he became like the one freed from shackles. Narrated from al-Mujahid who said, “The leg of a man became numb/paralyzed besides Al Abbas. Ibn Abbas said “Say the name of the most beloved person to you!”. The man said “Muhammad”. And then his numbness went away.” https://sunniscan.wordpress.com/hadith/tawassul/

#None can be compared to the #AhlulBayt (as) !!! Imam #Ali (as) said: "None in the Islamic Ummah (community) can be compared with the Progeny of Mohammad (asws). The one who was under their blessings cannot be similar to them. They are the foundation of religion and pillar of certainty. Towards them return those who have exceeded and to them meet those who have fallen short. And specifically for them is right of Wilayah (guardianship) and regarding them is the Wasiyyah (will) and inheritance/succession (of the Prophet)." [Source: Nahjul Balagha, Sermon. 2] Similar wordings have come in another narration in which Imam Jafar Sadiq (aswa) has said, نحن أهل البيت لا يقاس بنا أحد "We the Progeny of Mohammad (asws), none can be compared to us" [Source: Ilal al-Sharae, Vol. 1, Pg. 177] Similar words have come from the Prophet (saww) in which he said to Imam Ali (asws): نحن أهل بيت لا يقاس بنا أحد من عباد الله "We the AhlulBait (asws), none can be compared to us from the servants of Allah (swt)" [Source: Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 65, Pg. 45] http://www.marefateahlebait.com/know-the-ahlul-bait/ahlebait-as-different-from-the-entire-nation Join us on Telegram:https://t.me/KnowTheAhlulbayt
  6. Hadith Of The Day

#Ali the #Caliph of the #Prophet #Sunni #Books Hadith al-Khilafah has come in three sighahs (versions). The first sighah is documented by Imam Ibn Abi ‘Asim (d. 287 H). Muhammad b. al-Muthanna – Yahya b. Hammad – Abu ‘Awanah – Yahya b. Sulaym Abu Balj – ‘Amr b. Maymun – Ibn ‘Abbas: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said to ‘Ali: “You are to me of the status of Harun to Musa, with the exception that you are not a prophet. And you are my khalifah over every believer after me.” Its chain is hasan. Its narrators are narrators of the two Shaykhs, except Abu Balj, and his name is Yahya b. Sulaym b. Balj. Al-Hafiz said: “Saduq (very truthful), maybe he made mistakes.” There are witnesses for it (i.e. the hadith).” Source: Abu Bakr b. Abi ‘Asim, Ahmad b. ‘Amr b. al-Dhahhak b. 7. In the chapter al-Takathur, Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى warns the people about getting lost in the worldly affairs and forgetting the hereafter and that the people will come to know of the truth only once they reach their grave. And then suddenly in the last verse, Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى says that the people will be questioned about a blessing that Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى had bestowed upon them. Below are Ahadith from the Imam's (as) informing us of what that blessing is. ما ذكره محمد بن العباس (رحمه الله) قال حدثنا علي بن أحمد بن حاتم عن حسن بن عبد الواحد عن القاسم بن ضحاك عن أبي حفص الصائغ عن الإمام جعفر بن محمد(ع)أنه قال‌ ثُمَّ لَتُسْئَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ‌ و الله ما هو الطعام و الشراب و لكن ولايتنا أهل البيت‌ Narrated from Imam Jafar bin Mohammad (as) who said: Regarding the verse, "Then you will surely be asked that Day about the blessing" (102:8), By Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى, the blessing is not food or drinks but it is Our the AhlulBait's (as) Wilayah" [Source: Taweel al-Aayat, Pg. 810] اخبرنا احمد بن إدريس عن احمد بن محمد عن سلمة بن عطا عن جميل عن ابي عبدالله (عليه السلام) قال قلت قول الله: لتسئلن يومئذ عن النعيم قال: قال تسئل هذه الامة عما انعم الله عليهم برسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) ثم بأهل بيته المعصومين (عليهم السلام) Narrated from Abi Abdillah Imam Jafar Sadiq (as) regarding the verse, "Then you will surely be asked that Day about the blessing" (102:8) Imam (as) said, "This community (Ummah) will be questioned about the blessing that Allah (set) blessed them with in the form of the Prophet (saww) and His AhlulBait (as). In the year 285 A.H. (897 A.D.), al-Hakim Abu Ali Al-Husayn ibn Ahmad al-Bayhaqi narrated that Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Sowli quoted on the authority of Abu Thakwan Al-Qasim ibn Isma'il in Seiraf on the authority of Ibrahim ibn Abbas al-Sowli al-Katib in (the city of) Ahwaz in the year 227 A.H. (841 A.D.), "One day we were in the company of Ali ibn Musa Ridha (as) and He told me, "There is no true blessing in this world." Some of the jurisprudents (Fuqaha) present there said, "Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى has said, "Then you will surely be asked that Day about the blessing"(102:8). As for this blessing in the world, its the cold water." Then Imam Ridha (as) told them in a loud voice, "That is how you interpret it and bring about several forms of interpretation for it." Some said, 'It is cold water.' Others said, 'It is delicious food.' Still others said, 'It is good sleep.' Imam Ridha (as) said, "I quote on the authority of my father (as), on the authority of his father Abi Abdullah Imam As-Sadiq (as) that what you said about the Sublime God's words, "Then you will surely be asked that Day about the blessing" (102:8), were told to him. Then Imam As-Sadiq (as) got angry and said, "Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى will neither question His servants about what He has nobly bestowed upon them, nor will He mention it to them. This is not even good for the Allah's creations to do, then How could they ascribe to Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى what His creatures will not be pleased with? However, the true blessing is the love for us - the Members of the Holy Household. This is what God will question the people about after questioning them about the Unity of God and the Prophet-hood. If one has been loyal to this he will be rewarded with Heaven which is the Eternal blessing. My father had indeed hear this from his father (as) who had heard it from his forefathers (as) all the way back to the Amir al-Momineen (as) who said, "The Prophet (saww) said, "O Ali! Indeed, the first thing that one will be questioned about after death is to testify that, There is no god but God and that, Muhammad (a.s.) is God's Messenger. He will also be questioned about testifying that, You (Ali) are the one with authority over the believers due to the authority which God has established and I have established for you. Whoever believes in these will be sent to the blessing in which there is no end." 8. Hadith Of The Day

#Friday #alQaim Does the Imam (atfs) pray for us? How do we know what's our position/status near the Imam (atfs)? Although the below narration is related to Imam Ridha (as), it can very well be applied to Imam al-Qaim (atfs) who is the Imam of our time. From al-Hassan ibn al-Jahm who has said the following: "Once I said to abu al-Hassan Imam Ridha (as), "Do not forget me in your prayers." The Imam asked, "How do you know I forget you?" I (the narrator) then thought within myself and said to myself that he (Imam) prays for his Shi’a (followers) and I am a Shi’a. I then said to the Imam, "I know, you do not forget me in your prayers." The Imam asked, "How did you find out?" I said, "You pray for your Shi’a and I am your Shi’a." The Imam asked, "Did you find out by any means other than that?" I said, 'No.' The Imam said, "If you like to know what is for you (position/status/importance/love) near me, see what is for Me (position/status/importance/love) near you." 9. Hadith Of The Day

Imam Ali (as) when talking to Sulaym bin Qays and informing him about His Wilayah and the truth about those against the Imam said the following: "And know that Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى gives the world to the good and evil doers. While this matter in which you are in (Al-Wilayah), Allah gives it to the special ones of His creations. Verily our matter, none can understand it except for three from the creations – an Angel of Proximity, or a Mursil Nabi (Messenger Prophet), or a servant whose heart Allah has Tested for the faith. O Sulyam, the possessors of this matter (Al-Wilyah) are the pious/God fearing, because our Wilayah cannot be achieved except by the piety/God fearing." And the infallibility is not something that can be known from external appearance. And the Imam is not but Mansoos (i.e. established by evidence from textual sources of Quran and Ahadith). The Imam (as) was asked, "O Son of the Messenger of Allah (saww), "What is meant by 'Infallible'?" Imam (as) said, "(It means that) The Imam is attached to the rope of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى. And the rope of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى is the Quran. These 2 will never separate until the day of Qayamah. And the Imam guides towards the Quran and the Quran guides towards the Imam.
