  2. Chapter: 78, Verse: 40 - Why Imam Ali (as) is called 'Abu Turaab' ??? But, what is reliable with regards to that, is what was narrated to me (Shaikh Sadooq) by - Ahmad Bin Al-Hassan Al-Qataan, from Abu Al-Abbas Ahmad Bin Yahya Bin Zakariya, from Bakr Bin Abdullah Bin Habeeb, from Tameem Bin Bahloul, from his father, from Abu Al-Hassan Al-Abdy, from Suleyman Bin Mahran, from Abaya Bin Rabi’e who said: "I said to Abdullah Bin Ibn Abbas, ‘Why did Rasool-Allah (saww) give Ali (as) the name "Abu Turaab"? He said, ‘Because He is the Master of the earth, and Proof of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى over its people after Him, and due to Him is its existence and its at peace due to Him. And I heard the Rasool-Allah (saww) saying: ‘When it will be the Day of Judgement, and the Infidel would see what Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى has Prepared for the Shiah of Ali (as), from the Rewards and the Nearness, and the Prestige, he would say O! I wish I were dust! i.e., from the Shiah of Ali (as) and that is in the Words of Allah the Mighty and Majestic "and the unbeliever shall say: O! I wish I were dust!"

  4. Hadith Of The Day

The following 2 narrations talk about coming of people from distant places and distant countries for the Ziyarah of Imam Husain (as). One can clearly see a reflection of the Arbaeen Ziyarah in these narrations. From Saheefah al-Redha (as), Narrated from Imam Redha (as), from His Fathers, from Ali bin Husain (as): "It is as if I am at the Palaces (big houses) that are constructed around the grave of Imam Husain (as) and as if I am at the markets that surround His grave. And the days and nights don’t pass but that they come towards it from the distant lands. And that will happen at the end of the rule of Bani Marwan" [Source: Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 98, Pg. 114] In a similar narration found the words are little bit different... Narrated from Ali bin Abi Talib (as): "It is as if I am at the Palaces (big houses) that are constructed around the grave of Imam Husain (as) and as if I am with the carriages that have set out from Kufa towards the grave of Imam Husain (as). And the days and nights don’t pass but that they come towards it from the distant lands. And that will happen at the end of the rule of Bani Marwan" [Source: Uyoon al-Akhbar al-Redha, Chapter. 31, Hadith. 190] http://www.marefateahlebait.com/husain-and-karbala/ziyarat-of-imam-husain https://t.me/KnowTheAhlulbayt
  5. Hadith Of The Day

Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, ‘Test our Shi`aa with regard to three things: the prayer times to see how well they observe them, their secrets to see how well they guard them from our enemies, and their wealth to see how they help out their fellow brothers with it. [Bihar al-Anwar, v. 83, p. 22, no. 40]
  6. Hadith Of The Day

Imam Ridha (as) in a narration about the excellence of #Ghadeer says: ويعتق من النار ضعف ما اعتق في شهر رمضان وليلة القدر وليلة الفطر "And Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى frees from fire double the number of people as freed during the month of Ramadhan and Laylatul Qadr and night of Fitr." Source: Tehzeeb al-Ahkam, Vol. 6, Pg. 24
  7. Chapter: 39 Verse: 53 - Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى will forgive the Sins of the Shia's only: حدثنا جعفر بن محمد قال: حدثنا عبدالكريم عن محمد بن علي عن محمد ابن الفضيل عن ابي حمزة قال قال ابوجعفر (عليه السلام): لا يعذر الله يوم القيامة احدا يقول: يا رب لم اعلم ان ولد فاطمة (عليها السلام) هم الولاة على الناس كافة، وفي شيعة ولد فاطمة انزل الله هذه الآية خاصة " يا عبادي الذين أسرفوا على أنفسهم لا تقنطوا من رحمة الله " Abu Jafar Imam Mohammad Baqir (as) said, "Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى will not excuse/pardon any one on the day of Qiyamah who says, "O My Lord, I did not know that the children of Fatemah (sa) were the masters over all the people." And its specifically regarding the Shia's of the children of Fatemah (sa) that Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى revealed this verse, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah ..." 8. We are basically looking to someone debate/discuss this with him and answer his arguments.
  9. Not Sure if some one has posted this earlier. Its taken from the below link. I personally believe someone should stand up and answer.
  10. Because that is what Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى willed for them. That question should then go to Allah "What an strange case is the case with a group of followers! They acknowledge us as the Divine authority over themselves, accept us as their Imam and say that obedience to us is obligatory just as is the case with the Messenger of Allah. They then destroy the veracity of their belief as such and dispute against their own selves due to weakness of their hearts. They then diminish our right and blame those whom Allah has granted evidence to know us as it should be and the (ability) to submit themselves to our Divine authority. Do you not consider that how would Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, make it obligatory to obey those who possess Divine authority over his servants and then hide from them (people who possess Divine authority) `the new of the heaves and the earth? How would He cut them off of the sources of knowledge that might come to them to maintain their religion?" Humran then said to the Imam (As), "May Allah, take my soul in service for your cause, how would you explain the case of the uprising of Ali ibn abu Talib, al-Hassan and al-Husayn (As)? They came out and rose up for the cause of Allah, Whose name is so Majestic. How much they suffered and how mercilessly were they murdered at the hands of the rebels? They were defeated, murdered and over powered." Abu Ja‘far (As) then said, "O Humran, Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, had determined it on them. He had decreed, approved and made it unavoidable though the voluntary manner. He then allowed to take place. It, thus, happened with a pre-existing knowledge that had come to them from the Messenger of Allah. Ali, al-Hassan and al-Husayn (As) rose up for the cause of Allah with full knowledge of the consequences and remained silent from us those who remained silent. Had they, O Humran, when facing what Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, made them to face and suffer defeat at the hands of the rebels (apparent), asked Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, to remove their suffering and would implore Him to destroy the government and kingdom of the rebels He would have answered their prayers and would grant them relief. In such case the destruction of the governments of the rebels and the ending of their time would take place quicker than the dispersal under a great pressure, of beads threaded together. The suffering, O Humran, that befell them, was not because of the sins that they might have committed or the punishment for their opposition to Allah. It was because of the high marvellous position that Allah had prepared and wanted them to reach. Do not let people’s opinions take you away from the right path." 11. Yes the Imam's (as) can do and did many miracles by the authority and power bestowed upon them by Allah Regarding your question as to why the Imam's (as) did not use that power against their enemies and from getting killed then we had the same question posted to Imam Ali (as) as to why did not not use His power against Muawiya and he replied back giving the below verse of the Holy Quran: بل عباد مكرمون لا يسبقونه بالقول وهم بأمره يعملون "Rather, they are [but] honored servants. They cannot precede Him in word, and they act by His command." (21:26-27) Which indicates that the Imam's (as) acted as per the commands of Allah 13. Qur'an Verse Of The Day

    وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَن يَكُونَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ ۗ وَمَن يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا مُّبِينًا - 33:36 It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error.

  15. Chapter: 41, Verse. Narrated by Aban bin Tuglub; Abu Abdillah Imam Sadiq (as) said to me, "O' Aban, do you think that Allah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì has asked the Mushrikeen for Zakat of their wealth while they are doing shirk; when He says, "And Woe be upon the Mushrikeen who do not give Zakat and do not believe in the hearafter" (41:6-7) I said, "How is that, May I be sacrificed for you, explain it to me." Imam (as) said, "Woe upon the Mushrikeen, those who associate others with the first Imam [referring to Imam Ali (as)] and they are those who deny the other Imam's (as). O'Aban, Indeed, Allah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì calls the servants towards belief, then when they believe in Allah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì and His Prophet (saww) then the obligations are obligated upon them."
