  1. Salat

Salam. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the prayer times mentioned in this Quranic verse; Surah Ta ha Chapter 20 Verse 130: "So be patient over what they say and exalt [ Allah ] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting; and during periods of the night [exalt Him] and at the ends of the day, that you may be satisfied." Here, "before the rising of the sun" refers to Fajr, "before its setting" refers to Asr, "during periods of the night" refers to Isha and "at the ends of the day" refers to Mahgrib. This is what I can understand from this verse but in this way aren't we talking about 4 prayer times instead of 3? Jazak Allah.
  2. Pardah

    Jazak Allah
  3. Pardah

I have a question and I want answers from Ismailis only please. I understand why the veil was abolished by His Highness Sir Aga Khan III but I don't get why it was considered as "traditional" when there are so many Quran verses about covering ourselves and dressing modestly. Do ismails believe in pardah and to what extent? Thank you.
