  1. NEW DEBATE Muhammad Hijab vs Shia Academic

The Quran was revealed as one 'harf' or as 7 different 'ahraf'?
  2. Apostasy Law In Quran

I know in both Shia and Sunni Islam apostates are punished by death, but here I found this verse of Quran very fascinating; ayah number 137 from surah Nisa : You can see that it describes a man who has left the religion several times. Can we kill a person many time? Of course, we cannot. Also it says nor he will guide them to a way, they have to be alive first to not to be guided to the way. In Quran we have also this ayats: May be Death penalty is for those who cause fitna, not those who peacefully leave religion. Any thoughts?
  3. Abu Bakr in the Cave

Indeed Ali Ibn Abi Talib A.S. is better than everyone but Rasool Allah S.A.W.
  4. Abu Bakr in the Cave

Salaam, The very famous verse of Surah Tauba referring Abu Bakr; If you do not aid the Prophet - Allah has already aided him when those who disbelieved had driven him out [of Makkah] as one of two, when they were in the cave and he said to his companion, "Do not grieve; indeed Allah is with us." And Allah sent down his tranquillity upon him and supported him with angels you did not see and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the word of Allah - that is the highest. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise. Why Holy Prophet PBUH said that Allah is with us(i.e. Abu Bakr and Holy Prophet)?
  5. Sects in Islam

Salaam brothers and sisters, We can see that Quran forbids idea of sects in several verses; Surah Al-Anam (6:159) And then we have this hadees about sects; Muhammad ibn Ya'qub (Al-Kulayni), from Muhammad ibn Yahya, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Isa, from Ibn Mahboob, from Jameel ibn Salih, from Abi Khalid Al-Kabuli, from Abi Ja'far (Imam Al-Baqir) (as) in a Hadith, he said: "Verily the Jews separated after Musa (as) into 71 sects, one sect from it went to Jannah and 70 went to hell. And the Christians after Isa (as) separated into 72 sects, one sect from it went to Jannah and 71 went to [hell] fire. And this nation will separate after its Prophet into 73 sects, 72 sects will go to [hell] fire, and one sect will go to heaven. And from the 73 sects, 13 sects will arrogate our Wilayah and Love. 12 sects from it are in [hell] fire, and one sect is in Jannah, and 60 sects from the rest of the people are in [hell] fire. If the very idea of 'making sects' at the first place is forbidden, then how come one of these 'sects' will be in Jannah?
  6. Bagh e Fadak

Salaam, Was Fadak inheritance or was it gifted to bibi Fatima S.A. by Rasool Allah S.A.W.? please also provide sunni references if available.
  7. Asking help from Ahlulbayt A.S.

There is no problem in asking help from Imam Mahdi AJTF as he is the living Imam
  8. Asking help from Ahlulbayt A.S.

Its a big issue and mostly sunni criticize Shia for this, I have few doubts regarding this. So I understand that we can call an alive person for help, those who are appointed by Allah as helpers. "......."Our Lord! Rescue us from this town whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from You one who will protect, and raise for us from You one who will help." An Nisa 75 I know Imams A.S. are helpers, therefore we can call them for help, but what about Imams who are not alive biologically, here we have this argument that they are Martyrs and they are alive but this verse says; وَلاَ تَقُولُواْ لِمَنْ يُقْتَلُ فِي سَبيلِ اللّهِ أَمْوَاتٌ بَلْ أَحْيَاء وَلَكِن لاَّ تَشْعُرُونَ {154 There are different translations for this verse some only say that that they are alive while some say that they are alive with Allah, so they are not alive with us to help us. Some sunnis quote several verses from Quran like; "And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves." What is the right translation of the verse about martyrs so we can say that they are alive not only with Allah and therefore we can ask help from them.
  9. Fake Social Media Accounts

Is it permissible to make fake accounts on social media with fake information, is it considered lying which is definitely haram, or is it just 'makroh'?
  10. LGBT Right in Shia Islam

AOA, I wanted to ask this question for a long time now, I know that homosexuality is strictly forbidden but does that mean that there should be a capital punishment for this? What is Ayatullah Sistani's fatwa on this?
