    يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَكُونُواْ مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ

  2. Shahaba and Umar and

What "believe" they are demanding from us? perhaps they would be demanding to believe that all the sahaba are "aadil". How can they all be adil while they fought wars with each other & killed each other? And about cursing Prophet's wives, I would like to say that Quran has introduced the "Sadiqeens" (truthful ones) and has commanded us to be with them. All those who came against those "sadiqeen" (certified truthful ones) are liars & curse of Allah be on those liars, as per Quran. So we dont really need to curse anyone, but we do know who are the cursed persons when we see the Islamic history e.g fadak, battle of Jamal, siffin & nehrwan etc.
  3. Aisha/wives of prophet and Quran

Shia respect the wives of Prophet (S), we don't curse anyone of them. However, we dislike two of them only. One is Hafsa & other is Aisha. Our disliking them is not for our own selves, we dislike them because of their actions. You may ask any Sunni, does he likes the act of Aisha coming out form her house by ruining the commands of Allah, and lead the whole army for fighting war with Imam Ali? It is clear command of Allah for the wives of Prophet (S) "remain in your houses". I think no Muslim will going to like this action of Aisha. We dislike her because of her jealousy with the Ahlul Bayt & with the mother of Syeda Fatima (s.a). Aisha in fact was jealous with many wives of Prophet and one incident is mentioned in Quran in chapter 66 (Sura-e-Tehreem). There are many more reasons which causes us to dislike her and all of them are related to her own actions recorded in the Islamic history.
  4. Oneness of Allah

There is a hadith: Prophet (S) Said: "O Ali, none has recognized Allah, the Almighty except me and you, and none has recognized me except Allah and you, and none has recognized you except Allah and I." It is also said by Prophet (S): I am the city of knowledge & Ali is its gate. So brother, for better understanding of oneness of Allah we are in need of those who recognize oneness of Allah (Touheed). They are Prophet Muhammad & his Ahlul Bayt (peace & blessings of Allah be upon them). Those who want to explore the city of knowledge, are commanded to enter into the city of knowledge through its gate, which is Imam Ali (a.s). Loving them is a command of Allah (s.w.t) & on the other hand it is our very need. Without loving them, we cannot understand anything of the religion properly. Our claim of "love for Ahlul Bayt (asws)" should be in the form of our actions, following them, obeying them & accepting their commands in true letter & spirit.
  5. Three kinds of existences

    How can you define "existence"?

  7. Whats stopping me from becoming a Shia???

No doubt Zayd shaheed gave his life in the cause of Allah (s.w.t). I am "Zaidi" and my "Shajra-e-Nasb" connects to Zayd-e-Shaheed. I want to ask you a personal question, why not you have wished to die like Hussain (asws)? There is a famous saying "Live like Ali (asws) and die like Hussain (asws)" . Do you not want to die like the "Syed-ush-Shuhada"?
  8. Abu Bakar

These are not the words of my Master (asws). How can he say that while these two are those who ran away in the battle of "Uhad", failed to defend Prophet (S) & failed to respond to his call. And these two were not present at the time of burial of Prophet's body. How can he say that while Prophet has said these words about him: "Ali is from me and I am from Ali and no one represents me except Ali." (Sunnan Ibi Majah, Hadith # 119) "Your position to me is like the position of Aaron to Moses, except that there shall be no Prophet after me." (Bukhari Vol 5, Book 59, Hadith # 700. Muslim, Book 31, Hadith # 5913) "I am the city of knowledge & Ali is its gate", This is very important because Quran commands us to enter in the houses through gates: وَلَيْسَ الْبِرُّ بِأَنْ تَأْتُوْاْ الْبُيُوتَ مِن ظُهُورِهَا وَلَـكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنِ اتَّقَى وَأْتُواْ الْبُيُوتَ مِنْ أَبْوَابِهَا "and it is not righteousness that one should enter the houses at their backs, but righteousness is this that one should guard (against evil); and go into the houses by their doors" (2:189)
  9. Give a Salawat! [OFFICIAL THREAD]

Dear Brother, Perhaps you have tagged me for correcting what I write or spell. Let me explain it to you: Why I write Muhammad, instead of Muhammadin or Muhammadiw? I take waqf while writing (not while reciting) because I cannot find any suitable English letter which produce the sound of "ghunna" (noon ghunna). The sound of "ghunna" originates when the harakat mentioned beneath the "daal" of Muhammad combines with "wow" ( مُحَمَّدٍ وَ) Why I write "Aal-e-" instead of ali? Because there is a "Madda" or "Khara Zabar" on the alif of "Aal" which produces twice as the sound of "alif". This is آلِ ("Aal"), you can see "madda" on Alif. اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahumma sallay ala Muhammad, wa Aal-e-Muhammad, wa ajjil farajahum.
  11. Divine Mercy

"In the book Al-Ahliyaljat, Imam Al-Sadiq (asws) said: ‘Verily the mercy which is referred to us, from that is pathos and generosity, and the Mercy of Allah (azwj) is His Reward to His creation. And, the mercy of the servants is when one of the two things happens. One of this is the clemency and tenderness he feels in his heart when he sees someone in adversity and need and struck by affliction. And another, when he is told about a deceased and he feels compassion and kindness to him and the speakers would say, ‘Look at the mercy of that person’. And he wanted to act based upon the tenderness in his heart for that person, and it is more with Allah (azwj) the Mighty and Majestic than what happens with us from this thing, for Allah (azwj) is far from having an organ, like the description of Himself, for He is Merciful, and His Mercy is not a creation’." (Tafseer Noor Al Saqalayn CH 1 – H 52)
  12. Why did Iran support the Arab Spring?

It was not a bad decision to support Arab spring. At that times, the hopes were that it might expand to GCC countries like Saudi Arab, Kuwait, UAE etc.
  13. Nice reasoning skills brother. A part from that, fact is that these three personalities are those who have entered into Islam in the very beginning. I think no one can deny this fact.
  14. Sunni accept this hadith too, but they assert that in children Ali (asws) was the first one who entered into Islam, In Ladies it was Khadija (a.s) and in adult males it was Abu Bakr. What would you say now?
  15. Why did Iran support the Arab Spring?

Perhaps they have not figured out the plot of the enemy behind Arab Spring.
