  1. Clearly he (saww) asked to punish her and the others alongside her, but they didn't abide by his command just as they transgressed his commands earlier. "He said, "None of those who are in the house but will be forced to take medicine in the side of his mouth while I am watching, except Al-`Abbas, for he had not witnessed your deed."
  2. Salam Alaikum All my life, (I'm sure some of you too as well), I've been taught to believe Rasulullah (saww) was poisoned by a Jewish woman. Through some reading, I've found this to be completely false and irrational, just a complete lie. I've found this hadith from the sunni books that really shook me.. Just take a look Narrated Ibn `Abbas and `Aisha: Abu Bakr kissed (the forehead of) the Prophet (ﷺ) when he was dead. `Aisha added: We put medicine in one side of his mouth but he started waving us not to insert the medicine into his mouth. We said, "He dislikes the medicine as a patient usually does." But when he came to his senses he said, "Did I not forbid you to put medicine (by force) in the side of my mouth?" We said, "We thought it was just because a patient usually dislikes medicine." He said, "None of those who are in the house but will be forced to take medicine in the side of his mouth while I am watching, except Al-`Abbas, for he had not witnessed your deed." حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَعَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَبَّلَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهْوَ مَيِّتٌ‏.‏ قَالَ وَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ لَدَدْنَاهُ فِي مَرَضِهِ، فَجَعَلَ يُشِيرُ إِلَيْنَا، أَنْ لاَ تَلُدُّونِي‏.‏ فَقُلْنَا كَرَاهِيَةُ الْمَرِيضِ لِلدَّوَاءِ‏.‏ فَلَمَّا أَفَاقَ قَالَ ‏"‏ أَلَمْ أَنْهَكُمْ أَنْ تَلُدُّونِي ‏"‏‏.‏ قُلْنَا كَرَاهِيَةَ الْمَرِيضِ لِلدَّوَاءِ‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ لاَ يَبْقَى فِي الْبَيْتِ أَحَدٌ إِلاَّ لُدَّ ـ وَأَنَا أَنْظُرُ ـ إِلاَّ الْعَبَّاسَ فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَشْهَدْكُمْ ‏‏‏.‏ Reference : Sahih al-Bukhari 5709-5712 In-book reference : Book 76, Hadith 29 USC-MSA web (English) reference : Vol. 7, Book 71, Hadith 610 (deprecated numbering scheme) " Anyone can find out from this, that what they put in the Holy Prophet's mouth was NOT medicine. If any learned person knows or can answer, is this hadith authentic or reliable? Was this the cause of Rasulullah's death? Why have we all been lied to? Or if there is another reason to Rasulullah's death, please share it. Wassalam (here's the hadith) https://sunnah.com/bukhari/76/29
  3. Slave Girls in Islam?

So you're saying the reason Imam Ali (a.s) took her as a servant is the same reason the Holy Prophet (saww) married his wives? ( to care for the widows separated from their husbands in war )
  4. Slave Girls in Islam?

Thank you, I am speaking concerning the permission of the slave girl. If you want her to work at your house, shouldn't she agree first? This is the same question I have for the quranic verse 'those who your right hand possess', What is the meaning of this verse?
  5. Slave Girls in Islam?

Did Imam Ali (a.s) have permission to hire that slave girl?
  6. Slave Girls in Islam?

I thought you were the Commander of Hadiths, do you not know that Ali did more housework than even his wives? He baked the food, cleaned the house, etc.
  7. Slave Girls in Islam?

@myouvial Why does Ali (a.s) need a slavegirl?
  8. I always thought islam was equal with men and women, a fair and just religion and pretty much for the most part still do. But explain this, please: `Imran ibn al-Husayn al-Khuza`i was a high ranking companion distinguished in learning and achievements and very cautious in relating traditions. He accepted Islam in the year of Khaybar and participated in jihad with the Prophet. Was honoured with the judicial position at Kufah and died at Basrah in 52 A.H. One of the genuine traditions related by `Imran ibn al-Husayn about Amir al-mu'minin is: The Messenger of Allah raised and sent an army under the command of `Ali ibn Abi Talib. From the khums (one-fifth) received by him `Ali set aside a slave girl for himself. This was distasteful to some of his men and four of them decided to complain of this to the Prophet (S). On their return they approached the Prophet, and one of them stood up and said: "O' Messenger of Allah! Do you not see that `Ali did so and so?" The Prophet turned away his face from him. Another man stood up and made the same complaint and the Prophet turned away his face from him. Still another man stood up and repeated what his two colleagues had said and met the same reaction. Then the fourth man stood up and spoke like his predecessors. The Prophet (S) then turned to them with signs of anger on his face and said: "What do you want me to do to `Ali? (repeating thrice). Surely, `Ali is from me and I am from him, and after me he is the Master of all the believers." (al-Jami` as -sahih, at-Tirmidhi,vol.5,p.632; al-Musnad, Abmad ibn Hanbal, vol.4, pp.437-438; al-Musnad, Abu Dawud at-Tayalisi, p.111;al-Mustadrak, al-Hakim, vol.3, pp.110-111; Hilyah al-awliya', Abu Nu`aym, vol.6, p.294; Tarikh al-Islam, adh- Dhahabi, vol.2, p.196; at-Tarikh, Ibn Kathir, vol.7, p.345; Usd al- ghabah, Ibn al-Athir, vol.4, p.27, al-Isabah, Ibn Hajar, vol.2, p.509) Why is the Commander of the Faithful setting aside a slave girl for himself? And why does the Quran say " those who your right hand possess? " Don't you need permission to marry a slave girl? Why does it make it look like you own the slave girl.. I thought islam prohibited this?
  9. Could it be that stone head is the head of Prophet Yahya (a.s) [ John the Baptist ] ? He doesn't look Arab, again if anyone has information please clarify
  10. I am deeply confused.. I thought this was the head of Imam Hussain (a.s) sculpted? I've never heard of this stone before.. can anyone help me understand ?
  11. This is supposed to be the body of Hujr Ibn Adi, companion of Imam Ali (a.s) and companion of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). What is the guy in the video saying? Please translate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ti6uS-ZHoM
  12. School

Salam Alaikum Hi guys, I have a question. I know is off-topic but I have no one to ask but my muslim brothers and sisters. Do you know any online schools that are good in the area of Michigan? Like where you sign up online and instead of attending High-School, you complete your classes online. I seen many but don't know how well they are. Thanks and May God bless you for if you give me an answer!
  13. Hello everyone. Why is Imam Mahdi (aj) called son of Imam Al Hassan (a.s) in Dua Al Faraj and other works? He is a descendent of Imam Hussain (a.s), not Imam Hassan (a.s), right?
  14. Bodies Rising To Heaven?

If this hadith is true, then does this mean all the ziyarat we've been going to were pointless? Because there is no soul nor body there..
  15. So we all think Ahlulbayt are Muhammad, Fatima, and the 12 imams ( peace and blessings upon them all ), right? But verse 33:33: Quran - 33:33 And abide in your houses and do not display yourselves as [was] the display of the former times of ignorance. And establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah intends only to remove from you the impurity [of sin], O people of the [Prophet's] household, and to purify you with [extensive] purification. Why is Quran saying " abide in your houses "? Surely this was meant for the wives, correct? Wives of Rasoolallah. Because Allah knew Aisha would war with Ali (a.s). But then why did Muhammad (saw) say I leave for you Quran and Ahlulbayt? He would not want muslims chasing after his wives, right? I'm confused. Please explain to me justly how we can prove the 12 imams were the true Ahlulbayt. Sunnis are getting really annoying with these repetitive arguments. I'm sorry
