  2. salam alaykum wrwb, Religious significance The Dome of the Chain owes its name to an ancient legend during King Solomon 's rule. According to Mujir ad-Din, The building in Islamic tradition is the spot where Judgment Day will occur in the "end of days" and where a chain will stop the sinful and let... Among the wonders of the Holy House is the chain, which Solomon, son of David, suspended between Heaven and Earth, to the east of the Rock, where the Dome of the Chain now stands. The chain had one characteristic. If two men approached it to solve a point of litigation, only the honest and upright man could take hold of it; the unjust man saw it move out of his reach. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dome_of_the_Chain However, the weight of traditional domes produces downward and outward thrusts. The downward thrust must be transferred to the foundations, whilst the outward thrust must be resisted to prevent the dome from collapsing. This resistance can be provided by the mass of the supporting walls , by buttresses , or by a tension element such as a perimeter ring, cable or chain. www.designingbuildings.co.UK/wiki/Types_of_dome Okay, it seems as if there's more in regards the chain be it scientific or religious or etc ws

    Selection of people for tests?

Food for thought, may Allahسُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى save us all from being self conceited. lol, tie the camel & rely on Allahسُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى was the lesson. Maybe there's this type of trials or tests that requires certain selection criteria. Surah ‘Asr, Verses 1-3 ﺑِﺴْﻢِ ﺍﻟﻠﻪِ ﺍﻟﺮَّﺣْﻤﻦِ ﺍﻟﺮَّﺣِﻴﻢِ In The Name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful ﻭَﺍﻟْﻌَﺼْﺮِ ﺇِﻥَّ ﺍﻟْﺈِﻧﺴَﺎﻥَ ﻟَﻔِﻲ ﺧُﺴْﺮٍ ﺇِﻟَّﺎ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﺁﻣَﻨُﻮﺍ ﻭَﻋَﻤِﻠُﻮﺍ ﺍﻟﺼَّﺎﻟِﺤَﺎﺕِ ﻭَﺗَﻮَﺍﺻَﻮْﺍ ﺑِﺎﻟْﺤَﻖِّ ﻭَﺗَﻮَﺍﺻَﻮْﺍ ﺑِﺎﻟﺼَّﺒْﺮِ 1. “By Time", 2. “Surely man is in loss," 3. “Save those who believe and do good deeds, and enjoin on each other truth, and enjoin on each other patience. This is a trust that mankind will believe (will have faith), do good deeds irrespective of the circumstances, the truth of Sabr. Signal post, on the plains of Karbala, when it was time for prayer, the pledge was fulfilled by those endowed with those four principles namely; belief(faith), doing good, truthfully patient. Clearly this category is outside of personal doings. An endeavour. It is an aim, a goal. O Lord! Bestow on us the patience and constancy needed for accepting and supporting the Truth. O Lord! All of us are in loss and it is impossible for us to recompense it save with Your Grace. O Lord! We wish to follow the content of the four-principle-command in the Surah; please help us to be successful. Whether or not one losses the camel is a concern when it deprives one the opportunity to offer prayer, it becomes a trial when one offers the prayers as should be without being whimsical about the lost camel, upon finishing, looks for the camel.

    Selection of people for tests?

Bismillah, salam alaykum wrwb. a human being is nurtured through facing difficulties: " it maybe that you dislike a thing & God brings about through it a great deal of good". (4:19) -Problems caused by unforseen events give a spirit to life, making it sweet & bearable. Manifesting the values of blessings & gives the human being the possibility to benefit from being gifted to the extent possible. - noting painful events are confirmations of evil & interpreting them as calamities that are considered to be in opposition to Divine Justice is far from logic & intellectual reasoning because the further we go into this narrow way, we will understand the various philosophies. Those who were pious & Godly were always inflicted with severe catastrophes. Their share was more in receiving Divine blessings but @ the same proportion received too much pains & sorrows. Yet it may happen that you will hate a thing which is better for you, & it may happen that you will love a thing which is worse for you; Allahسُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى knows, & you know not. (2:216) "Soon will We show them Our signs upon the horizons & in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that Thy Nourisher is aware of all things." (41:53) a snakebite is a calamitous yet the same bite & poison is a attack/defence mechanism for the snake inasmuch as the poison is @ times used as a lifesaving medicine. "On the earth are signs for those of assured faith as also in your own selves: will you not then see? (51:20-21) ws

    South Afrika: attack on mosque

people are the servants of the world & religion by their tongues. Till such time that they know that religion does not carry any harm for them, they would move & spin around it. But when the TEST comes then the REAL religous ones are(to be seen) actually few in number." Imam Hussain(as) [day of ashura]... Basira is insight Yaqeen is certainty Have you seen Imam Hussain(as) prayer on the plains of Karbala, those who were his(as) companions taking arrows without using their natural reflexes to avoid pain? They were PATIENT having attained Basira & Yaqeen in their Hearts! ws

    South Afrika: attack on mosque

My YouTube is down inasmuch as i don't have sufficient data to watch the fearful Shi'a Muslim worshipers description of their fear. The imam of the mosque upon being asked whether he was lucky to be alive responded that no, only that he was UNLUCKY to have survived.

    Islamic Jokes and Humor

a certain imam, while preaching to his followers in a mosque said: - when going by graveyards it's good to say a prayer. One day while the imam is travelling with a neighbour, they pass by the graveyards, & he did not stop to say his prayer. His neighbour says to imam: you said we should stop & say a prayer whenever we pass by a gravesite, & you didn't stop. - well, - the imam said, the people of this area never understand anything while they are alive, & will understand even less as dead.
