Even if we ignore Saddam's oppression, he was probably the worst leader in modern history for many reasons. - He took over Iraq officially in 1979 - He starts the 8 year war with Iran in 1980 - Iraq's economy is terrible after the war, so he decides to invade Kuwait in 1990 - He is kicked out of Kuwait in 1991, and the international sanctions which destroyed Iraq begin. Iraq now has no ally or helper. Iraqi airspace is fully controlled by the United States. - The sanctions and pressure remain until 2003 when he is overthrown. That is basically his entire Presidency, Iraq as a nation gained nothing but destruction from his rule.

    1. Strong Army? When did Israel have a strong army? They got their behinds handed to them in 2006. 2. Khaliji countries and Israel are best friends. Specially Saudi. Even the west admits Israel had a hand in creation of ISIS, but i guess there is always that one person ;) 3. We are shias, you mentioning khalid means nothing to us. 4. The only reason you are still around is that i find your arrogance and ignorance slightly amusing. But due to the increased amount of complaints against you, im letting you know so you wont be surprised if your login doesn't work.

The problem Israel is having is that Fatemiyoon, Zeynabioon, rev guard and hezb are now walking distance from the Golan heights, gateway between iran and leb is now open with Iraq and Syria in between, whilst Yemen can potentially close down straight of bab al mandab on command. They might not engage in straight up war, but they already tried unleashing ISIS, it backfired, they will try something else. Unfortunately some muslims will be fooled, some wont and will have to sacrifice blood...to save the day..again.

Salaam Alaykum He made an oficial order that Iraqi people who refuse fighting against Iran, will be cut their ear. He treated people of his own country like this. He used chemical bombs against Iran which is against international laws. All countries on earth helped him to defeat Iran. France sent its military generals to Iraq. Soviet union sent its missiles and war planes. US sold military eqiupments. All countries supported him. According to international laws the country who started war, is obliged to stop and go back to original boundaries. Saddam Hussain started war and didn't go back. Shias didn't kill Saddam Hussain. Those countries who were supporting him one day, killed him. That is the cruelty of western politics. When you have no usage for them, they decide to wipe you out of the earth because they are afraid of you disclosing information on killing Iranians and frightening Iraqi people. Saddam Hussain was not cruel against Iran only. He attacked Kuwait as well. Search on this and see real picture of this devil. He was a cruel distator. I think the environment that you live in, give you wrong information. Search on internet and youtube to see his real cruel picture.

Killing an innocent person is like killing the whole humanity, It says it clearly in the Quran? Question is... Do you believe in the Quran, Shah? What good is it in him, when he buries people alive like it's nothing? They let them cry out of pain of the torture.... You would never know, would you?

Salam Alaikum, He was just another Hitler who killed thousands of Muslims, like not just Shia Muslims, he even killed alot of kurds too. There are many Sunnis (not all) who think he's a good leader for some reason like I don't get it, just because he killed mainly Shias that doesn't mean that they can still praise him. This is the story I have heard: America hated Iran and still does, because Ayatollah Khomeini was the Islamic leader and Iran was rising in power and also because it was a Shia country. And because of that, the Americans decide to put Saddam in power and make him a president so that he can attack them, and since Saddam hated shias he fought Iran for eight years and they even gave him weapons and along the other soldiers who didn't even want to fight Iran in the first place because they were still in good terms it's just that Saddam forced them. Saddam also killed many shia clerics, and famous Shia people, like is this even humanity? Shias weren't even allowed to work in the government, there wasn't many opportunities for them and the Sunnis were favoured more. But then suddenly Saddam starts to go against Israel, which angered the Americans, so they decided to wage war on him, realising that he was no good. So yeah as you can see, Saddam was a mass murderer and so was his son. And apparently during his time people would sell books about Shias being kuffar

[I really recommend and urge you to read this, this is purely for the intention of helping you!] Salam Alaikum, Many believe Imam Mahdi will reappear, become the king of the world, fill the world with justice, complete his mission, and die. This is true. Many also believe he is the twelfth guided imam. This is also true. But what many DONT know is that Imam Mahdi (a.j) knows every single action we do, and all the secret good deeds we perform, just as Allah I do not have the source right now, but we have traditions that tell us every Wednesday and Thursday, Allah reports all of our actions to Imam Mahdi (a.j). Just how wonderful is that? We also have evidence in the Holy Quran. In Surah Tawbah (surah 9) verse 105, we read, "And say, “Go on working: Allah will see your conduct, and His Apostle and the faithful”. According to our eighth imam, Imam al-Ridha (a.s); this verse refers to the imam of the time, and it means that Allah, rasulullah (s) and the imam of the time (a.j) will be aware of what you have performed. Please, when you have a chance to commit a righteous deed, whether it be small or big; do it. There is NO shame in losing money for a good cause(not only money can make a person's day). Don't you know that Imam al-Hassan ibn Ali (a) lost ALL of his money twice in his lifetime by giving to the poor? Or that he lost half of all his money 3 times by giving/caring for the poor? Let me share just one incident from our eighth holy imam, Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha (a). "His holiness was unique in his time in generosity and favoring the poor. One year, on the day of ʿArafa (the 9th day of Dhul-Hijjah), he gave away all his property. Fadhl b. Sahl said, “This is damage and loss.” His holiness said, “Never consider as a loss what through which you have obtained reward and magnanimity.” Reference- (Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 49, p. 100.) For the Muslim men and women, I urge you, when you are about to commit a sin, ask yourself, is it really worth it? If during your lifetime, you will have the honor to see the blessed face of our imam, Imam al-Hujjat al-Mahdi (a.j), how embarrassing will it feel to know that he knows you committed that one sin? Or how embarrassing will it be for him (a.j) to know you seen that poor man on the street, or that poor woman on the street, or maybe that poor child on the street, and drove by not donating a cent? Do you not know that Allah is very pleased when you commit righteous deeds? Do you not know that rasulullah, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s) smiles when you go and sit by a lonely person, and have a chat with them, ask them how their day went? Or do you not realize that all twelve of the imams (a) especially the one living (aj), pray and intercede for us because of our righteous actions? Why disappoint them? Have they not already gone through enough for us? Why do you think they had such hard lives?! It was all for our guidance! If you claim to be a Muslim and don't follow in their holy footsteps, you need to reflect. I remember seeing on TV a Wahabbi/Salafi reading through the events of Karbala and sobbing emotionally. Why? Because he is human. Human beings have emotions, brothers and sisters. We need to stop thinking only about our selves, and realize other people around us have troubles and difficulties in life as well. Why shouldn't we ease their problems, help them out, or just smile walking past them? If you go around the world, it would be hard to see someone look at you with a smile. Either they stare at you for 2 seconds and look away when you look, or they don't look at all. Trust me when I say that one smile can make someone's entire day. Brothers and sisters, we must be more aware of our actions. Everyone reads in the Holy Quran that Allah is the "All-knowing", but do we really comprehend what it means? Do we realize that what this means is that if we are in the darkest spot in the Earth and commit a sin, Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى reacts in a split second and records it? Or do we not realize that Rasulullah sees that act? How disappointing would that be? Just imagine walking to Imam al-Mahdi (aj) in his home in Kufa, and seeing a change in his face because he knows you committed that one sin? O brothers and sisters, I have not only written this for you to ease others' lives, but for your own benefits as well. Below is the dua the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s) recited when distressed or troubled, worried or sad. From al-Am: Narrated from Zayd, from his fathers, , who said: Whenever the Noble Prophet (s) was distressed or troubled he would recite the following dua: O Ever-living! O Ever-lasting! O Ever-living who never dies! O Ever-living there is no god but You. Remover of the troubles! Answerer of the calls of the desperate! I ask You, as all praise is due to You – there is no god but You – O Bestower of Favors! Originator of the heavens and the earth! Lord of Might and Glory! The Beneficent in this world and the next and the Merciful in them both! O Lord! Bless me with the mercy that would make me free from needing mercy from other than You, O Most Merciful of the merciful. The Noble Prophet (s) said: “Whoever, from among the Muslims, recites this dua three times is guaranteed to get what he asks for except if it (what he asks for) is a sin or if he has broken off ties with his close relatives.” http://www.duas.org/prophetprayer/43.htm#_ednref1 Salam

@Shah Khan I just want to add that to know the truth is to know yourself and to know yourself is know and worship Allah who is Al-Haqq. Don't follow something that you are uncertain of, learn about this path lest you jump into it blindly and get lost. Religion is not a game, that's the very first thing I was told when I decided to be a Muslim. You would do well to remember this to heart, insha'Allah.

(5:51 O YOU who have attained to faith! Do not take the Jews and the Christians for your Wali: they are but Wali of one another and whoever of you allies himself with them becomes, verily, one of them; behold, God does not guide such evildoers. The word 'Wali' in Arabic is very similar in meaning to the word 'Wakil', which I mentioned in my post. Wali is someone who protects someone and helps them to carry out the essential aspects of life (such as giving them financial support, helping them with their relationship with God, etc). Sometimes this verse is mistranslated and people translate 'Wali' as 'Friend' meaning we cannot be friends with Christians or Jews. This is a wrong translation. We can be friends, coworkers, do business with them, etc, but we cannot make them our 'Wali' or 'Wakil'. This verse specifically prohibits that. (2:233) 2:233 And the [divorced] mothers may nurse their children for two whole years, if they wish to complete the period of nursing; and it is incumbent upon him who has begotten the child to provide in a fair manner for their sustenance and clothing. No human being shall be burdened with more than he is well able to bear: neither shall a mother be made to suffer because of her child, nor, because of his child, he who has begotten it. And the same duty rests upon the [father's] heir. And if both [parents] decide, by mutual consent and counsel, upon separation [of mother and child], they will incur no sin [thereby]; and if you decide to entrust your children to foster-mothers, you will incur no sin provided you ensure, in a fair manner, the safety of the child which you are handing over. But remain conscious of God, and know that God sees all that you do. - This verse shows that it is the duty of the father (and noone else) to provide financially for the child and the mother. This means he is the Wali or Wakil. Here is another verse from Quran 1. The permissibility of a Muslim man marrying a woman from the ahl al-kitab (‘People of the Book’) is understood from the Qur’anic verse, “It is lawful for you to marry chaste Muslim women and chaste women of the People of the Book when you have given them their dowries.” (5:5) According to most scholars, this verse specifies or abrogates a previous verse of the Qur’an (2:221) that prohibited men and women from marrying non-Muslim polytheists. The exception in Qur’an 5:5 was only extended to men and not to women as is clear. As such, the permission to marry the ahl al-kitab only extends to men. [al-Jassas, Ahkam al-Qur’an (2:15-20); al-Qurtubi, Jami li-ahkam al-Qur’an (2:453-57)] From http://seekershub.org/ans-blog/2017/01/11/muslim-woman-not-allowed-marry-non-muslim-man/ I think this should be sufficient. There are additional hadiths on this, if you need additional proof. There are some scholars (such as Sayyid Sistani(may Allah(s.w.a) prolong his life)) who say that it is also not permissible for a muslim man to marry a Christian or Jewish women in permenant marriage (zawaj tul nikah). Also, this is not one of those issues where there is a difference between Sunni and Shia scholars. It is basically a universal opinion.

Everyone thinks he was just really strong, no one could get in his way.. etc. But you don't know what truly happened in his life I wonder how Imam Ali (a) felt during his last days... he suffered more than anyone did. First, he was protecting the prophet (s) in everything. He was winning all of the battles, being praised so much in the Quran, and the holy prophet (s) kept on bragging about Imam Ali (a) to the companions. Ali (a) and the prophet (s) were the best of friends, so much that the prophet (s) would call Ali (a) his brother. Ali (a) was always smiling . The companions kept congratulating him. They were happy for him. He who roamed the streets during the night time, giving his earnings and belongings to the orphans sleeping on the streets. He fed them with a mask on, hoping no one would find out of his generous deed. Little did he know, the All mighty Lord exposed him in the Qur'an! Then, when the prophet (s) passed away, his rights were taken and no one stood up for him, even though just a few months ago they were all praising him. His Fatima (s) was taken from him. He had a son arriving along the way (Mohsin), but he too returned to his Lord, with his mother Fatima (s). Then, he finally got his rights; he became the caliph. No Muslim obeyed him. The wife of the Prophet (s), A'isha declared war on him, and started the first Muslim fitna, wishing to destroy Ali's rank. But little did she know, Ali was dubbed Master of the Muslims by no other than Allah, the Supreme. They thought that as his age grew, his might and bravery would vanish, and how wrong were they. He was Lion of Allah, and he remained Lion of Allah, even in his sixties. Ali ended this, and he forgave her. Unlike how they treated him, Imam still respected her position as wife of the prophet... but she wanted him dead. He who dressed like the slaves, like the poor class, even though he was the highest in power; why was no one listening to him? He who does not eat anymore than dry bread and water, He who fought for the oppressed.. he helped anyone, he did not even look at the "social status". Then, another Muslim; Mu'awiyah starts a war on him, for what reason? His army branches off and blames him for no solid reason, he has now lost a fraction of his men. His own previous men become the Khawarij and warred against him. Why? Was he not the caliph? Were they not supposed to obey him? Indeed, they took advantage of his mercy.. No caliph before him had to war with fellow Muslims. Why was it that the only Muslim that was praised by everyone was hated the most during his time? There was a point where Imam Ali (a) punched the ground, saying that he has so much to offer to the people but no one will take from him, but the ground understands him. He then went to the mosque to pray, watching as some ducks were pulling his ab'aa (dress), urging him not to enter the mosque; they were crying for his fate, they too knew. Imam entered the mosque, recited the adhan. Ibn Muljam was sleeping on his stomach, with his poisonous sword visible under his cloak. Imam seen it and didn't comment. "Get up, O Abdul Rahman Ibn Muljam. It is time for salah. Do not sleep on your stomach, for verily that is the sleep of shaytaan." The holy imam began his prayer. He got into his final sujood, and uttered his dhikr. As he was raising his head back up, the death-dealing, toxic sword of Ibn Muljam struck his forehead, on the exact spot 'Amr struck him during his youth. The poison was already swimming in the imam's blood. "I have succeeded, by the lord of the Ka'aba," says the Islamic hero, as his sons al-Hasan and al-Husayn rush to save him. Enough of this world you have already endured, O Ali. The people have betrayed you, O Ali, and the ones who loved you were deceiving. Return to your lord, O Amir Al Mu'mineen. Whenever you are being oppressed, or being treated unjustly, remember him! He was treated unjustly by everyone! Make it your mission to achieve jannah (heaven/parafise)!! Imam Ali (a) tells us his true shia will be his neighbors in paradise!

    About compulsory hijab issue

'Mandatory lifeguard service' or 'compulsory diving training' doesn't exist in any country yet so opting to wear swimsuit for work would be a choice. Hijab isn't a choice irrespective of what iranian govt or the french government says. Hijab is wajib. You really believe wearing hijab would please Allah?if yes, then what's stopping you? You mentioned elsewhere that you might be relocating to KSA after marriage.I pray your husband fills your life with happiness. Are you aware that you might have to put on an abaya there? You would be willing to adopt a dress code to be physically closer to your husband but not to our Creator? Allah wants to see us submit to his orders. When Allah tells us to do something WE DO IT,no questions asked.

God created everything purely out of charitable love and mercy. The natural human response to charity is appreciation/ gratitude / thankfulness (shukr) rather than ingratitude (kufr) which is due to unappreciation or not acknowledging (not having iman) that God is Charitable and Merciful. If one is not grateful, if one does not appreciate or acknowledge the mercy of God (if one is a kafir) then he is not doing what is natural and in-keeping with his nature (his fitrah) It turns out that we can never pay back our debt to God. We can never be sufficiently grateful or thankful to God. This is because our gratefulness is only made possible through and by God Himself. One way God enables us to be thankful to Him is by giving us a prescription to follow (the laws of what to do and what not to do, the rituals, and the rites). All of this is for our own benefit in order to fulfill our need to be thankful and grateful to God.

It is the law of the country, it is as simple as that. You can stay or you can leave. Hijab is not a personal thing, it affects the society and everyone in it. To take an extreme example: If every women suddenly started to walk out naked out of their homes into public, would this affect the people around them or not? As far as maintaining halal and forbidding haram, would it be affected or not.

Which code are you going to follow to decide what's 'basic decency'? Some people might view a above the knee skirt worn with a full sleeved blouse as decent. Is it common to see women turning up at work wearing swimsuits. No? Why? because that's not office appropriate dress as dictated by the codes and standards of the society. My point here was that we are willing to conform to societal standards for our careers and to be just generally accepted but we will not want to comply with Allah's laws. Lawyer wearing suits to work everyday?yes. Doctors wearing white coats?why not. Cousin told everyone to wear green to her pre wedding party? Of course, she is my favourite cousin, don't want to disappoint her. Wear a hijab....ooh it's my life, you can't tell me what to wear...stop judging me if I decide not to.

Alarm bells need to be ringing when reading things like this. I was actually eating when i read this and it ruined my appetite. Nahjul Balagha, Sermon 126 : Ali (as) said: “With regard to me, two categories of people will be ruined, namely he who loves me too much (extremists) and the love takes him away from rightfulness, and he who hates me too much and the hatred takes him away from rightfulness. The best man with regard to me is he who is on the middle course." حمدويه، قال حدثنا يعقوب، عن ابن أبي عمير، عن شعيب، عن أبي بصير، قال : قلت لأبي عبد الله (عليه السلام) إنهم يقولون قال و ما يقولون قلت يقولون تعلم قطر المطر و عدد النجوم و ورق الشجر و وزن ما في البحر و عدد التراب، فرفع يده إلى السماء، و قال سبحان الله سبحان الله لا و الله ما يعلم هذا إلا الله 532. Hamdawayh who said: narrated to us Ya’qub from Ibn Abi Umayr from Shuayb from Abi Basir who said: I said to Abi Abdillah عليه السلام – they do say, he said: and what do they say? I said: they say that you know the number of the drops in the rain, and the number of the stars, and the number of leaves in all the trees, and the weight of what is in the ocean, and the number of sand particles, so he عليه السلام raised his hand to the sky and said: praise be to Allah, praise be to Allah, no by Allah, no one knows this except for Allah. 398. Narrated to me al-Husayn bin al-Hasan bin Bundar al-Qummiy who said: narrated to me Sa’d bin Abdallah bin Abi al-Khalaf who said: narrated to us Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Isa from Ya’qub bin Yazid AND Muhammad bin Isa bin Ubayd from Muhammad bin Abi Umayr who said: narrated to us one of our companions who said: I said to Abi Abdillah عليه السلام - Abu Harun – the blind one – claims that you said to him – 'if you want the Eternal then no one can perceive him, but if you want the one who creates and gives out sustenance then he is Muhammad bin Ali عليه السلام', so he عليه السلام said: he has lied upon me, may Allah curse him, by Allah there is no creator except for Allah, Alone, without any partner, it is Allah’s right over us to make us taste death, and the one who does not perish is Allah, the creator of the creations, and the maker of the maked ones. 172. Narrated to us Muhammad bin Qulawayh who said: narrated to me Sa’d bin Abdallah who said: narrated to us Ya’qub bin Yazid AND Muhammad bin Isa from Ali bin Mahziyar from Fadhala bin Ayyub al-Azdiy from Aban bin Uthman who said: I heard Aba Abdillah عليه السلام say: may Allah curse Abdallah bin Saba, he claimed divinity for Amir al-Mu’minin, and Amir al-Mu’minin was by Allah an obedient slave, woe be upon the one who lies upon us, there is a group that says about us what we do not say about ourselves, we disassociate to Allah from them, we disassociate to Allah from them. إبراهيم بن محمد بن العباس، قال حدثني أحمد بن إدريس القمي، عن حمدان بن سليمان، عن محمد بن الحسين، عن ابن فضال، عن أبي المغراء، عن عنبسة، قال، : قال أبو عبد الله (عليه السلام) لقد أمسينا و ما أحد أعدى لنا ممن ينتحل مودتنا 555. Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin al-Abbas who said: narrated to me Ahmad bin Idris al-Qummiy from Hamdan bin Sulayman from Muhammad bin al-Husayn from Ibn Fadhal from Abi al-Maghra from Anbasa who said: Abu Abdillah عليه السلام said: we have woken up (i.e. a time has reached) and there is no one who is more inimical (and enemy to us) than those who claim to love us. NOTE: The Imam is referring to the Ghulat who exaggerated their status and nullified their activities of guiding the believers and protecting Islam. 191. Narrated to me Muhammad b. Masud who said: narrated to me Abu Abdallah al-Husayn b. Ushkayb who said: narrated to me Muhammad b. Awrama from al-Husayn b. Said who said: narrated to me Ali b. al-Numan from Ibn Muskan from Dhurays who said: Abu Khalid al-Kabali said to me: as for me - I am going to narrate to you a narration - if you see it (i.e. materializing) while I am still alive - you will say: he was (has been) truthful to (with) me, and if I were to die before you see it - you will pray for mercy on me and supplicate for me, I heard Ali b. al-Husayn عليهما السلام say: the Jews loved Uzayr until they said about him what they said, so Uzayr is not from them, nor are they from Uzayr (i.e. he has nothing to do with them - and likewise they with him), and the Christians loved Isa until they said about him what they said, so Isa is not from them, nor are they from him, and we are upon a similar course (path) like (of) that, a group from our Shia will love us until they will say about us that which the Jews said about Uzayr and that which the Christians said about Isa b. Maryam, so they are not from us, nor are we from them.

Everyone is responsible for the knowledge that they have. People are rewarded or punished not only based on their apparent action, but on the belief, knowledge, and intention behind the action. The fact that Allah(s.w.a) exists, He(s.w.a) is One, All Powerful, Merciful, etc and that Muhammad(p.b.u.h) is the Messenger of Allah(s.w.a) is quite obvious. If anyone doesn't believe the preceding and would like to have a discussion, I would be glad to oblige. Any sincere person seeking the truth will find it. The only ones who don't find the truth are the ones who are not looking for it. They are not looking for it because they are averse to it. They are averse to it because they are afraid that if they find it and accept it they will have to give up something of their lusts and habits (i.e. some of the dunya which they falsely believe they can't do without). So those people who live many years and decades on this earth and never make any sort of effort to seek out the truth or reject it after they find it are people who have forgotten about their Creator(s.w.a). So their Creator(s.w.a) has forgotten about them, and since Allah(s.w.a) is the source of all happiness, goodness, peace, mercy, basically every good thing, when Allah(s.w.a) forgets about you, you have noone and nothing and the result of that is punishment (the absence of good). Especially now, in the modern world, where we have access to more information and good sources of information than any previous generation in human history, we have the responsibility to seek out the truth and once we find it to follow it.

    Will Israel-Hizbollah war break out?

Listen, Hezbullah is part of Wilayat al faqih,... that is no secret. As part of wilayat al Faqih they adhere to the leader Syd Ali Khamanei. Wilayat al Faqih has never instigated a war ever. The western powers have started a campaign against Syria, they painted it as a revolution in disguise as a way to break the axis of resistance between Iran and Lebanon because that is the only land route between the two and Assad allows the transfer of weapons between the two. The west and ksa paid billions to syrian mercenaries to fight as well as swarmed Syria with satanic wahhabis disguised as muslims. All the groups over there are wahhabis under different labels. All of them were bred to hate and kill shias. They are there under the pretext of fighting the shia axis and not "liberating" Syria. They have shown their true colors by attacking Sayyeda Zeinab shrine and even tried to attack Lebanon numerous of times. If anyone here still thinks USA and KSA want democracy in Syria they are flat out idiots. Syd Khamanei has made a fatwa to kill the takfiri terrorist and deemed it a legal jihad. Hizbullah first went to Syria to protect the shrine of Sayyed Zeinab and then continued to rid it of takfiris. They are there as allies of Assad and have every right to be there as long as the Syrian regime allows it, which it does. The rest of the apes have no right to be in Syria.. So @Mishael im sorry hizbullah are terrorizing your apes... I hope they continue to do so until every last one of them is dead. Hizbullah is an islamic resistance, they do not go around killing women and children and raping them like the "rebels" do. They treat their prisoners humanely and do not target civilians. I know this because almost everyone in my village is hizbullah and they are the kindest, most pious, fathers, sons, and brothers you will ever meet. You on the other hand listen to what your mother tells you from saudi arabia and spread out this nonsense crap and think you know it all. Stay quiet and learn.

We are like broken bones, we have no value, we can't damage Allah at all. We can only damage ourselves, spirtually and physically. He doesn't need us! Nor will he ever need us! He is one! The most just, the great! My lord that knows what I hide or reveal!

He doesn't need our worship, He made us to worship. We need to worship, and so we need others to worship.

    Thoughts 2018

My point was that scholars should be more responsible with their words. When they give such lectures, men think it's okay to expect so much from women. It's not in my head, shia scholars are becoming more misogynist and racist in their lectures. I am getting tired of people always talking about Karbala and Infallibles. These people are always telling other people to sacrifice and protect Islam like Islam is in some kind of danger, while they themselves live luxurious lives. Forget about Holy personalities and infallibles, in Today's world, it is hard to be a human being. If someone manages to act like a human, he /she deserves appreciation. I am hoping you second post was not for me.

I really hate seeing shia praise Assad. I really respect shaykh nimr al-nimr (ra) for speaking against Assad and having a consistent stance against tyrants. You should read about Syrian involvement in the Lebanese civil war if you haven't.

Salam my dear brother, he who is filled with knowledge, He understands intercession and does not have a problem with it. He is concerned with the fact that some shias actually do sujood to an imam's grave, and say, "O Ali! Give me Rizk, O All mighty Ali, Grant me sustenance!", and the likes of that speech. That's what he means by, "leading to shirk"

    A Creator or Creators?

Brother Exaggeration of masoomeen(a.s) statuses? This is as per Quran “Verily, the likeness of ‘Eesa (Jesus) before Allaah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: ‘Be!’ — and he was” [Aal ‘Imraan 3:59] Ali(a.s) is Yadhullah, Ainullah, Asadullah, wajhullah and it goes on... So since Ali (a.s) is the hand of Allah do we believe that Ali(a.s) created Adam(a.s)? Brother honestly, There is nothing as such as exaggerating their status, the reason being is in order to exaggerate someone's status you have to know their limitations first and nobody knows the limit of Prophet Mohammad(saww) and Ali(a.s). No one knows their limit.

    Ate/Eating/Will Eat?

This place is in the bazaar in Isfahan (the one that runs between the square and the jumah mosque, in case there are others). It's been there for a long time so likely worth looking out for. Download the pic to your phone and show it to the locals - because the bazaar is huge. They just do one dish, it's a sort of shami kebab type thing (I'm not a foodie). Still trying to get my brother in law to send me the pic of a really good place next door to the Shah Abdul Azeem shrine in Tehran, will post soon inshallah.
