Assalmu Alaykum,

i just wanted to know if anyone has dreamed of Imam Al Mehdi and actually saw him in the dream...this is possible because it has happened, but i wanted to see if the people who did dream of him, had similar dreams..... and if you have, do you think that he was calling upon you to become one of his soldiers?

it is crucial that i recieve as much input as possible, and please be truthful....

(salam)

Dreams are very delicate, even the slightest change in a dream can completely change its meaning. Seeing Any of the Prophets or the ahlulbait in the dream is regarded as good but this is not always the case.

Lets take 2 dreams for example, in one dream the prophet is seen standing on a dry, arid land  and in the other he is seen standing is someone's court yard which is also dry and arid. In the first instance the interpretation would be that the dry land will become green and verdant, while in the second instance the interpretation would be that fire and destruction will visit that place.

Rasuallah Has said: "Whoever sees me or my ahlulbait in his dream has truely seen us. For the devil is unable to assume our form."

So any one who sees such individuals in his dream has inface been blessed with their presence but the other details of the dream would point out as to what the Imam or prophet was sent to inform the dreamer of. One must remember that some times sinners are also blessed with the presence of such individuals so that they would take a lesson from it and quit their sinful acts.

Every dream has its individual meaning, Seeing imam mehdi and his army could mean a number of things, the intepretation would vary from person to person, the details would vary hense altering the interpretation.

Allah hafiz

Ali
"These are on a guidance from there lord, and these are they who are successful."
[Al - Luqman ayat 5] [Al - Baqarah ayat 5]

I had a very strange dream. I was talking to my friends about Imam Mehdi a.s after some prayers (probably fajr) and the we realised the sun was not comming out for ages. And then when it did it came from the the wrong place because in the place we were (my house) i always see the sunrise from my window but then it came from behind. I heard that is one of the signs of Imam Mehdi a.s zuhur but b4 that dream i never believed it could happen and now because i sorta lived thru it i do believe it.

Yes brother, it is a sign of Imam Mahdi (ATFS) and also The Day of Judgement sign. It is the sign when sun will rise from the west. Normally it will rise from East. May Allah (SWT) hasten reappearance of awaited Imam Mahdi (ATFS).

How does one recieve these dreams? My dreams are pointless. Though, I had one beneficial one when I first reverted.
"The [Bhagavad] Gita is the universal mother. I find a solace in the Bhagavad Gita that I miss even in the Sermon on the Mount. When disappointment stares me in the face and all alone I see not one ray of light, I go back to the Bhagavad Gita. I find a verse here and a verse there, and I immediately begin to smile in the midst of overwhelming tragedies - and my life has been full of external tragedies - and if they have left no visible or indelible scar on me, I owe it all to the teaching of Bhagavad Gita." - Mahatma Gandhi

my father has had a dream about Imam Mehdi, Prophet Moses,Prophet Jesus,Imam Ali,Lady Fatimah, and the holy prophet of islam (p.b.u.a.o.t)

O Allah, we ardently desire that in (his) (Imam Mahdi a.s) kind, just and fair era. You should reactivate Islam and stimulate its followers and humble and humiliate the impostors and their double dealing, and include us among those who invite people unto Your obedience, and lead them to Your approved path and give us the good of this world and the hereafter.

Hussain is Deen and also the protector of Deen,
He gave his head but not his hand of allegiance in the hand of Yazid.
Indeed he was the founder (Like his grandfather) of the concept of One God.

Salams

I have not dreamt of Imam Mehdi (as) but have seen Imam Ali (as) and Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) both in the one same dream, and then Imam Ali (as) again in a separate dream again.

It was amazing, I woke up so refreshed. I felt spiritually cleansed.

Happy are those who hold on to our handle and are brought together upon our love."

I had a dream that I was Imam al-Mehdi.

I woke up and said "A'outhou bilahi minal Shaytan'al rajeem", because I know that I'm not.

Salam,

hmm.. I've heard it's not good to share your dreams with others, for every person has a different interpretation of dreams and sometimes those interpretations can lead us somewhere...unusual.
