Where is Sakina?
Visualize a cold cellar,
where the only luminance,
is the broken stream of sunlight,
crossing the narrow cleft in the wall.
Within sight;
is a little girl,
with her arms locked in chains,
embracing what seems like a bruised head.
She wants to cry,
but halts; the instant,
she sees the blue lips of her father move.
She places her tiny hand gently on his lips,
sealing every wound on his face,
by laying upon it a kiss.
How can a father caress his darling,
to show his affection to her five year old,
when his body lays trampled by the horses?
Sakina, a second Umm e Abiha*,
for she reads her father a lullaby,
as she brings his head closer to her chest.
Father, she whispers;
I donot complain of my thirst, my swollen arms;
or of my torn ear lobes.
I simply wish to let you known,
that life without you is painful & sore.
* Umm e Abiha - Mother of her father (a title given to Sayida Fatima Al-Zahra (sa) )

Is there a vacant space for my tears,
where I could let them speak for me?
where I could let them speak for me?

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH&HF) said: "He who wants to see Noah (AS) in his determination, Adam (AS) in his knowledge, Abraham (AS) in his clemency, Moses (AS) in his intelligence and Jesus (AS) in his religious devotion should look at Ali Ibn Abi Talib (AS)."
Sunni references:
- Sahih al-Bayhaqi
- Musnad Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, as quoted in
- Sharh Ibn Abil Hadid, v2, p449
- Tafsir al-Kabir, by Fakhruddin al-Razi, under the commentary of the Verse of Imprecation (Mubahilah), v2 p288. He wrote this tradition has been accepted as all genuine.
- Ibn Batah has recorded it as a tradition related by Ibn Abbas as is stated in the book "Fat'h al-Mulk al-Ali bi Sihah Hadith-e-Bab-e-Madinat al-Ilm", p34, by Ahmad Ibn Muhammad Ibn Siddeeq al-Hasani al-Maghribi.
