Originally, from what I've read, Palestinians accounted for roughly 73% of the entire population of the country, with Jews, Christians, and others combined making up the other 27%.

why was the partition idea in 1947 rejected? there has to be a justified reason...or is it that hindsight is always 20/20?

I believe Jordan is the intended home of the "Palestinians", more then 60% of Jordan's population consists of Palestinians.
I am against violence on both sides but I do believe in the right of Israel to exist and for it to defend itself.

Israel is the cause of all poverty and war in the middle east.

Because the Arabs are unproductive and retrogressive it isn't because of Israel. Praise be to Allah that I am not an Arab.

Greg,
You should be more worried about getting land back to the American Indians and Mexicans which your people took from them.

Carefull greg you might confuse him with all your big words. There are no American Indians, who are currently forced to live as refugees. If there were any, I would be the first to call for their "right of return".
As for Mexicans, there were none who were ethnically cleansed. When the US took over the territories of Texas and other parts of the southwest, full citizenship was granted to all those who were resident in those territores. They didn't have to worry about some low life buffoonish racists saying that they "believe Mexico is the intended home of the Hispanic Americans", or any such nonsense.

I found this basic map very interesting. I've been reading the history of the Palestine/Israel conflict today (as well as the history of Zionism), and found this map online (one of many), so I thought I'd post it here. Have a look.

O Allah, we ardently desire that in (his) (Imam Mahdi a.s) kind, just and fair era. You should reactivate Islam and stimulate its followers and humble and humiliate the impostors and their double dealing, and include us among those who invite people unto Your obedience, and lead them to Your approved path and give us the good of this world and the hereafter.
