(salam)
Someone posted this in another thread and I thought it was too important to be missed and more people will read it this way. For all those who were friends with Ali Naqi or knew him, insha'Allah reading this will put your heart at ease and you can feel reassured that he has reached his destination. Moreover, as the poster pointed out, it's a good wake up call for us to prepare for death.

salaam rawshni bhaaji!!

mashallah that was very heart touching!!

A relative of (marhum Syed Ali Naqi Shah son of Syed Masloob Hussain Shah) had a dream about him and he was saying that he has reached his destination but it was very hard reaching it " bari okhi manzil thi", these wer the words by him in the dream.

This shows that even though he was a good momin aswell as only being baaligh for a few years in addition to sooo many people praying for him, the countlless quran recitation and naamaaz e washat prayers, he went through a hard time in reaching his destination and passing his exams. So this is definantly a wake up call for all of us to get prepared for death!!

ya ali madath!!

it was the son, i believe, of Imam Khomenei (ra) who had a dream about him shortly after his death that Imam said to him I have reached the destination but it was very very difficult.

God help us.

~This World is a laughter of a weeping Man - Imam Ali (as)

The foremost in religion is the acknowledgement of Him, the perfection of acknowledging Him is to testify Him, the perfection of testifying Him is to believe in His Oneness, the perfection of believing in His Oneness is to regard Him Pure, and the perfection of His purity is to deny Him attributes, because every attribute is a proof that it is different from that to which it is attributed and everything to which something is attributed is different from the attribute. Thus whoever attaches attributes to Allah recognises His like, and who recognises His like regards Him two; and who regards Him two recognises parts for Him; and who recognises parts for Him mistook Him; and who mistook Him pointed at Him; and who pointed at Him admitted limitations for Him; and who admitted limitations for Him numbered Him.

Yeah, I've heard that too. As soon as I read the post about the dream, that's what came to mind.

I heard it differently.  I heard that he dreamt that Imam Khomeni was being welcomed by the 14 masumeen :) into a room. And as soon as he woke up he heard the news of the death of Imam Khomeni. I may be mistaken.

As for Bro ali naqi... may Allah swt bless his soul  And may Allah help us on our path towards our final destination as well :) and bring us all closer to the AhlulBayt a.s.

You are mistaken. It was actually one of the Ayatollah's of the time (either Gulpaygani or Behjat, I believe) who dreamt this and then called Khomeini's son and heard of his passing.

Anybody read "Journey to the Unseen World"?

ditto gothic, God help us all...

wa'salam

He it is Who has sent down to you (O Muhammad) the Book (the Holy Quran): In it are verses that are entirely clear; they are the foundation of the Book: while others are more difficult to understand. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is difficult to understand, seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord: and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding. (Holy Quran 3:7)

Those who believe and do good deeds shall be blessed with joy, and a beautiful place of (final) return. (Holy Quran 13:29)

It would do well if some of us here could also try to inquire into what causes dreams in the first place, what the dreams are, how they come about, what their significance is, etc. etc. . .
