Yaa Ali Madad
Typed words
By some unique miracle
Echo still
In my ears anon
Yaa Ali Madad
For years I had been drawn
To this sound
And to the ones,who
In but the space of a single breath
Would and could proclaim
Who they are, what they stand for
Yaa Ali Madad
Across bleak distances
Connected
Yet afar, far away from you
From you often did I hear
This self-defining phrase
Yaa Ali Madad
My ears, they had become
So used to that distant sound
Clear across the web
Reaching out like an invisible hand
To anoint the heart
Yaa Ali Madad
And then that fateful day in March I learnt
That sound would be no more
No more the banter, the teasing
The half serious plans
Nothing, nothing remained
What to do but cry out for succour
Yaa Ali Madad
Today it pains the heart to say
“You were”
When, just two score days ago
Always it was “You are . . .”
-- and now that always is also, was . . .
Today, your sweet and gentle soul
Sets forth towards another stage
Some say, alone, and in testing circumstance
But I know, with you goes all along the way
Yaa Ali Madad
Blessed be, simple and sweet child

mashallah that was very heart touching!!
A relative of (marhum Syed Ali Naqi Shah son of Syed Masloob Hussain Shah) had a dream about him and he was saying that he has reached his destination but it was very hard reaching it " bari okhi manzil thi", these wer the words by him in the dream.
This shows that even though he was a good momin aswell as only being baaligh for a few years in addition to sooo many people praying for him, the countlless quran recitation and naamaaz e washat prayers, he went through a hard time in reaching his destination and passing his exams. So this is definantly a wake up call for all of us to get prepared for death!!
ya ali madath!!

shall be called away (by Allah) and I shall answer that call. I am
leaving for you two precious things and if you adhere both of them,
you will never go astray after me. They are the Book of Allah and my
progeny, that is my Ahlul-Bayt. The two shall never separate from each
other until they come to me by the Pool (of Paradise)."

Great poem! The words leap at the reader from the screen and entrance him.
