jazak Allah. one question . how can we listen to whole surats . eg.if i want to listen to whole surat hamd or ayatul kursi ( not clicking every verse to hear it ) then how it works. an advice. wouldn't it better to add an urdu translation to it too as most of the peoples who  who visits this site r urdu speakers.
thanks

Salam Alaikum,

Alhamdullilah, due to recent work on the site/server, we were finally able to add the Quran feature.   Now you can read, search and listen to Quran directly from ShiaChat.com.  Simply slick on the "Quran" link and the rest is self explanatory.

Please report any errors to me.

Wa salam,
Ali

I have a question. Would it be possible to add like an instant quran play button on the home page. So like, as soon as my comp opens up to the shiachat homepage, there's a button there and all I need to do is click play and it plays and I can listen to the quran while I'm browsing shiachat (ie. it doesn't even need to go into a new page and stuff for it to play, there can just be a play button on the main page). If you guys decide to add something like that, then maybe you could put the surah it plays on a rotated basis daily (eg: if you visit shiachat today it will play surah al fatihah, tomorrow surah al baqarah, the day after surah al imran and so on and so forth and back to the beginning after 114 days......ofcourse if ur on shiachat for hours and the surah it started with has finished then it will go on to the next surah, but I mean the surah it starts with).

Not sure if I'm making any sense

Salams,

Lol, it's an extra click for you to do that sis, c'mon!

You "Click" on [QURAN: Read/Listen/Search]  and then Click on the Surah you want to play.

^Yeah, one click too many! :P

lol na well actually I just thought it might be good for non Muslims because from the numerous revert stories I've read, or reverts I've come across, a huge portion of them were attracted to Islam simply by hearing/reading the quran (and for alot of them, they didn't even have the curiosity to begin with, but just sort of came across the quran). Also, some people have slow internet so it takes ages for each page to load.

Then again, I know virtually nothing about computers and have no idea what it would take to install something like that, so just do whatever you think is best! Thanks again for the great feature :D

asalamu alaykum

firstly i would like to congratulate you on this excellent feature
you know what would be interesting if you could make sub categories in the search part , yaani , if you want verse on marriage theere is a category , like ver se on mutah , verses on aimmah etc

kinda hard though :D

I appologise if this question has already been addressed but is it possible to listen to a whole Surah without having to click on each ayat at a time? Also is it possible to have the audio of Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem before each Surah?

thankyou

The Messenger of Allah declared: "It seems the time approaches when I
shall be called away (by Allah) and I shall answer that call. I am
leaving for you two precious things and if you adhere both of them,
you will never go astray after me. They are the Book of Allah and my
progeny, that is my Ahlul-Bayt. The two shall never separate from each
other until they come to me by the Pool (of Paradise)."
