MashaAllah, Bro. Ali Naqi is one the luckiest momin for whome many momineens are reciting Quran, Salat-e-Wehshat and other dua. A person who was already having a momin soul and with this force of recitation, I'm sure Bro. Ali Naqi will pass all the exams of after life, inshaAllah!

Since, it is recommended to take full name with father's name when you are giving hadya to the soul, therefore, it'll be great if somebody can privide his full name with father's name.

Like "Ali Naqi S/O ??? "

Ali Naqi's fathers' name is Syed Masloob Hussain.

Wasalam

ALI
Allah Almighty announced the Adhan ever since the dawn of Creation with the inclusion of the third Shahada.
Imam al Sadiq (as) said: “We the family of the Prophet were the first to have their names pronounced. When Allah created the Heaven and Earth he ordered a call to be made. It was announced 'I testify that there is no God but Allah three times, I testify that Mohammed is his messenger three times and I testify that Ali is the Commander of the Faithful three times.'”

Is his father's name Syed Masloob Hussain, or Syed Matloob Husain. Being a rather unlettered person, and a new Shia, I want to be sure. Masloob is from Saleeb [cross] and would be a rather unusual name for a Syed Shia.

Masih-uz-zamaan is a common enough muslim name. Maseeh prolly means nijat dehindeh
and as such can be understood why muslim parents would name their children as such.

Masloob [having been crucified] is archetypal of Christian lore, and the Quran negates the crucifixion of Christ, therefore, the name Masloob Hussain elicited that request for clarification.

It could be a typo or an error in aural transmission, kissee nay matloob kahaa ho aur masloob suna gyaa ho ....

Maybe I'm being finicky . . . dunno

The name is definitely Masloob, although I have heard people refer to him as Saloob.
