I think that I prefer my Michigan roots. The mostly-Sunni masjid that I attend in my uni town up in Michigan isn't half as uptight, prudish, and hyper about Pakistanism as the ones down here in Texas.

We live it like you live there. Don't worry we don't live on a farm or anything...lol. We used to live in the city but now we're in the suburbs, the only thing we're missing is the beautiful beaches and weather in Cali......

So I make it 7 from MI; who would have guessed thought there would be more.
Akhi who said he wants to come to Dearborn, inshAllah Kheir, but don't get to happy its not as hyped up as it sounds. If you want to be a true shia you can be it where ever life takes you. And as I see here everyday if u are shia and u don't want to act like it ... even when u have 5 mosques, many Muslims, and many Muslim places u will not. It all goes back to the person, and I have seen many here change for the good and some change for the bad. It's not all bad now either ... its nice to go out and see Muslims neighbors, and many shia's around. I pray that if your family comes here ... you will have the Iman to stay with the good as many have and from the looks of it inshAllah you will. Good luck
