Salam Alaikum,

We have temporarily changed the ShiaChat.com Skin (Theme) for the month of Muharram in commemoration for the tragedy of Karbala.  We will Inshallah bring back the default theme in a few weeks.

We will also be closing down some of the forums on the first of Muharram out of respect for these holy days.

I'd like to remind everyone that our new forum, the Muharram forum, will probably be the most active during this month therefore we ask everyone once again to review the rules and avoid any unnecessary quarrels for the sake of the blood of Imam Hussain .

P.S:  I know this might not be the most appealing colour or skin, but I think it does a good job to put us all in the mood of the month, so let's keep criticism at minimum please.

Mashallah, you guys did a great job, and yeah you are right, it does change the mood.

The only complain i have is the banner, which is a little to big and if you guys could do something about that, if not, then no problem.

why are the atheism, theim - islam judaism christianity forums closed. I mean understand the sunni shia one being closed - but Imam Hussain died to promote Islam's cause and to guide pple to God - isnt it good to have these forums open. I mean a lot of silliness goes on in the social marriage forum and the sisters forum - anyways i just thought i shud say that. Thanks for all your effort tho bro - shia chat is once again a home away from home thanxs to u all.

The red is too dark..hurts my eyes if you can atleast change the default red text ... would be much appreciated.

Overall, it's heart wrenching.

Agreed.  Only the mohorram forum should be open...

Yea I know I just pressed refresh the whole page changed I looked at it for a few seconds and then I just broke in tear's and i agree the color of the text is a little to dark hurts the eye's
