Tips and tricks for a dirty fight:
-The boxing guard (lifting both arms directly in front of the face so that they cover it) is the best way of protecting your face from being smashed.
-A strong headlock will often keep your opponent so busy in trying to escape that he'll stop attacking you for while, until he realises that its the only way he can escape.
During a headlock don't just hold the guy and stand there grinning. Keep using your knees and knee-kick him in his lower back and his legs, and if you can, his sides, as much as you can with a lot of force (without leaving his head). This will weaken your opponent, and he might stop resisting.
If you are caught in a headlock dont waste time trying to remove the guys arms from your neck: it isn't easy. Try to visualize where his head is, and start swinging at his head with your arms. As soon as he leaves your neck and blocks your arms, free yourself from the headlock and make sure you don't get caught again.
- Don't punch with your thumb tucked inside your fist. The thumb has to be wrapped around the OUTSIDE. You may break your thumb if you keep it inside the fist.
Also, don't punch hard areas where you'll risk hurting yourself, like some parts of the head.
Aim for sensitive spots, like the eye, the nose, the temple (this could knock the sucker out), or the jaw if you're good at uppercuts.
Keep punching directly, with one fist protecting your face, and the other one punching straight at your opponent. Keep alternating between fists.
DONT swing until your opponent loses concentration or lowers his arms. When you do swing, swing quickly so you can get your opponent before he ducks or blocks you.
- If you have a bag, throw it off your back as soon as possible. If you have keys in your pocket, pull them out, hold the keys between your fingers, and punch your enemy straight and hard in the face, or even directly onto his own fists so you can injure them.
-Grab the opponenets wrists so he cant hit you. Don't just stand there blinking at him, though. Once you get his wrists start knee-kicking him in the stomach, in the sides and, when he bows down in pain, deliver the final blow: grab his head and pull it towards your knee, and bring up your knee with all the force you can. Once your knee contacts his face his own mother wont be able to recognise him.
If the opponent grabs your wrist then do the same.
-Trip up your opponent.....PROPERLY. Hold him by his back, swing at his legs with your own leg, and push him down at the same time so he falls on his face and doesn't just stumble.
Once he's down, sit on top of him and keep hitting him as much as you want.

With H2O. I can't even count how many times I have literally bathed my hubby while he was seated on the couch throwing some crazy remark at me - and the next thing he knew, while being fully immersed in the television screen, that his head was being poured over by tap-cold water.
Hehehe he starts dancing around like he's been stung by a bee (and that bee is meeeeeeeeeeeee)....
And you sure don't wanna know what he says after that.

Number one rule: Don't Fight. lol Always try to avoid a fight, with maximum effort. However should a time come where you'll have to defend yourself, here are some of my tips:
If your opponent is a good striker, or you think his striking ( punches/kicks ) are gonna hurt you, grab your opponent. Get close to them as quickly as possible and grab them. Learn how to Grapple well. When you're up close to them, they can't hit you as hard. Learn some take down moves. When you grab, grab around their chest or waist area, slide your leg behind their leg and try to take them down. Sometimes it's good to sort of bearhug them, including one of their arms, it will leave them with only one arm to hit you or use. Quickness is the key.
Another take down, is the shoot, this is where you quickly go for their legs, grabbing both legs around the mid-thigh level, wrapping your arms around them, you will throw ur opponent off their centre of gravity, and it'll be easy to take them down. The shoot can be dangerous too, it leaves your head vulnerable depending on how quick you are, I advise to first grab, then go down for the legs, you can avoid a vicious knee this way.
Another take down move, you can grab ur opponents arm and pull it over ur shoulder, or to the opposite side of your shoulder/body, get ur opponents arm extended with some distance away form his body, if u can't exactly get it over ur shoulder, then pull, slide ur feet again infront of his, and go for a flip or take down.
Tripping is a main tactic in take downs. Always look for any openings for headlocks against your opponent, an opponent is also easily taken down if you have them in a headlock, BUT not always.
When your opponent is down, try to stay on top, and close to their body, try to establish a mounting position or side mount, this is where you are on top of their chest area, controlling one arm at least, ur opponent cannot strike with power while being flat backed on the ground. You can strike while being on the higher/top position, with more force and easier than him.
If your opponent is not a real striker, or you are not afraid of his striking, you can stand up. Or if he is going to wrestle you, or grab you, strike him. Always: Protect your weaks spots:
1. protect your face, nose, jaw
2. protect your neck, front neck shots will take u down in a second.
3. protect torso area.
Just like Dj said, if you punch always keep an arm infront of ur face for blocking. Best is to learn how to punch and kick, use side kicks and jabs to keep ur opponent at a distance. But u gotta practise them and be good at them. Usually a high school fight, one or two punches closes the deal anyways lol.
You have to size up ur opponent quickly, u can't fight the same way against everyone, becuz some have different strength, weight, and sizes. If they are a tough puncher, I would grapple them quickly. If they are a good wrestler I would strike them quickly. You can knee a guy grabbing you by grabbing the back of their neck or head and striking.
I used to take Judo, but not for long and I forgot everything, however it's one of my favourite martial arts. That and submission moves, also Mui thai, Brazilian Ju Jitsu, and Boxing, and of course Wrestling.
Lastly though, don't fight, it's a waste of time, and not worth it.
Oh ya one more tip, if you become vulnerable for a headlock or think u are about to get into one and can't avoid it, slide your arm through his lock/grip. That will take away ur opponents ability to choke you full force, becuz ur arm will be blocking. I have managed to slide my arm through headlocks many times even when my opponent had me full headlocked, u gotta practise it. It takes away the effect of the headlock, but most opponents do not realize it.
wa salam.
