You can't judge a book you haven't read. You have only read the 1st book, HALF of the second one, and half a PAGE of the 6th one? You skipped basically 2, 3, 4, 5 AND 6, and you are saying that the books are STUPID? You haven't even read them, yet you are judging them? That's what I call stupidity. :) Just as you shouldn't judge someone you don't know, you shouldn't judge books you haven't even read. Honestly, a 2nd grader can read all 6 books...

Ofcourse you can judge them. If you are read half of it, and you don't like it, and you find it so stupid, why would you want to continue reading?

Plus, the titles aren't too interesting either, and are very childish.

Have YOU read them?!

If they are so childish, then why do they print the books with more adult-like covers so adults can read them too? Many adults read the books and love them.

I wish the books were longer...might give me soemthing to read for more than a day and a half.  ::sighs::  I read waaaaay too fast, I acknowledge this.  Only books I've never been able to read at that speed are text-books and scriptures (Bible, Quran).

I love the books because the world Rawling opened up is so incredible.  There's such life in her stories...now if I could only infuse half that into my own writing, I'd be published.  If I managed to get things written down, that is.  Heh.

Anyway, I like Harry Potter, but I also like classics.  Peace, all.

The first THREE pages of ANY book is not going to be full of tons of action or suspense. You are in no position to judge the Harry Potter books considering you've read ONLY THREE PAGES.
