68. To refrain from unlawful and impious source of pleasures is an ornament to the poor and to be thankful for the riches granted is the adornment of wealth.

69. If you cannot get things as much as you desire than be contented with what you have.

70. An ignorant person will always overdo a thing or neglect it totally.

71. The wiser a man is, the less talkative will he be.

72. Time wears out bodies, renews hopes, brings death nearer and takes away aspirations. Whoever gets anything from the world lives in anxiety for holding it and whoever loses anything passes his days grieving over the loss.

73. Whoever wants to be a leader should educate himself before educating others. Before preaching to others he should first practice himself. Whoever educates himself and improves his own morals is superior to the man who tries to teach and train others.

74. Every breath you take is a step towards death.

75. Anything which can be counted is finite and will come to an end.

76. If matters get mixed up then scrutinize the cause and you will know what the effects will be.

MASHALLAH LOVELY POSTINGS....bro and sis's can we talk abt some of saying too please...I feel this would be even more beneficial...as some are not so clear cut...and others are just so beautiful that you want to talk abt them...how abt it?

'Do not run after one who tries to avoid you'....

This is an excellent saying...but are we not supposed to meet those ppl who do not want to meet us...like if they say go away...you still be good and visit them....showing you are above rivarly?!

Yes I agree with you. Though it is difficult understand in its ture sence the saying of Imam , but I extend based on my very very little knowledge a few words about this saying

This saying teaches us the lesson of Ikhlaaq and self respect. It is quite common today that people try to again the attention of some so-called higher ups and this they do by whatever mean even if those higher ups do not like them and avoid them. But they go after them and doing this they think will fetch some respect and other again for them.  Doing so infact they are losing their self respect which very important.
