salaam alechem.
america should never have had the audacity to be in the middle east.
I am very very very sorry for what has happened.
I personally have never supported US foreign policy.
it has been a historical disaster my whole life.
besides voting against bush and voting against this war, I feel my hands are so tied. I try to talk about this and I get into trouble all the time. Today I made someone very upset at Starbucks when I overheard him say, "I really think it was a good thing that we went to liberate Iraq" and I butted in "you are saying exactly what they want you to believe, start reading non corporate news, try getting news from China or Europe or Al Jazeera or any news but ABC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN etc.
They have a profit motive. There is corruption. The guy really got upset but as I left I said "you have been lied to". It was extremely rude of me to butt in, by even my own standards, but I can't stand back and let people say nonsense without being challenged. but at the same time, they turn on tv and my words have just been undone.
any advice for what I can do to turn america around and get us out of there fast?
my apologies for the grief you all feel, and the burden, and I totally understand your anger.
I feel sick about american ignorance, but let this be a warning to all what could happen when rich people get greedy and lie to other people who are naive.
best wishes

Respected Brother,
Peace be with you.
Thank you so much for your kind words, sympathy and consideration. Yes, unfortunately the U.S. has managed to brainwash its citizens through its biased media that portrays only what the Zionists want.
However, such conditions teach us and compel us to strive with our utmost capacity to educate those who are ignorant. If many individuals, through grass-roots activism, collaborate with each other to educate the masses, eventually and gradually we will succeed in educating those who are ignorant and have been brainwashed.
Thank you.
