I admit I did feel this way at first. As I know Khoja's are very proud of their community and rightly so as they do a great job with all their events!
No single community is perfect - I did feel awkward at first as I dont understand gujju or swahili. as most people are from Tanzania - so u do kinda feel lonely at times. However as time went on and I became a regular attendant, I found all were very welcoming, lovely, decent and open minded people.
I attended Hussaini Zahra Also..and it is always nice to go there as it feels like 'home'..and yes the mataam is the kind I have been raised up with. Like I said every community is unique and of course you will feel more at 'home' wen attending an Imam-bhargha which is of your particular community, only because this is what you have grown up with or in!
But still I have to say, I love satwa
