Salaam,

I am ALL FOR UNITY OF MUSLIMS...I have recently begun to try a small local campaign for UNITY. There are local grous being lead by local Sunni IMAMS who have created such a division and hatred that it almost seems impossible on a small scale. However, I am determined.

This years local Muharram Majalis broke from tradition by inviting people from all walks of life and all religions to participate. 8 out of 10 days the majalis were held at the local university....many SUNNI students from the MSA were able to attend.

The board members of the local Masjid did not allow the Shia community to hold lectures and Majalis at the Masjid....even tho local churches were gracious and offered their space...eventually we chose the university.

I wanted to do a speech on UNITY...during my research on the net...I came across a most disturbing Anti-shia site:

My husband did a WHOIS lookup and traced the site back to Chicago. How can these people do something like this? Why arent we putting an end to this?

Your thoughts on this will be appreciated.

look i'm not shia, thank Allah, but how can you ask for unity when we have this major differences. i do not know this website, and what they say, but most websites that i know and i think you will probably consider them as anti-shia websites are actually defending the campanions, and do not forget there are thousands sites that curse sahabas(may Allah be pleased with them all).,but i wonder how would you like to put it end, do you want to start cyper war.

FYI: Like all the fingers in hand not same , so all the SAHABA'S OF RASOOL
were not same and some of them were MUNAFIQs (see surah munafiqoun).
we have many Hadith in regarding those too.
so We (shia) only CURSE/Lanat on those who were Bad/Munafiqs... coz it's Sunnah of rasool and also Allah also CUSRE on Munafiqs and ignorant muslims.

so don't be Impressed by word Sahaba...... or FAKE hadith about it that sahabas are like stars whichever you chose you will be saved ........... That's TOTALLY Fabricated.

No I do NOT consider all sites ANTI-SHIA. The particular site I mentioned literally calls all SHIA'S DOGS! Go and check out their "contact use" form and you will see.

There are not MAJOR DIFFERENCES...it is just that we focus on those differences and the whole thing gets divided. Sunni's say Shahada and Shia's say Shahada...as far as I am concerned that makes us all the same...MUSLIM believing in ONE UMMAH. We are after the same thing....the MESSAGE!

Yeah it is traced back to a P.O box in chicago. What those fools dont realise that it has to conform to the US laws and a few complaints "Might" shut their website down. A few weeks back they had a banner there claiming to use proxies for visitors from Pakistan since it was being filtered there.

Like the brother above said leave them alone the people there are ignorant who have lost their senses. My only concern at that website is that it may brainwash an innocent Sunni who came across that site and consider it authentic.

I personally have never cursed at the 1,2,3 Caliphs nor Hadrath Ayesha (R.a). Since a few of my friends are sunni i respect their choice and they inturn respect mine, But what to do when Umar has attacked the house of Imam Ali (A)? What to do when Abu Bakr took over the inheritence of Bibi Fatima (A)?

Should i let God decide on how to judge them or should i also yell obsceneties against them? The latter one doesnt do no good at all but then there is Ayotollah Khomeni that has openly condemmed their action.

Its a Big dilemma. I do want the unity cause together Shia's and Sunni can only weed out the virus of Wahabbism but it requires to understand and respect the Sunni belief?

What are your thougths? If you are emtional please take a breathe of fresh air and speak your mind. Maybe one/all can learn something so be responsible.

What about sahab that killed eachother like Khalid ibn al Walid the murderer of another sahabi Malek ibn Nuwayra   and he raped his wife, should Allah be pleased with both or the killer or the victim ? Please help me out here.

Anti shia website is not a correct word but it is anti islamic website. In islam doing gheebat, spreading lies, killing innocents, abusing ahlulbaith is not allowed. Means all acts are aginst orders of quran. The same thing peope doing in that haq chaar yaar or kr forum.

So my brother there is nom difference in orders of quran and hadith of rasool e khuda (s.a.w). If somebody do not want to obey it is his fault.

as salaam alaikum I have a idea that will bring peace Allah (swt) say whatever difference the believers have make peace and fear Allah maybe that last part is what needs to be follwed because you curse sahabas defen sahabas all you want but only Allah judges us all some maybe we should cocentrate on fearing and worshipping Allah then we would not have all day to seat around anger trying to make ourselves feel so smart and important.

I agree about how its a waste of time and wahabis probably did do it lol. for us to even be angry about it and waste our time; isn't gonna help. No one said it would be easy being on the rite path. And for "I'm not shia, thank Allah", read a book and educate yourself before you really make yourself look dumb.

He never did such acts you mentioned in your post. Umar was one the most important pillars in Islam, in its stabilization, in its expansion and in gathering Quran. He was a great politician, a just fighter who fought alongside Ali and his services to islam are of profound importance. These baseless diatribes about Umar are sheer rumors and will certainly not detract from his value in the history of Islam. Hurling vitriolic attacks against key figures in Islam does not change the history of our religion. there is no evidence presented in any academic history book which corroborates these statements.

Salam Alikum,

I contacted the legal department of the hosting company last year about this site. My point of emphasis at the time was they were promiting the July Bomb Blast in Queata, and the wahabi "ulema" who were promiting that kind trash. Unless you can find a direct link or promitional link between that site, and Lashkar e Jhangvi or SSP, then we really cant do anything. If you find pages that are promiting the above mentioned please PM me and we can move further along the legal process.
