okay brothers and sisters this might cause some friction. But before I start off I would like to in advance apologize if any feeling are hurt, I simply feel that this is something that needs to be addressed. I was exposed to information which has literally no genuineness behind it, but the sad part being the information is spoken from the Mimbar to an audience. This is practically one of the main reasons as to why(specifically the Indo-Pak region) our communities are this decadent. No offence to the speaker but the question here arises is the damage this information has had on the hearts of the listeners. From personal experience I can state that masses of youth are literally taken up by these fake ahadits, disinfo and eventually end up feeling good about something that has no validity---leading to wastage of time/energy.

Now coming to the information--The speaker states the during the Fench and English battle, Napoleon did not go to his church, nor did he go to "his God" but wrote a letter to Imam Hussain(a.s) to seek help to fight the English.
Please do correct me if I am wrong but until and unless the ones sitting on the Mimbar take responsibility, things will always seem bleak in our communities.
Once again apologies if this post seemed rude/offensive, I am simply expressing myself among my most beloved circle of brothers and sisters.

That man is a clown, and there was a thread about this topic: http://www.shiachat....imam-hussainas/

Anyway, this is worse:

And they serve beside Allah what can neither harm them nor profit them, and they say: These are our intercessors with Allah. Say: Do you (presume to) inform Allah of what He knows not in the heavens and the earth? Glory be to Him, and supremely exalted is He above what they set up (with Him). [Qur'an 10:18, Shakir translation]

Now, surely, sincere obedience is due to Allah (alone) and (as for) those who take guardians besides Him, (saying), We do not serve them save that they may make us nearer to Allah, surely Allah will judge between them in that in which they differ; surely Allah does not guide him aright who is a liar, ungrateful. [Qur'an 39:3, Shakir translation]

Napoleon, on whom I had a course in college on, was one of those who said in effect, "say you believe what the people believe". In this he said "if you lead  jews, be a jew"; etc.

Napoleon actually believed in his "star".

What exposure Napoleon had to Islam was in relation to his defeating the Mamelukes in battle. I do not remember his saying anything positive about Islam.
Point out someone afraid to behave himself and I'll show you a coward.

I would laugh, except that more than ludicrous, this is just plain sad. And to think people actually go to hear zameer akhtar speak. Once. a relative almost got beaten up at one majlis by this fellow, because he laughed at something he said. The fanboys there weren't too happy with him
