Well, don't take this as a lie, but what did you think when you read this title? What would you do, if this news was true? How would you react?

(salam)

I heard a hadeeth that says, that if a believer hears the arrival of the Imam, then he should do sujood and recite 3 times :

Subhanul Qudoos.

بَقِيَّتُ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

What remains with Allah (Baqiyatullah) is better for you if you are believers.. (Hud : 86)

well he will be in Mecca. His followers will father around the Mecca .  You will not need a TV according to the hadith, everyone will hear the sound of Imam Mahdi saying ''I am baqiyatullah..'' in their own languages.

Its kind of like the trumpet of Gabriel.. just like Miracles happened at the beginning of Islam with our prophets , they will happen at the end too.

FUNNY... :D  The Voice from the sky is not on TV. You don't have to buy a ticket. Save your money. :D Don't buy a ticket. You don't have to listen to the radio. :D The Voice from the sky is Allah’s Voice. Allah speaks directly to mankind in a language everyone understands. In the Holy Quran, Allah explains how to hear the Voice from the sky. If you don't know how, ask your Marja or Ayatollah instructions! :)

Brother, are you sure it is Allah swt voice? Allah swt doesn't have a voice? I am thinking like, I heard this in a Nakshawani lecture I think, where the voice could be the TV. Because every land got TV. RT, etc.

I'm trying to say that I don't believe the "voice in the sky" will come through the TV. That doesn't seem like much of a miraculous sign.

The Voice from the sky is on TV…. soooo FUNNY. :D Very important, I am not laughing at you. I am laughing at the idea that Allah or Angel Gabriel will speak on TV. :D In reality, you are very brave to try and discover the Voice from the sky. It is very advanced or high level Islam. Marjas and Ayatollahs and 50,000 religious students in Qom, Iran should be trying to discover the Voice from the sky. Unfortunately, they are doing other things!

For TV, there will be a lot of logistics and scheduling. For example, listeners on TV must hear the Voice in their own language. There are more than 6,000 languages on earth… so, there will be more than 6,000 translators. Translators will need to know when the Voice will speak before they can translate. (For example, on the 5th day of the month at 5 in the afternoon.) Translators will need to know the time zone. Will translators get paid? Will they translate for free? Where will the 6,000 translators go to hear the Voice? Will broadcasters transmit the Voice for free? :) Will broadcasters get paid?

Programmers could write a computer program to translate the Voice into 6,000 languages. Will they get paid to program? Will they do it for free? :)

Hint… Hint… Allah does not speak on TV. Allah does not need TV, translators, satellites, radios, computers or the Internet to Speak from the sky. :)

Gentlemen, why don't we resolve this issue somewhere in the middle. As you know, the Prophet [pbuh] has taught that 'the best path is that between'. In that case, it may be neither from the "sky" nor from ordinary "TV" but perhaps the issue will be resolved on 'Sky TV'. Is that satisfactory for the both of you?

Joking aside, it is perfectly possible that the first declaration of the Imam's [aj] emergence will be transmitted to the peoples of the world via no miracle other than that of technology. Miracles of the past are not as necessary in modern times since humanity has reached a level of reason. If I were an atheist I could quite reasonably dismiss an apparent miraculous phenomenon as a work of advanced technology. Things like holograms and amplified sounds (including voices) can quite easily be dismissed as technology induced.

While the Prophet's of the past were endowed with physical miracles to persuade the ancients, the Imam's [aj] foremost miracle will be that of his extraordinary 'knowledge' and his piercing and flawless 'reason'. By that he will conquer the intellects of a people belonging to a civilisation that is reason-based.

Love is a flame, burning away all that is not God

Nothing other than God has ever been loved. It is God who has manifested Himself in whatever is beloved for the eyes of those who love...Nothing has ever been worshipped other than Him.
