Where Is Imam's As Head?

Assalam Alikum.


Is Imam Hussain's head burried with his body in Karbala? If not, then where is it? Why is there multiple places of shrines of imam hussain's head in egypt, syria, and lebanon?

I dont know where his head is, but I do know that there are multiple shrines to where his head was taken to. For example the christian in syria who kept his head in the stove I believe, and he heard the Imam recite the quran, they made a shrine there because it was where the head was placed/touched upon.
