As salaam alaikum

Yom e wiladat Bibi Zehra(a.s) Mubarak.

On the birthday of Bibi Zehra(a.s) ,we should all try to wear more Islamic clothes and help other sisters in being good and improving the Islamic sense of dress.

Hijab makes the community more safe and peacefull. It enhances the relationship between two  Muslims.

Hijab means less crime everywhere.

Teach your family hijab through good words.

Hijab means non voilence.

Hijab to me and all sisters -  peace,security and love.

:)

Indian sisters can do their shopping online and do more hijab.Shop from your home.

I give you a few web links for online shopping.

Sisters in faith be happy.May Allah bless all those who believe.

:). :). :)

Pretty scarves

http://www.aliexpres...g=y&needQuery=y

These scarves  are quite vibrant and look good in summer season with lots of prints and colors.

Those who do not like dull looking single color scarves can try these.

I am satisfied with the online shopping  that I do. I did not buy from this particular website as I am not staying in the U.S. But generally things bought from the websites mentioned in earlier post did satisfy me.

Hope you find what you wan't. Atleast you must try by giving small orders and buy the best that suits your requirement and looks best according to your personal taste.

Wish you a good shopping experience.

Since it is  becoming difficult  to go out even with a hijab, women can shop  easily sitting in their house through e shops
Nowadays women face some or the other problem even when wearing proper hijab, so all around the world womens products should be made available on eshops and some other general products  too. There should be atleast five eshops serving the population of a city. This will reduce the crime against women to some extent. It will also reduce traffic congestion problems and other problems like too many cars so too much petrol and so lot of pollution. We will InshaAllah all have a more peacefull and clean world to live in.We wait for the true modernization.Ya Allah.

It is good that products are available online - especially for comparison shopping and creative ideas.  However, encouraging women not to leave their homes citing public hijab discomfort and traffic congestion (?) is not healthy for many reasons.

HAHAHA!! That made me laugh. LOL :P

And yes, clearly this is self advertisment.

But on a side note to be helpful, theres a few Islamic websites that sell pretty things. One of them is zeena (google it) and the other one is this awesome one in Australia (Hijab House) which I would definitlyyyy buy from if shipping wasnt so darn expensive :( I sit and drool at their pretty hijabs every day.

Oh! And I did order from Ali express once...one of them was awesome....the other horrible....lol so its a gamble!

Dear all,those websites aren't  mine.So  no advertising.

I just wanted to help sisters in India  and elsewhere, who really feel that shopping is difficult.Women do not shop only for hijab s and other Islamic items.

They need daily necessities too without any hassle.Considering the changing mahol I thought it was better to suggest websites to those who really need help and pray for it.

Some or the other reason pushes a woman out of the house. But buying everything in the old manner can cause stress related problems as well as irritability due to people's misconduct towards a woman. So considering hijab as not just a scarf,I gave a few links here.

Crime against women is increasing ,so women need to be inside their homes and guard their chastity as much as possible.

Thank you for reading.People can add web links of eshops in their city as I do not know much all around the world.Help Muslimas save themselves.

You're right sister that Hijab is not just a scarf, it is the modesty that a woman should epitomize when carrying herself. However Hijab does not mean locking yourself in your home, after all the importance of Hijab is placed on women to allow her to have a role in society not to eradicate her from it.

If anything, in the current climate, women need to learn how to defend themselves, attend religious seminary and seek knowledge to strengthen their Imaan. The physical dangers of the environment are no doubt great but the spiritual dangers also need to be addressed, which becomes limited after a point by solitude in ones own quarters.

There are less drastic measures such as women going out in groups or being accompanied. Guarding your chastity is not equivalent to hiding in fear  but overcoming the traps of Shaytaan.

Interestingly, I was speaking to a friend who till recently lived in India and was attacked in her own home thus there is no guarantee of safety even within ones own home. The best a woman can do, is prepare herself so that should any harm befall her, she has the tools to defend herself in the physical and spiritual sense.

Dear ,if women wan't to learn judo or martial arts to protect themselves, then this will expose them more and you know when they learn such they wear western clothes or very lose pajamas which go up the leg very easily. So what use it is.Hijab also means a barrier and so the more thick the barrier, more hijab and hence more protection.Hitting a man causes your body to touch that of namahram( stranger) which is not allowed in Islam, then sister what use is this self defense martial arts. How is it going to save a really good hijabi?.

Most martial art classes especially those aimed at teaching self defense do not have a set uniform, I know women who have learnt martial arts in loose robes with secure clothes underneath. I myself attend women only classes run by a Muslimah and I know that you can be accommodated in other ladies only classes quite easily.

Secondly, since when is hitting a na Mahram in self defense not allowed in Islam when your life or chastity is under threat? According to you, a good Hijabi as you put it, would not fight off an attacker and therefore would inevitably submit to a rapists' will however that is counter productive as Hijab is about preserving chastity and protection. So sister, God forbid if a man entered your home and began to attack you, as the good Hijabi I am sure you must be, you would have to allow it?

Let's be reasonable, saving your life is Wajib in Islam. Haram becomes Halal when it comes to preservation of life such as the commonly used example of eating pig becoming incumbent upon you. As you already pointed out crime against women is increasing, therefore common sense tells you, women's ability to defend themselves should also increase. Everybody, regardless of gender should know at least the basics of how to defend themselves.

A woman has to protect herself at all costs. What would be worse, hitting a rapist's face with your fist or the alternative? Besides, you can go to a female only class. When I have a daughter Inshallah, I will make sure she attends a martial arts class (and ballet of course).
