(salam) Brothers  iran has repeatedly said that its nuclear program is for energy purposes. As an engineer i know that nuclear power is cheap but its not that cheap that a country can go to such extreme to break its ties with whole world. Secondy nuclear power plants are extremely dangerous and safety measures increases their price. There is something dark. So do you people think Iran's nuclear program is for nukes? May be iran is doing takiyah by not telling the world?

Even if Iran wanted nukes, what's the problem? Any nation has a right to do what other nations could do.

Its their right to build nukes, but why lie? No need to tell 196 countries that your program is for energy !!!!!!!!

Is it permitted in shiaism?

Avoiding the start of a war is best, in this case a white lie. Thank god Iran exists otherwise the Middle east would drop like flies.

Theirs a fatwa by Imam Khamanei that forbids nuclear weapons.
"He who declares War against us, be he a father or brother, it is our right to face them with defending our rights and arms and resistance and existence. You know us, You tried us, and you can try us, and I don't advise you to try us. The hand that extends to the resistance's arms we will cut it! Forgive me we are in a completely new era. We will arrest those who seek to arrest us. We will shoot anyone who shoot at us. We will cut the hand that extends to hurt our young men. We will not be killed in the streets anymore. Even if all the armies of the world came. Whoever wants dialogue will get dialogue."  Sayyed Hassan NasrAllah

His Eminence, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Grant Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei has issued a Fatwa that forbids the use of nuclear weapons in Islam.  Considering he is the supreme leader of the entire country, I would take him at his word.  It's not like President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad or any other government employee can do anything against it (not that they would, anyway).

^Correction: Aya. Khamanei is Vali Amr Al-Muslimeen. He is the guardian of all Muslims (Shia + Sunni) even if one doesn't agree to it, doesnt take the title away. Lol i bet this will light a fire among many but this is what it is. Its his title.

if Iran did nuclear weapons, they would do them to make a balance in the area. What will they do? Strike israel? And what? Kill a million of Lebanese Shia living in the South of Lebanon with them?

As an engineer, I think you're doing taqiyah by pretending to be a neutral observer while being a shia-hating illegitimate nasibi troll. This is another topic you've opened on this forum.

I want to talk a bit practical here.

1. A non muslin will never be attracted to a religion that promotes Monarchy, rule by inheritance, by saying Hazrat Ali (ra) should have khilafat because of his relation with prophet (Although Quran clearly states in Quran that best among you is the one more pious)

2. Marriage can be done to just fulfill your sexual needs , like one night stand ,mutah. Even non practicing christian will laugh at mutah.

3. you can lie , takeiyah.

Why lie? Just say openly that you hate shias and are here to promote anti-Shia propaganda. Don't take us for fools.

Iran refuses to become the economic slave of other countries. Its common sense - oil will run out eventually. Other forms of energy are needed.

Its not only an energy providing issue. Building Nuclear power plants is a way for Iran to improve its technological capabilities and also increase its economy.

Large scale/sophisticated technological programs such as this are the most effective way to increase innovative thinking, create jobs, and increase both private sector and public sector growth.

Although this is not the best analogy - but when the U.S sent a man to the moon they estimate for every dollar invested in to that program, it put nearly a billion dollars back in to the economy.

I don't think you will find virtually any Iranian who wants to give up on their peaceful nuclear ambitions.

-------

The building of nuclear weapons is forbidden in Islam. No muslim could ever use such a weapon, only Kafirs would be willing to wage war like that. They are completely forbidden in Islam, and I don't believe any marja has ever said other wise.

Well i never said in the whole post that i am neutral, mind it. Secondly its so kind of you  to blame anyone of nasibi troll without knowing him.  When you cant answer you start saying propoganda/ nasibi/ wahabi etc. Gentleman answer the post if you can otherwise stay away.

This is the problem with any self created aqeedah! They put you in awkward situations. Situation in which iran is.

Iran is dumb if its nuclear program is for defence purposes.

Iran is dumbest if its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes. What the hack! like you are endangering your whole economy/exports/imports/progress/infrastructure for just few cents cheap energy?Nothing wise..........

And what about all the sanctions? In present world In order to technologically progress you need foreign investment/brains/expertise. Its not something you can build at home. You need better cooperation with entire world. Not just few cents cheap electricity. By the way their is nothing special in nuclear technology.

Are you kidding me? If that was the case North Korea would not be a failed state. Contrary to them South Korea is a major economic power and one of the wealthiest countries in Asia.

Someone is hurt due to Iran's defiance infront of world powers when sunni countries are on their knees begging.
