I suggest investing in a crockpot.  I love my crockpot for days when I want something easy and don't have time to spend in the kitchen.  You can throw a bunch of stuff in the pot in the morning, and by dinner time have a soup ready, or a roast with veggies, or chicken, or pasta, etc.  You can make breakfast-bakes in your crockpot, like eggs with peppers, mushrooms, onions, etc.  You can make breads in a crockpot.  You can make desserts in a crockpot.  (Am I convincing you yet?)

(wasalam) pasta salad. i can make it for crying out loud, so you can too :D

boil pasta, as much as you want. once its boiled, take some mayonnaise, about 1 cup [depending on how much you make] and mix it with the pasta. add stuff like chopped bell peppers, carrots, lettuce, beans, etc. sprinkle some salt, and black pepper, for flavor. viola! feast is complete.
there are a lot of variations of the recipe online, take your pick. sorry my directions are so vague :(

Someone picked up the head of Hussain: "These lips that kissed The Prophet now kiss the dust."

"Sometimes you find requests are not immediately granted. Do not be disappointed. Fulfillment of desires rest in the true purpose or intention of the prayer. More often fulfillment is delayed because merciful Lord wants to bestow upon you suitable rewards. In the meantime bear patiently hardships, believing sincerely in His help. You will get better favours, because, unknowingly you may ask for things which are really harmful to you. Many of your requests, if granted, may bring eternal damnation. So at times, withholding fulfillment is a blessing in disguise."
