He didn't ignore your statement. However your statement is wrong, hence being vulnerable to dismissing. The claim was as follows: Iran will not attack Israel FIRST. That is not the same as not attacking. Israel has attacked Iran through proxies long before Iran ever did, so hence Iran attacked back, not first.
