Weight Issue

I have trouble gaining weight. Do any of other SC members face a similar dilemma, how does one overcome it?
I eat mostly veg. items now because the place where I'm in, imports chicken and mutton from Brazil and Australia. So I'm not sure of it being halal. Beef is something I don't particularly fancy. Besides this, I eat eggs, milk, cheeses etc so I get my proteins from there. I also hate to stick to a diet.
Please help me become fat.

I eat all of what you said. No results.
@Tima:
I love potatoes and gorge on them, but yet unsuccessful.
@UmmAhmed:
Well, I wanted to try the protein shakes, will Inshallah start soon on them. What did you eat or are eating that you're close to gaining the optimum weight?
@Gypsy:
I wish I could eat chicken because they make it everyday. Beef is rarely cooked here.
What are the most fattening foods ever?
I've tried ice cream and chocolates..I can eat tubs of them at a go. But they never seem to have an effect on me at all.

You dont want fat but muscle and good weight.
For your body type which I assume is an ectormorph, concluding asian body and slow twitch muscle type. You need to work out in order to break down muscle for them to grow and feel hungry.
After broken down they need protien and good carbs to build up again.
Go here for somework out plans and diets to help you.

Fish, nuts, pasta, rice, plenty of veg with good protien source, eat 6 times a day plus working out if you can. etc. Google is research friend.

don't let anyone tell you that you can't do something.
WHATEVER I POST ARE MY OWN VIEWS, IDEA'S I AM WILLING TO CHANGE. DO NOT CONSIDER ANY OF THIS AS AN ATTACK. .
It's not who you are, it's what you do that defines you.
Truth is what i strive for. In the pursuit of truth, i am open minded if you can provide to me a more logical view on any of my beliefs , ideas, religious or scientific.

The only problem with trying to gain weight, is that unless you exercise and are very careful, that extra weight won't place itself where you want it to, so you may not look so good as you thought that you would. In my opinion it is better to have a healthy diet and let the weight issue take care of itself.
I have known people who have had "trouble" gaining weight, and from what I can see, it's because they (as the imams (a.s.) advise us to) stop eating when they are no longer hungry, as opposed to the rest of us that just keep eating because it tastes good.

to be honest, just eat a balanced diet, and u r good to go, eat a lot of fish with rice or with pasta or shrimp. They r both good if u rn't sure about chicken, u can also make pretty filling veggie dishes like baked in the oven with cheese and bread,,

healthy food is the key, natural fresh and balanced
you can eat beef by playing tricks in kitchen, tricks that can fool your brain
also the seafood protien, the beans eggs and olive oil
if you are a male, the physical activity and sports should do the trick, your testesterone should make up the bulk of muscles
if you are a female though, you may need to visit a doctor, it is tricky because the low weight can be due to hormonal imbalance and sometimes some hormonal imblanaces are not compatible with sports or the other way around
anyways
stick to healthy food, play with the timing of meals the amount the frequency etc
keep it healthy all the way

You won't get fat because your metabolism is high and no matter how much you eat, you won't gain a lot of weight... My sister is skinny and the amount she eats it's just a miracle that she is skinny... LoL.. If I would eat as much as her I would turn into a fatso lol

The secret is, eat small meals at regular intervals.
InshAllah this will help

I would say that if you seriously want to lose weight, then do these simple things:
- Go Organic and NON-GMO. These products will give you proper nutrients that aren't stripped out of your foods like normal foods you get at stores. Where do you get this? Go to your local Whole Foods store if you have any. Also, HEB has many of the organic products. DON'T go to Walmart for your foods, unless the same organic products are there.
- Stop eating any and all fast food. If you want to eat, then I would suggest probably Chipotle or some restaurant that carries at least organic ingredients.
- Start drinking lots of water. Also, if you want to get even healthier, then take away the fluoride and other harmful elements from your water by using a fluoride filter. How do you do this? Go to PROPUR's website and buy a ~$180 legitimate water filter that takes away 99.9% of bad things from your water.
- Milk products that are organic will help you consume milk. Some people who have milk allergy situations, then they will slowly realize that with organic products you might not have that same issue.
- Stop drinking any kind of beverages like carbonated drinks (don't drink at any time). Stop the urges you get for binging at times i.e. eating chips or dessert. You can dibble and dabble once a week but that is all.
- Start running at least 4 times a week or walking every day.
- Get a bit more night sleep than you are used to getting.
- Fasting is also a good solution at times. I'm not saying make it into a weight loss program, but try one or two days a week (i.e. Thursdays which is sunnah).
- Finally, make du`aa that you lose the weight.
If these don't help you out, then I don't know what will. Inshaa' Allaah.
